Transgender Lesson Kindergarten Class? Parents Outraged!

On Monday, a group of outraged parents attended a school board meeting after learning that a California teacher had been reading transgender books to her kindergarten students. She also had them participate in a transgender demonstration.

Earlier in the summer, the teacher read two transgenderism books out loud and then instructed each student to select their “true identity” in front of the class by picking what clothes they want to wear. One of the transgender students revealed her “true gender” in front of the other children.

The parents feel that it’s unacceptable that Rocklin Academy school board didn’t alert them of this lesson in advance.

“These parents feel betrayed by the school district that they were not notified,” said Karen England with the Capitol Resource Institute.

At the school board meeting, the teacher defended her actions in front of the disgruntled parents.

“I’m so proud of my students, it was never my intent to harm any students but to help them through a difficult situation,” said the teacher.

She was given the books from a past transgender student who was going through a transition.

However, her actions left several of the students confused.

“The kindergartners came home very confused, about whether or not you can pick your gender, whether or not they really were a boy or a girl,” said England.

Some of the parents felt that it wasn’t the teacher or the school’s place to try to educate their children in this manner.

“I want her to hear from me as a parent what her gender identity means to her and our family, not from a book that may be controversial,” said one parent.

“My daughter came home crying and shaking so afraid she could turn into a boy,” said another parent.

“It’s really about the parents being informed and involved and giving us the choice and rights of what’s being introduced to our kids, and at what age,” said Chelsea McQuistan, another parent.

While some of the other parents and fellow teachers defended the transgender lesson.

“When we head in the direction of banned books or book lists, or selective literature – that should only be read inside or outside the classroom, I think that’s a very dangerous direction to go,” said Kelly Bryson, a 7th grade teacher at Rocklin Academy.

“It was so precious to see that he had absolutely no prejudice in his body. My child just went in there and listened to the story, and didn’t relate it to anything malicious, or didn’t question his own body,” said one parent.

Because of the parent’s outrage, the district said that it will discuss with parents when outside curriculum books are to be incorporated into a lesson.

“As indicated by Superintendent Robin Stout in a communication last week, staff will be engaging parents and teachers in discussions about how materials outside our curriculum will be addressed in the future,” said the district in a statement at the board meeting.

Author’s note: This teacher should be fired. She had no right to force (or attempt to brainwash) her views on transgenderism to children at an especially delicate age.

Editor’s note: We have published before, the opinion that transgender conditioning is child abuse. This issue has NO science behind “transgenderism” it is a political agenda.  If you want the truth, read the following from the Punching Bag Post:
