The destruction of Portland in Oregon continues by sociopathic liberals infesting the city. In a recent criminal attack, a man who considers himself a transsexual set fire to a historic church in Portland, and later tried to blame it on mental illness.
Built in 1905, the Portland Korean Church was considered one of the historical and architectural attractions of Portland. On January 3, the Portland Korean Church located off Northwest 10th Avenue in downtown Portland was seen engulfed in flames. Andy NGO of The Post Millennial later posted a video of the church going down in flames.
On January 5, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office announced the arrest of Cameron David Storer, a man in his mid-20s, who now identifies as a woman and goes by Nicolette Fait.
On Wednesday, January 4, Storer entered the Multnomah County Detention Center and confessed to setting the fire.
According to the press release, which used the pronoun “they” to refer to Storer, the suspect claimed mental illness was responsible for his act of arson. He told the police that he takes about 10 oxycodone pills daily due to a “previous injury” and has been living with schizophrenia. He claimed that he heard voices in his head telling him he would be mutilated if he did not torch the church. He has been charged with 3 felonies: first-degree arson, second-degree arson, and second-degree burglary.
The heavily damaged historic church was demolished on Friday, January 6 while dozens of people gathered to watch the demolition.
Expressing outrage over the crime, a Twitter user wrote:
Another male self-ID’ing into a “female crime.
Another person questioned the use of two names for the culprit and reminded that his official name is the only real name he needs to be called.
It is worth noting that the transgender criminal claims schizophrenia, which is characterized by delusions – irrational beliefs that are out of touch with reality. The World Health Organization (WHO) included transgenderism as a mental illness for decades under the term gender incongruence. However, starting in January 2022, it revised its definitions and excluded transgenderism from its list of mental illnesses.
