The Wife of Fleeing Suspect Renee Good Blames Herself for Shooting

&NewLine;<p>A graphic video has surfaced where the wife of fleeing suspect Renee Good seems to be blame herself for Good’s killing at the hands of an ICE agent&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>In the video&comma; a blood-covered woman who identified herself as the Good’s wife can be seen distraught and sobbing just steps from Good’s wrecked car in Minneapolis Wednesday morning&comma; as a neighbor who heard the commotion asked her what happened&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I made her come down here&comma; it’s my fault&comma;” the woman said through sobs&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;They just shot my wife&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;They shot her in the head&period; I have a 6-year-old in school&comma;” she appeared to say&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Good was shot dead while behind the wheel in an encounter with ICE agents&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>An agent who was clipped by her car drew a handgun and fired three shots at close range&comma; killing Good and causing her vehicle to speed out of control and crash down the block&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The Department of Homeland Security was quick to call the 37-year-old mother a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;domestic terrorist” and accused her of trying to kill the federal agent&comma; while arguing the officer acted in justified self-defense&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Current reporting indicates that Good was allegedly part of a group of protesters who had been &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;stalking and impeding” ICE agents throughout the day&period; DHS Secretary Kristi Noem added that Good &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;weaponized” her car&period; The Secretary also said that the officer involved was struck by the vehicle and transported to a hospital&comma; where he was treated and later released&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The woman who stated she was Good’s wife was seen in numerous other clips from before and after the deadly incident&period; Just before the gunshots were heard&comma; she was seen closely following federal agents and filming them&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>She was also standing near the car when the shots rang out and didn’t seem to notice that anything had happened until the vehicle sped away and crashed&period; She sprinted after the car soon after&comma; while other photos from the scene showed her trying to help Good as she lay bleeding out in the driver’s seat&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Good had described herself as a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;wife and mom” on social media&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>She also called herself a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;poet and writer” and a &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;sh–ty guitar strummer from Colorado&semi; experiencing Minneapolis&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Her mother called her &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;one of the kindest people I’ve ever known” after learning of her death&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;She was extremely compassionate&period; She’s taken care of people all her life&period; She was loving&comma; forgiving and affectionate&period; She was an amazing human being&comma;” her mother&comma; Donna Ganger&comma;&nbsp&semi;told the Star Tribune&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Good’s supposed wife claimed they were new to the area and didn’t have anybody to call when the neighbor asked if she needed help&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>She also asked that somebody retrieve a leash from the wrecked car so that she could keep a hand on her dog standing nearby&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The numerous federal agents nearby all appeared to be ignoring her&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The shooting comes amid heightened tensions between federal immigration authorities and Minneapolis officials&comma; after DHS deployed thousands of additional officers to the area in recent days&comma; sparking protests and backlash from city leaders&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The White House and DHS continue to describe the incident as an act of domestic terrorism and said there has been a rise in vehicle-ramming attacks against federal officers nationwide in recent weeks&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;This must stop&comma;&&num;8221&semi; Secretary Noem said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>She added that elected officials should denounce violence against law enforcement&comma; arguing the shooting was the result of escalating rhetoric targeting federal officers&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Meanwhile&comma; Vice President JD Vance in a scathing news briefing on Thursday blasted the news media for their coverage of the incident&period; The VP insisted that Good had tried ram the ICE officer with her car as he picked on a CNN headline that said&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Outrage after ICE officer kills US citizen in Minneapolis” as typical of misleading coverage in the &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;corporate media&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Clearly angry&comma; Vance fumed&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;This was an attack on law and order&period; This was an attack on the American people&period; The way that the media by and large has reported this story has been an&nbsp&semi;<em>absolute disgrace<&sol;em>&nbsp&semi;and it puts our law enforcement officers at risk every single day&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;
