Time to ignore last minute campaign rhetoric and vote

Time to ignore last minute campaign rhetoric and vote

In the 1970s, one of the more popular nonpartisan watch-dog organizations was the Fair Campaign Practices Committee (FCPC).  It was run by Missouri journalism professor Sam Archibald.  Today, it would be referred to as a fact-checking organization.

Basically, it would review campaign advertising and statements to determine if what was said is true.  It would then issue public statements when it was determined that voters were being provided with misinformation – lies.  As a preventative, candidates were asked to sign a Fair Campaign Practices Committee pledge.  That was also widely publicized.

The FCPC also co-sponsored a Washington-based congressional internship program for journalism students intending to pursue political and public affairs reporting careers.  Sear, Roebuck & Co. was the other co-sponsor.   I am very familiar with the FCPC and the internship program because I was working in Sears’ Washington office with supervisory responsibilities over the programs.

One of the FCPC’s principal advice to voters was to ignore any new developments or accusations that arise in the last 30 days of a campaign – especially if they did not provide hard evidence and an adequate opportunity for a response.  The Committee was concerned about statements and claims that could not be proven by those making the accusations – or disproved by those being accused.

As can be expected, we are seeing the concern of the FCPC playing out in today’s election – and as a voter, I will take the advice of the FCPC and ignore them. Here are two examples.

General John Kelly

The first is former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly’s sensational accusations that President Trump is a fascist – and an admirer of Adolph Hitler (or at least his generals).  No matter what one may think of Kelly, and his service to the nation, the timing of his description of Trump raises suspicion.

He has not made such a public accusation for more than 7 years – and decided to go public only within days of the 2024 election?  Apparently, Kelly did not feel honor bound to raise a concern when Trump ran in 2020.  There can be no doubt that Kelly’s motivation was purely political – whether one believes him or not.

Trump denies saying such things – and others in the room support Trump’s denial.  It is nothing more than a he said/he said situation.  Folks can only choose to believe who they believe because there is no solid evidence one way or the other.

In a feeble attempt to give Kelly’s statement an appearance of credibility, a number of disgruntled former White House workers issued a statement that what the General said “sounds like” something Trump might have said.  They are not corroborating the accusation because they, like you and I, were not in the room to hear it.  Even if there was conversation regarding Hitler’s generals, we do not know the all-important context.  What is Kelly’s spin – and there always is a spin.

While the anti-Trump media is giving Kelly’s statements maximum coverage and   credibility, the fact-checker Snopes rates Kelly’s statements as “unproven.”

I do not know the truth in this situation, but I am very suspicious based on the timing.  So, I will take the FCPC’s advice and disregard the entire subject as having no relevancy

Stacey Williams

One time professional model Stacey Williams claims that she was “groped” by Trump in his office in the presence of sexual pervert Jeffery Epstein.  Unlike the Kelly claim – which I disregard because I simply do not know the truth – I will disregard this because I consider Williams’ story to be overly hyped … exaggerated … or even a lie — purely for partisan political reasons.  At least Kelly can make some claim to personal credibility.  Not Williams.

According to Williams, the “groping” involved Trump rubbing his hands along her side and toward her buttocks.  (That sounds like what wheelchair-bound President George H.W. Bush is alleged to have done to writer Christina Baker Kline while posing for a photograph alongside his wife and in the presence of security, staff and photographers.  But I digress.)

Williams said this happened while Epstein – who she was dating at the time – was watching.  Watching what?  Her getting a friendly (or even an overly friendly) pat on the posterior?  Williams claims that she felt like she was brought there as a “piece of meat”.  Does she mean that Epstein and Trump had connived to entice her to Trump’s office so she could have her butt pinched while her weirdo boyfriend watched?  Sounds like Williams is making a mountain out of a molehill – or in this case a butte out of a butt.

When you consider that Willims is a longtime Democrat activist — a Harris supporter, who recently attended the Vice President’s “survivor” event — the entire thing sounds too contrived.  I cannot imagine that a pat on the butt 30 years ago qualifies her as a “survivor”.    Maybe something more serious occurred in her lifetime, but nothing like that was revealed.  But she did talk about the incident with Trump as if it was traumatic.

Do not expect this story to end up in court.  It would get thrown out — even in New York.  It is so bad that it is shameful that media types would even air it – and no fact checking.  Instead, today’s journalists give the accusations inordinate coverage for their own partisan political purposes.

If you take the FCPC’s wise advice, you will toss these bits of last minute political chicanery in your mental recycle bin and pay more attention to really important issues – the issues that really affect you..

Unfortunately, we do not have a Fair Campaign Practices Committee to objectively monitor campaign narratives – and to constantly remind us that last minute unsubstantial accusations should be dismissed out of hand.  But we can still take its advice to ignore unsubstantiated election-eve accusations.

So, there ‘tis.

Man, poor, poor garbage man Turnip.

Oh how they pick on the poor man. Poor, weak, always the victim of everything he himself does. He call us, the evil from within, he’s coming to take us away, ha-ha, arnold palmer’s dick size, death penalties for immigrants accused of violent crimes, we are the weaponizes of all things, if we protest – he will sick the military on us, lock n loaded Kent State time again, oh boy. Poor poor Trump got picked on…..

Do you really this this is one sided, we started it, you are the only victims? Come on man, give it a rest. If we put the fake news, accusations, rumors being told. Lies being sold, on the scale of justice, really —- which way do you think it would tip. TO THE RIGHT. Hard Right.

SOME FACTS: Officers responded to a polling station in Neptune Beach, Fla., where an 18-year-old boy was wielding a machete with a group of teenagers accused of intimidating Democratic supporters.

Lutzenberger, 63, was arrested last Thursday after he was accused of assaulting a 69-year-old election worker in San Antonio, Texas. Lutzenberger was asked to remove his cap, which showed support for former President Donald Trump, while walking through a polling place. That is the law, always has been. He cast his vote and then put his hat on before leaving the place, according to Bexar’s County Sheriff Javier Salazar. As Lutzenberger was leaving, the voting clerk told him to take off his hat as it is illegal to sport clothing supporting a candidate inside a polling area under Texas law. Lutzenberger then allegedly threw an arm or elbow back at the clerk, and then turned and threw several punches right at the victim’s face, Salazar said. The 69-year-old election worker suffered some “marks” on his face but no life-threatening injuries, Salazar said Friday. The sheriff said that Lutzenberger was arrested following the incident and taken to Bexar County jail.

Elsewhere, deputies arrested a man accused of yelling anti-Semitic and racial slurs at a woman campaigning outside of an early voting site in Loxahatchee, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Nicholas Farley, 30, faces up to 10 years in prison on two charges related to voter intimidation and interference. According to his arrest report, Farley yelled obscenities while circling the parking lot of the Acreage Branch Library in a white van on Thursday, Oct. 24. When questioned by deputies, Farley denied knowing that early voting was taking place. He then volunteered the name of a pro-Nazi website and launched into a racist lecture, repeating and supplementing the slurs witnesses accused him of using in the library’s parking lot.

In DeSantistan, a Florida man was arrested this week after he was accused of intimidating voters. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Nicholas Farley was spotted at Acreage Community Park in Loxahatchee on Oct. 3 yelling slurs from a white van.

Up North in liberal land, in Philadelphia man charged with threatening a political representative recruiting poll watchers. Officials say 62-year-old Republican John Pollard threatened to kill a member of a state political party trying to recruit poll watchers. The U.S. Department of Justice is charging a Philadelphia man with threatening to kill and “skin” a representative of a state political party who was trying to recruit poll watchers. John Pollard, 62, sent a text message to the unnamed representative saying he was “interested in being a poll watcher” after he got the person’s phone number from a social media post, according to a release. The post was recruiting volunteers to “help observe at the polls on Election Day,” officials wrote. Pollard is accused of sending three threats to the employee less than ten minutes after initial contact was made. One of the messages read that he was going to “SKIN [the victim] ALIVE,” officials wrote. He made his first appearance in federal court Tuesday after being arrested Monday. He’s charged with one count of transmitting interstate threats, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Just some facts to show how this is not one-sided, none of it. Yes, these are physical acts; there’s plenty of rhetoric coming from the right. Start with the MSG speakers beyond Trump. You really don’t need any more than that. Like:

“It’s wild,” he said of people crossing the border. “And these Latinos, they love making babies too, just know that. They do. They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside, just like they did to our country.”

““Cool, Black guy with a thing on his head? What is that, a lampshade? Look at this guy, oh my goodness. Wow. I’m just kidding, that’s one of my buddies. He had a Halloween party last night. We had fun. We carved watermelons together.” Seasons don’t fear the watermelon, wonder if that brings back memories for the author, Larry P. Horist….

“Let me remind you, Hillary, it was your husband who shot innocent people — or, as he called them, interns. Yeah, Hillary, I bet you did not see that one coming. By the way, if I commit suicide in three weeks, I didn’t.”

And that’s the comedian. You should read the serious speakers…….

    • Tom

And lets not forget in today’s Drudge Report Trump advocated nine guns pointed at Liz Cheney’s face for an execution which he also said on a C Span interview yesterday with Tucker C. Trump has waged a campaign of violence, extremism, and misogamy for the past year, and now says he will protect women no matter if they like that or not!!! What planet, century, and country is his head in these days!???

So yes, Larry would like all of us Indies to not look at all of the things Trump has said this year. This is what Larry does!!!

      Good comment SD!

    • Americafirst

You are the garbage, dangerous man. You own the trash!

  2. Tom

This article gets a Stop The Spin rating of 5++ because it is full of spin!!! Full of contempt for women. Full of contempt for Military generals that tell the truth and all of their associates that state that they tell the truth. I would not even use this article for my fish wrap, I wouldn’t want all of the bullshit in this article to get on my fish.

Wow! Larry was a supervisor over the FCPC but now does not take their advice. Larry says, “One of the FCPC’s principal advice to voters was to ignore any new developments or accusations that arise in the last 30 days of a campaign – especially if they did not provide hard evidence and an adequate opportunity for a response. WHEN HAS LARRY EVER PROVIDED HARD EVIDENCE FOR MOST OF HIS LIES!!!!?????

    1) NOTICE that Larry is questioning the timing of General Kelly’s comment, not the content itself. Larry knows the content is true. So he will try to sway you with the “timing argument”. Sorry Larry, most of us Indies do not care about timing, we care about accuracy and truth. And right now we are breaking for Harris because it is all about something you do not know, CHARACTER!!!

    2) Hey Larry, Kelly’s concern is country over party!!! This is something you cannot understand either. And by the way, Kelly was the one being talked to – it is first hand primary testimony. This is very believable!!! And you would have disbelieved it even if it was said six months ago because you are way up the echo chamber of Trump’s ass!!! Your paragraph on Kelly is journalistic masturbation!!! It won’t work but I guess you will soothe the souls of your MAGA minds.

    3) On the Stacey Williams, model, paragraphs, it is not that you do not know the truth. You are a person of situational party loyalty and ethics character that clearly disregards the truth and looks the other way. This is the core of your problem and why I rate your articles, it is a form of gentle therapy that you desperately need!!

    4) Larry, you were a father, you raised an adopted daughter. And yet you as a father would vote for a man that wants to take away one or more of her freedoms and would grope her pussy and kiss her when she does not want this!??? What kind of father are you really??? You put Trump ahead of women’s needs but run and hide when confronted on it!!!

    5) Larry will not believe the groping story of Stacey Williams. YET, there are 26 other documented cases of women coming forward with similar stories of their experience with Trump, AND Trump was convicted of digital rape!!! How thick is your head Larry???

    6) Larry’s following paragraph on Williams and Epstein is totally grotesque. Larry has a history of undervaluing women, and this paragraph surely shows it!!!

    7) Larry says, ” Does she mean that Epstein and Trump had connived to entice her to Trump’s office so she could have her butt pinched while her weirdo boyfriend watched? Sounds like Williams is making a mountain out of a molehill – or in this case a butte out of a butt.” YES LARRY, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT SERIAL SEX ABUSERS DO!!! THEY MAKE THEIR INVITATION SEEM BENIGN AND THEN ABUSE THEIR TARGET VICTIM ONCE THEY HAVE THE VICTIM IN A SITUATION WHERE THEY HAVE NOT CONTROL AND THE ABUSER HAS ALL OF THE CONTROL!!! ARE YOU REALLY SO DENSE LARRY???

    8) YES LARRY, THE SEXUAL ABUSE (NO MATTER HOW SLIGHT IN YOUR WARPED MIND) IS TRAUMATIC TO WOMEN BECAUSE IT IS A MESSAGE OF LOSS OF CONTROL!!! Again, you show how you undervalue or do not value women’s feelings. And then you insinuate that this announcement must have been prompted by something she learned in a “survivor” class. You do not get to decide what her proper reaction should have been, when she goes public about it, or how she interprets the event, YET, this is what you have tried to do!!! Shame on you for being so stone cold towards abused women!!! And she is one of twenty-seven with the same story.

    9) And Larry, your “butte out of a butt” joke or what you feel is a crafty comic slur is a loser and further shows your disregard for women just like your chicken and watermelon slur showed your disregard for our black people. LARRY, STOP TRYING TO BE A COMIC – IT SHOWS YOUR CHARACTER FLAWS EVERY TIME!!!

    10) Larry criticizes media for airing the Williams story without fact checking. Yet Larry knows Trump will not say anything and Epstein is dead!! HEY LARRY, CHECK OUT FOX!!! FOX never checks facts and there are lawsuit damages of $787 Million to prove it!!! FOX prefers to make up its own facts!!!

    11) Larry wants you to look the other way on these recent revelations so you can be just like him, and ignore Trump’s behavior and words. Hey Larry, the character of the President of the United States affects ALL of us greatly!!! Many of us do not want four years of very poor character and full of lies!!!!

    • Americafirst

Tom, just like the contempt YOU have for women? Women like me. That you show every single day? Explain that to all of us. The disgust you have for me shows your incredible hate for women. You never show any feelings for my feelings. You undervalue me. It is you men that all grope and rape. Maybe not all but so many that starts as early as preteen. I was raped as a preteen. A little girl out in the country where we lived. I have never forgotten how frightened and hurt I was. BUT, you are definitely going to have to prove Trump- groped that woman before you say anything more and have to retract an untrue and disgusting statement.. Funny how it is just before an election. It isn’t going to bother most females, either because we know what rapists’ you men are. Your book you wrote above really hurt me, hurt me to the core. But what the Hell do you care? You are showing your true self every day, more and more. Your own disregard for women is worse than what you accuse Larry of. Because you don’t really know. You are just shooting your criminal mouth off = again! YOU are the JOKE here, not Larry. Larry did not refer to all women, just the one. How you got all women is beyond words. Since you hate Larry so much, hate what he says, then don’t stay on here. Leave and leave forever. I certainly do not want you here, but I can’t control that, nor do I want to. I want you to show all of us just what a Satan you are every single post you make so others will also tell you off. So – get lost!

      • Tom

I promise that my contempt is solely directed at you AF. hahahahahahaha My disgust for you is because of your lies and absolutely mentally ill responses and conspiracy theories that misdirect younger impressionable minds. You are a very warped person. There is no truth in you. The better side of you ran down your mom’s leg! I do not undervalue you. I simply do not value you at all because most of your responses are just plain stupid, mentally ill junk. You add nothing to most conversations. I already gave the proof that Trump groped her if you ever took the time to paste the links I provided into your browser. Yes, sometimes the truth does hurt. It only hurts you because of your sad life and frail mental capacity. I really do not care if I hurt garbage. I have more respect for the fat I cut off of my steak last night than I have for you. I do not hate Larry. I may not respect his lack of truth or the way he only tells half of the story, but Larry needs my rating system as part of his deprogramming therapy. I provide the half of the story that LArry does not tell his readers – and that is my value. But you are beyond hope. Why do you refer to your father Satan? He is where you get your corny conspiracy theories from! So go take your meds, get your CBT therapy, and stop logging onto institution computers to publish your garbage! You are an embarrassment to human flesh! Period.

    • Americafirst

Tom, one more thing. You are acting more and more like Hitler every day.

      • stranger danger

Last weekend, America First stated: “That EBS/EAS signal is supposed to go off this weekend. PBP has been running these stories because they believe it’s ok to pull the fire alarm if there is no first even if people might get hurt. They feel extreme free speech is worth a little extra risk and maybe some damage. Same with telling lies about immigrants; what the hell if some Trumplican whacko drives to Springfield, Aurora, or whatever-port to wreak a little havoc amongst Latino’s. Fucking floating garbage after all. Bring your nine-barrel shotgun, Trump’s weapon of weird. And women, Trump will protect you all, and your rape babies, whether you liked it or not, Frank Stetson says you like it. Freakin weird episode of twilight zone is what it is…..

America First also said: “The disclosure movies will prove everything I have ever said. My advice? When you see those recordings, have a bucket in front of you because you may get sick unless you are part of the elite underground child trafficking sickness which then you won’t need that bucket. Then you will see all the arrests that have happened already and find out who’s next. All your rich elite friends are going to have a new home for a short while. Then they won’t need those homes anymore.”

It’s been over a week, do you know where your EBS signal has gone? Time to reset the conspiracy clock.

When dealing in conspiracies, one must learn that dates and deadlines are anathema to the cause. Once you put a metric in, you will probably lose. Unless of course that the conspiracy turns out to be true.

But on this one, it looks like our leaders are not clone-based or doubles, that Gitmo is just gitmo, and that the Marines will not be sent in at this time. Generally, most Marines would not attack our own citizens. They put America first, party later.

It’s been a week, now America First says the proof is found in the Law of War Manual, all 1,000 plus pages which mention nothing about America First’s whacko lie of a conspiracy theory. I searched the entire document, nothing is there, she lies. Then, she goes off about me being a NAZI and communist, a neat trick never done on this planet. Anyone know any NAZI communists? I am sure Hitler and company would love going red. Her delusions are growing. She begs me to come and get her, says I know where she is, and even though I told her I would not fuck her with Joe Gilbertson’s dick, she still wants me.

Undaunted by her many lies and failures, and no SIGNAL, she doubles down and lies: “Frank, yes, the JAG CAN arrest. We are under martial law. They are already arresting thousands. Too bad they didn’t get you. As I said, the Law of War manual explains everything. You don’t care enough though. You are not a patriot either. Soft martial law, but martial law just the same. Full martial law is coming and fast. This is not a lie, either no matter how you try to spin it. If you were ever in the military, you should have been aware of the Law of War manual and you shame the military at the same time.”

Not sure who the Frank is she’s warning, she seems to be all Franked up. She has no problem with New Frank, but cannot untwist her knickers about Stranger Danger being Frank Stetson, not sure if she’s hung up on New Frank or Old Frank? But, I showed her the law about how JAG cannot arrest citizens unless the President orders, Biden has not, or Martial Law is enacted, Biden has not. America First knowingly lies after she read the rules for JAG that I posted.

Has anyone else heard about “thousands” being arrested? America First posted that message again yesterday, apparently the lack of a signal did not stop the arrests, in her mind, or lack thereof. While I understand free speech concepts, does publishing these lies, some of which if listened to could cause physical harm, make you proud? PBP knowingly publishes LIES, same ones repeatedly, gee, the founders would love PBP, it’s the American way first, to lie and be loved…… Not bloody likely mate. They are just lies provided by an enabler who makes money off the process. Shameful. Sinful. To be full of it is not a blessing, it’s not patriotism. It’s not the American concept of what free speech is about. These lies may seem trivial, simply taken as musings of a loon, but lies matter. Truth matters. Both can help, both can harm, but is being harmed over a lie equal to what happens with the truth. I say no and I say those who enable are just as guilty.

There is no signal. It’s a lie. There is no warning. It’s just America First. No one is getting arrested in mass arrests. JAG works military, not civilian. yada, yada, yada. All lies.

        • Tom

AF is a nut job! A real waste of time and flesh.

  3. Tom

More on Stacey Williams that Larry did not find.

First of all, Larry is using the same tactics that most serial sex abusers use, that of stating “no evidence”. Fact is, most serial sex abusers use situations designed to be “no evidence” so that when they are accused, they can say, “no evidence”.

I find it very interesting that the Trump campaign’s Karoline Leavitt says the accusations by Williams are “unequivocally false”. How can she say this when according to Larry, “there is no evidence”? And Epstein is dead. And Trump is a known serial liar. Oh, maybe that is the reason, Epstein dead and Trump will lie.

Well Larry should have looked a little further for witnesses. According to NBC news, “NBC News spoke to seven people who said they discussed the allegations with Williams from 2006 to 2022. All of them said they found Williams and her claim to be credible and consistent. Her allegation was first published in The Guardian and first broadcast by CNN. Hey Larry, did you research before you said there was no evidence or did you just get caught lying like Trump!!!

Williams says, “She said she froze because she was “deeply confused” about what was happening. At the same time, she said she believed she saw the two men smiling at each other.” THIS IS SEX ABUSER BEHAVIOR!!!

“Williams says that Trump sent her agent a postcard via courier later in 1993, an aerial view of Mar-a-Lago, his Palm Beach residence and resort. She shared it with the Guardian. In his handwriting – using what appears to be his usual black Sharpie – he wrote: “Stacey – Your home away from home. Love Donald”. SEE THE POST CARD IN THE ARTICLE!!!”

“Williams, who is 56 and a native of Pennsylvania, has shared parts of her allegation on social media posts in the past, but revealed details about the alleged encounter on a call on Monday organized by a group called Survivors for Kamala, which supports Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. The Zoom call featured actor Ashley Judd and law professor and academic Anita Hill, among others. ”

The article goes on, “Williams spoke about the allegations to at least two friends who spoke to the Guardian. One friend, who asked not to be named, said Williams told her about the alleged incident in 2005 or 2006 during a conversation in which Williams mentioned knowing Epstein, and how he had introduced her to Trump. The friend specifically remembers Williams telling her that she had been groped by Trump. Epstein was not a household name at the time, but the friend would later recall the anecdote when the Epstein scandal erupted.

“What I recall is that it was groping … what we would call feeling someone up,” the friend said.

Ally Gutwillinger, another longtime friend, said Williams told her about the alleged incident in 2015. Gutwillinger remembers the timing because Trump had announced that he was running for president.

“I went to her house sometime in that week and I saw a postcard of Mar-a-Lago and I said: ‘What’s this?’ and she said ‘Turn it over,’” Gutwillinger said. “She said something like: ‘He’s vile, he groped me in Trump Tower.’”

AND IF THE ARTICLE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU LARRY, “CNN has spoken to three friends of Williams, who each said that she told them about the incident with Trump and Epstein, in 2006, in 2015 and in 2018, respectively. ” SEE *https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/23/donald-trump-accuser-stacey-williams-jeffrey-epstein*

AGAIN, LARRY IS USING SERIAL SEX ABUSER TACTICS TO TRY TO GET THE READER TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY ON TRUMP’S SEX ABUSES. MAKES ME WONDER WHO LARRY REALLY IS?

    • larry Horist

Tom … You seem to have lost both your composure and your mind. I shall pray for you…”Forgive him Lord, he knows not of what (or whom) he speaks.”

      • Tom

What a stupid response Larry. Is this the best you can do!?? Pathetic!!! Why don’t you write something constructive that details where you disagree. The fact is that I gave the links to the evidence that you say does not exist! I have uncovered that there is evidence to support her testimony of being groped – and it just points to your shoddy research as well as your crooked, biased and spun writing. It only took me ten minutes. But when you start an article being biased and then insert phrases meant to direct your reader’s response like “no evidence” you deserve to have your shoddy reporting refuted.

So Larry, have some balls and tell me what I wrote that was wrong. I will enjoy giving you another journalistic beating!!!

Time for Larry to be honest about his writing and stop manipulating the story!!! You see Larry, all of this helps you to be better.

Thank you for your prayers! How do you know that my rating system and writings that detail what you do not tell your readers is not already the answer to your prayers. God is more concerned about your soul than the crooked crap you write! 🙂

    • Americafirst

Tom so are you = using serial sex abuser tactics. You are a sex abuser, aren’t you? Accuse someone and it comes back around on you. You know what it feels like and accuse others to take away from your own crimes. No way on God’s earth will I ever believe you are not an abuser. You have to be with how you set up your book above. You cannot ever be trusted or believed again. You did that to yourself, too. I say again, PROVE Trump groped that woman. Prove it. That is always what you say to me and others, so, do what you say and prove it. Go ahead coward. Low class and low life – that is exactly what you and I might add, so is Danger man. You both are cut from the same cloth. So, do it! Prove Trump is a rapist. Prove it! Show us you are a man of your word and your Hitler methods.

      • stranger danger

Not that Tom needs support, but apparently America First believes if somebody accuses someone, even with iron-clad evidence, then that proves that the first somebody is guilty of the exact same crime, and then some. Fascinating, but stupid. Saying you are an idiot does not make me an idiot. Does not even make you one in that case. If I say you are black, that does not make me black. Silly logic.

Speaking of silly, America First says: “ I say again, PROVE Trump groped that woman. Prove it.” Silly because at this point, if she has not read the news, if she has not seen the liability case results — guilty. And if, as was recommended to her, not read the transcripts of the case —- that’s on her. She asked, she was told exactly where to look and she did not.

BUT because America First opened the door and so desperately yearns for in-depth details how Donald J. Trump:
        • Got her alone in a dressing room
        • Shoved her up against the wall.
        • Slammed her head
        • Pinned her
        • Pulled up her skirt
        • Pulled down her pantyhose
        • Reached inside her panties
        • And shoved his pig finger up her vagina

I will leave that part off from the transcripts. These are some of the court transcripts from the EJ Carroll trial. They are facts on the record that Trump did not refute or provide counter-evidence in court, or sue for liable and defamation. Well, he did sue for defamation, but got shot down as frivolous. The jury believed Carroll. The jury did not believe Trump and held him liable for big bucks. It’s from the NYT and I have made some edits for effect, as in cut out some boring stuff in the middle.

““I was ashamed. I thought it was my fault,” she said, describing how she had initially been laughing and joking with Mr. Trump after she ran into him at Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan. “It was high comedy. It was funny, and then to have it turn into the …” Her voice then trailed off.

“I am here because Donald Trump raped me, and when I wrote about it, he said it didn’t happen,” Ms. Carroll said. “He lied and shattered my reputation, and I am here to try to get my life back.”

“He came through the door and he said, ‘Hey, you are that advice lady,’” she testified, adding that she replied, “Hey, you’re that real estate tycoon.”

She said she was delighted when he asked for her help selecting a gift for a woman. “I love to give advice, and here was Donald Trump asking me for advice about buying a present,” Ms. Carroll testified. “It was a wonderful prospect for me.”

They made their way to the lingerie section, where Mr. Trump found a bodysuit, directing her to “go put this on.” She declined and said he should put it on instead. She recalled how he motioned her over to a dressing room; she said did not see anybody else in the area.

Once they were inside, Mr. Trump immediately shut the door, and the sexual assault began, she said.

“I was extremely confused and suddenly realizing that what I thought was happening was not happening,” Ms. Carroll said. She said she didn’t want to anger Mr. Trump, explaining, “I didn’t want to make a scene.”

She said she pushed him back and he again shoved her against the wall, banging her head. She described how Mr. Trump used his weight to hold her against the wall, then pulled down her tights. Ms. Carroll grew emotional as she testified. “I was pushing him back,” she said. “I was almost too frightened to think if I was afraid or not,” she added later.

“His fingers went into my vagina, which was extremely painful,” Ms. Carroll testified. Then, she said, he inserted his penis. She testified that she had not had sex since.

After the attack, Ms. Carroll said, she fled Bergdorf’s onto Fifth Avenue in a state of shock. She said she blamed herself afterward, saying her decision to go into the dressing room was “very stupid.”

Ms. Carroll testified that she told two friends about her experience within a day of the attack. One, Lisa Birnbach, the author and journalist, told her she had been raped and that she needed to go to the police. A second friend, Carol Martin, told her not to tell anyone because Mr. Trump was powerful and had a team of lawyers who would bury her.
“I was frightened of Donald Trump,” she explained.

Ms. Carroll said “visions” of the incident filled her mind repeatedly over the years. “I’ve had them ever since the attack. They were more frequent right after the attack, and they stayed,” Ms. Carroll said.

She said that the experience had robbed her of an essential sense of possibility.

“I am a happy person, basically, but I’m aware that I have lost out on one of the glorious experiences of any human being,” Ms. Carroll said. “Being in love with somebody else, making dinner with them, walking the dog together.”
“I don’t have that,” she said.” NYT 4/23

Dangerous stranger – thanks a lot! You are also a master of hate and hurt. Proud of your lying despicable self? Admit it – you absolutely hate me because I tell the REAL truth, and you can’t. You really know how to hurt people and will not allow anyone to get back at you even if you make things up and hate all women, maybe yourself, too. You need a strait jacket, you smug low life cad! AND, yes, JAG can arrest citizens. We ARE under martial law under wartime now. Full martial law is coming. You lied again about that. Please get a copy of the Law of War manual from the military. That does prove what I said. You tried to make all the others think I am delusional and made that up. WRONG, buster, wrong! We all see what a damned liar you really are. You won’t get that copy because you are also afraid of being made to look wrong. Also, because you won’t do the “proof” like you always demand from us. You are a do as I say, not as I do mental case! As I said before to you, if you don’t like what I have to offer here, come get me, coward! COWARD!

As expected, when faced with the verbatim’s and transcript quotes, America First turns it back on the author blaming him for lying, blaming women, hate, and more. She denies the court testimony as the truth that held Donald J. Trump liable for the digital rape of EJ Carroll. She then dribbles on about being under martial law, thousands of arrests, yada, yada, yada, insane

BUT, because she asked, there were almost a dozen witnesses in the Trump – EJ Carroll trial that he lost, lost badly. Along with EJ Carrol, America First can now deny their truthful testimony too. Here’s what they said:

Lisa Birnbach: A writer and longtime friend of Carroll
            What she said
She testified that Carroll called her in the early evening one spring night in 1996 and told her that she had just left Bergdorf, where she had encountered Trump, who assaulted her in a dressing room, pulling down her tights and penetrating her with his penis. Birnbach said she told Carroll that Trump had raped her and advised her to report the incident to the police.

Carol Martin:” A retired journalist and a longtime friend and former co-worker of Carroll
            What she said
According to Martin, Carroll came to her a day or two after the alleged incident and told her about it. “She said, ‘Trump attacked me,’” Martin said, recalling that Carroll was visibly upset. “I was completely floored,” Martin said. She said she cautioned Carroll against taking any steps in response to the incident “because it was Donald Trump and he had a lot of attorneys and he would bury her.”

Cheryl Beall: A former employee of Bergdorf Goodman who worked on the sixth floor
            What she said
She testified that on Thursday evenings during the 1990s, the sixth floor of the luxury department store wasn’t very busy, that an attendant wasn’t always present in the lingerie department and that the dressing rooms were sometimes unlocked.

Robert Salerno: A former employee of Bergdorf Goodman
            What he said
He testified that, in the 1990s, Bergdorf remained open late on Thursday evenings and that he didn’t think there were security cameras on the sixth floor.

Jessica Leeds: A retired businesswoman from Asheville, North Carolina
            What she said
She testified that in the late 1970s, she randomly encountered Trump on an airplane when the two were seated next to each other. According to Leeds, Trump sexually assaulted her during the flight, groping her breasts and attempting to put his hand up her skirt.

Natasha Stoynoff: A former People magazine reporter
            What she said
She testified that in 2005 she traveled to Mar-a-Lago to write a story about the upcoming one-year wedding anniversary of Trump and his wife, Melania. Finding herself alone in a room with Trump, Stoynoff said, he pushed her against a wall and started kissing her without her consent.

Cande Carroll: E. Jean Carroll’s sister
            What she said
Cande Carroll testified that she and her sister rarely spoke to their parents about negative experiences and that their parents regularly encouraged them to present themselves publicly “with a positive attitude.” Cande also said she and her sister “never” spoke to each other about personal problems while they were growing up. She learned about the alleged rape, she said, by reading an excerpt of E. Jean’s book that was published in New York Magazine. Asked why it didn’t surprise her that her sister hadn’t told her about the incident earlier, she said: “She just wouldn’t have. We didn’t talk about those things.”

Leslie Lebowitz: A clinical psychologist who interviewed Carroll
            What she said
She said Carroll suffers from several psychological conditions attributable to the alleged rape, including “a diminishment in her ability to feel positive about herself” and “avoidant behaviors which have led to her inability to maintain a romantic life.”

Ashlee Humphreys: An associate professor at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrated Marketing Communication
            What she said
She testified that the cost of repairing Carroll’s reputation due to the remarks Trump made about her would be up to $2.76 million.

Roberta Myers: The former editor-in-chief of Elle magazine
            What she said
She oversaw Elle for many of the years during which Carroll’s advice column appeared in the magazine. She testified that Carroll was “very important to the brand” and that her column was hugely popular.

Dear, he was measured, he was weighed, and he came up short. He did not have the goods, EJ did. He was held liable for sexual abuse, defamation, and when he sued for defamation over the term RAPE, the judge, on the record, tossed the case telling him it was DIGITAL RAPE and only NY’s rape law that requires a penis insertion saved Trump from the RAPE charge that ANY common sense person, except people like America First, would see as RAPE.

For a person raped at a tender age, gee, any memories? But still no sympathy or belief for EJ Carroll. Well, dear, I hope people treated you better in your case.

        • Americafirst

Were you there, SD? Did you see it happen? Did you hear it? Or were you the one that did that to her, if it really happened? I would not put it past you to rape as many people as you can and that is both sexes!

          • stranger danger

In the first playing of the EJ Carroll court case verbatim’s where she explained what happened, was backup up by a dozen witnesses, and the jury concluded Turnip was guilty, guilty, liable, and when Trump countersued on defamation over the use of the word “RAPE,” and the judge blew him off saying “only the NYS rape law requiring a penis insertion stops a guilty rape charge as any commonplace sense of what Trump did was digital rape, rape, rape,” ===== well, America First when faced with the verbatim’s and transcript quotes, turned it back on the author blaming him for lying, blaming women, hate, and more. She denies the court testimony as the truth that held Donald J. Trump liable for the digital rape of EJ Carroll. She then dribbles on about being under martial law, thousands of arrests, yada, yada, yada, insane.

When hearing the witness summary, America First concludes: “Were you there, SD? Did you see it happen? Did you hear it? Or were you the one that did that to her, if it really happened” meaning in America First’s fractured fairytale of reality, she would let most criminals off in a witness was not in the room. Gee, that ends most rape crimes. Of course, when faced with the 1/6 tapes, American First probably says: “nah, no violence or weapons there.”

Then she once again turns it back on the commentor saying “I would not put it past you to rape as many people as you can and that is both sexes!” Wow, now she adds gay rape to my long list of fabricated America First LIES. This old lady is a couple bricks shy of a wall. Not name calling, based on the evidence of her delusions. Come on, someone tell me I am wrong?

Nope, Trump did it. He got caught, tried, and found liable. And someday he will pay something after dragging this out to the last penny. Hey, it’s his kids inheritance affected, he will be fine. Whattta guy.

Some rich guys just think their money allows them to do what they want, exert physical control over others without recrimination or penalty. Most are really nice people, but a few… Kavanaugh, for example, I went to school there. Most folks nice, some incredible super people. But there was a crowd, not evil per se, just spoiled and believing in a fake superiority. I came from where the victim came from, an outsider, and we often were treated poorly by this crowd just based on the fact that we were not from that “crowd.” Based on my experiences there, I could easily see him being involved. Not that he was, not that given it’s High School, it was that bad in the scheme of things, but I most certainly saw stuff approaching that and stopped it. Having money does not give you more rights than others.

Larry, really, ignore both party’s advertising hype during the closing hours before an election. 30 days before seems pretty extreme. Maybe reduce the number to 3 days and the public might take your comment under advisement.
Think of how many millions of donors’ contributions are spent during your 30 day moratorium on listening or watching each party throw a Hail Mary and cross their fingers
Undecided voters would be left in the lurch. Maybe confusion would keep them home on Election Day. Seriously Larry, you must agree your strategy is ill fated. People are not about to turn off their phones and TVs for 30 days hiatus from what has become reality TV Entertainment since Trump’s appearance at stage right exit.
Your advice, no doubt, is all well and good if one has already decided which side they’re taking. Then, the last 30 days of constant bombardment from both party’s advertising is enough for critical mass consequences from temperament stretched too far.
It’s now the Friday afternoon before Tuesday’s, some would say solution and others say apocalyptic. It’s not overt until the last legal charge has been decided. And that’s on Trump’s head, he started having lawyers and courts becoming involved.
What a relief from Trump’s presence everywhere complaining and ranting when he finally departs the political arena and settles anywhere off camera and out of ear shot. Past Presidents have not made a mischief of themselves to the extreme degree that Trump has. Question is what will Trump do in the event of his winning or losing this election. He represents a loose cannon on the deck of the ship of state. His last 30 days have not strengthened his place in this race.

  5. AC

Watching this election it’s the deep and wide chasm separating the two candidates that is unprecedented in the American Experiment. Not since this country’s Civil War drove geographical and philosophical wedge between America’s Northern States and Southern State has this nation’s citizens found themselves as greatly oppositional toward each-other. Now 160 some years later our division is not regionally split where there is a Mason-Dixon Line that clearly distinguished where people were who had an opposing orientation serious enough that war became inevitable. The present situation, hopefully, is not close to that disastrous point. Although, I have heard indications of saber rattling when tension rise and tempers get short.
Given Trump’s verbal attacks on individuals and promises of retribution against perceived enemies his angry rhetoric has roused his followers into action. Because Trump’s politics sit firmly on the camp on the right it’s not a great stretch in thinking that any violent aggression would come from the right.
The chasm laying between the two encampments can be crossed provided there are a number of brave and industrious souls from both camps willing and able in the skill of bridge building.
However, on the right we have former President Trump whose personality is well established and known far and wide as pugnacious and prone to over stretch his facts behind truthfulness
Then, we see Vice-President Harris defending the political left flank across our philosophical chasm. If those interested in knowing both candidates’ personalities, characters, and policy preference.
A study of Trump’s story that includes his characteristics in total, which may or may not give evidence proving his fitness level for the POTUS position, if he wins the election, legally according to the US Constitution’d provisions.
Contrastistimg VP Harris’ qualifications with Trump’s record to date is like deciding which one is better liked between an apple (Harris)
and a lime (Trump). Their differences are many besides the obvious one, gender and age. The majority will not bother with deciding on any other qualification apart from their Party affiliation. Simple and quick as it gets. More conscientious voters from the right and the left tend toward the moderate or middle on the political spectrum. They ultimately choose the candidate they believe will best fill the President’s responsibilities .
This election’s candidates definitely occupy the most wide spread positions on each and every policy topic. Should Trump win who knows what his presidency will look like. His talk is of volatility and retribution. He promised he will be a dictator his first day. Not the American way it seems to me. Then, if Harris managed a win, her’s will be a first in our nation’s history. The first woman of color to be President, would be a giant step forward in the eyes of women world wide. She would be under intense scrutiny from men and women on the right. Men on the left voted for her with their encouragement and praise.
You can see a marked contrast from Trump’s bombast and scorched earth approach typical for Trump and sick self interest motivation, which does not bode well for this nations fight for racial equality, equality in our justice department, economic strength over price inflation, international tension from multiple waring regions, and greater entrenchment seen with various division forces within our borders. Of course, a big item is the emigration laws and the enforcement of them. Humanely secure our boarders and give all people non- prejudicial respectful treatment at our boarder with Mexico.
It’s doubtful that a Trump presidency would spend any attention on human rights and dignity assurances for people intending to immigrate into the country in a civil manner. Maybe immigration at crossings on our southern boarder will drop off when the word circulates that Trump’s rules could mean death for men, women, and their children in America.
Harris shows her humanity and caring diligence in every effort made to uphold her policies dealing with inflation in our economy, price gouging in our markets, and speaking strength to the world.
Which one Trump or Harris is the same one who speaks coherently in full sentences. Which of the two more fully represents American normality and conventional responses when questioned. Is Trump or Harris the better sales representative responsible for US foreign affairs.
I know your answers for the above questions. This last question I believe your answer will not be Harris.
Who is capable of winning the nation’s trust through action and not rhetoric spin?

    • Tom

      You are so right AC!

Larry is attempting to get his readers not to listen to Trump’s absurd speeches and rants for the last 30 days. Larry knows that in the last 30 days Trump’s speeches and comments have gotten more hateful.

  6. Americafirst

I do not blame the author which is Larry. You are totally to blame; you are a demon from Hell!

  7. AC

What’s next, recommending voters disregard a candidate’s own words said in that period. Canidates sincerely believe a last ditch campaign push supposedly seen and heard by millions just days before an election could sway the voter’s choice. if voters follow Larry’s recommendation and observe FCPC’s antiquated advice to disregard election campaign info received and any report of relevant happenings in the news pertinent to a specific candidate within the final 30 day period before one’s election day ballot completion, then isn’t it plain idiocy for election campaigns to throw millions of donors’ dollars into media ads just days before November’s first Tuesday in an election year.
Trump will never go along with Larry’s notion. The thinking, if thinking happens to apply here, it’s never over until the large lady sings. Like in an operatic stage production the curtain comes down only after the last note of the Finale’ is heard. Actors in their places and the orchestra performs into the last measure. So, too, is an election run until the last vote is cast by the last voter casting a ballot before end of voting in the Pacific Time Zone. However, in the case of elections, of late in the USA, the large lady may not appear right away. She may have to wait in the wings until that time when the score is settled among the characters in play. a repeat of 2020 and Trump’s claim of Democrat doing shenanigans. Should he not win. What will happen then?
Even, you, Larry, would not support a Trump lead MAGA revolt demanding EC change its count. You must walk your talk in support of democracy and country and not stick with the Republican rebels running amuck flying the MAGA Flag.

  1. Remember the title: “More woman victimization from the left.” The author, without a shred of evidence, presumes that there are…
