<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice is reportedly being considered as a potential running mate for presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Once described by <em>Newsweek</em> as &#8220;Obama’s right-hand woman,&#8221; Rice worked directly with Biden for years during her tenure as UN Ambassador (2009-2013) and National Security Adviser (2013-2017).</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">“I know they have a good relationship &#8211; perhaps the best relationship of anyone on the list,” said a source close to the Biden campaign. “They’ve known each other for years, they’ve worked alongside each other and she’s been tested in a way that a lot of folks on the list just haven’t been.”</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Biden has already promised to choose a female running mate, and Rice would satisfy voters&#8217; demands for a black Vice President. </span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">“Everyone automatically thinks of Kamala [Harris] when they think he needs to pick a woman of color,” said another source. “But if you look at Susan’s credentials, she makes perfect sense. She’s a rock star who has the confidence, stature, and gravitas to be vice president.”</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Other options for Biden include Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA), Sen. Kamala Harris (CA), Rep. Val Demings (FL), Rep. Tammy Duckworth (IL), and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Before joining the UN, Susan Rice served on President Bill Clinton’s national security council (1993-1997) and served as Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs at the State Department (1997-2001). She advised presidential nominees Michael Dukakis, John Kerry, and Barack Obama.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Rice was considered as a replacement for outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2012 until her lies about Benghazi were exposed. </span><span class="s1">Like Clinton, Rice claimed the attack was the result of a protest turned violent </span><span class="s1">rather than the terrorist attack she knew it was. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">As we have argued in past articles, the Obama Administration clearly lied about Benghazi to protect his bid for re-election in 2012. </span></strong></p>
<p>Rice was caught lying again in 2017 when the <span class="s1">Khan Shaykun chemical attack proved that Syria had not given up its chemical weapons as she had claimed. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">More recently, she was exposed as one of several Obama officials who attempted to “unmask” the identities of Trump transition officials </span><span class="s1">named in foreign surveillance records (Biden also submitted unmasking requests). </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">On President Trump’s Inauguration Day, Rice sent herself an email containing then-FBI Director James Comey’s inappropriate suggestion that Obama withhold “sensitive information related to Russia” from Trump’s incoming National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. <em>And we all know how that played out.</em></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Later, Rice would have the audacity to claim that the Trump Administration disliked her due to her ‘race and gender.’ </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Author’s Note: </b>Susan Rice is one of the least honest &#8211; or most loyal &#8211; Obama cronies. She is a criminal who deserves to be in jail. </span></p>
