<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;" align="center">In a recent interview with <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">BuzzFeed</em> <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">news</em>, Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood, admitted that the organization may be in major trouble. ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;The stakes have become quite clear recently, and they&rsquo;re very high,&rdquo; said Richards to <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">BuzzFeed News.</em> &ldquo;The patients I talk to are terrified they&rsquo;re going to lose their access to health care, and docs and clinicians are terrified that this Senate is going block the women with the least access to health care from getting any at all.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">President Trump has promised to defund Planned Parenthood and in an act of desperation, the organization has switched its messaging to appear as though the clinics rarely perform abortions. Recent ads focus on their &ldquo;other&rdquo; services like cancer screenings, STI tests, and contraceptives.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Highlighting areas like these is part of a post-election shift back to the center for Planned Parenthood. Within months of the presidential election, the women&rsquo;s health provider overhauled its strategy from campaigning for federal coverage of abortions to running ads in which a patient tells a story of a Planned Parenthood nurse telling her not to have an abortion,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Buzzfeed.</em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Richards has called this sudden change in marketing strategy as &ldquo;an education campaign&rdquo; to &ldquo;fill in a picture for people&rdquo; ;about their non-abortion services.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">But, the truth is Planned Parenthood is just trying to hide the fact that abortion is where it makes its real money.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">86% of its revenue is derived from doing these procedures, even though only 97% of the organization&rsquo;s clinics don&rsquo;t offer these services. ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Another argument made by those who support Planned Parenthood is that the other community healthcare centers can&rsquo;t &ldquo;successfully absorb Planned Parenthood&rsquo;s&rdquo; patients.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;A number of physicians and clinic directors at non-Planned Parenthood federally qualified health centers in the rest of his district said the four health centers would not be able to successfully absorb Planned Parenthood&rsquo;s roughly 6,000 patients at their two clinics in Ryan&rsquo;s district. Organizations like Wisconsin National Right to Life Commission insist nonprofit pregnancy-care organizations can pick up the slack post-defunding, though many of these do not provide STD testing or contraception,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Buzzfeed.</em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">However, this is not the case. There are other options that are given on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services ;website.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Our goal is making sure women get the kind of care they need and we believe that can best be achieved by putting money into community health centers, which provide similar services as Planned Parenthood but vastly outnumber them,&rdquo; said Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">While, Richards argues that it would be a healthcare crisis if Planned Parenthood is defunded.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;We&rsquo;ve got a lot of work we&rsquo;re doing on contingency,&rdquo; said Richards to Buzzfeed. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> ;</span>&ldquo;but there&rsquo;s no way to overstate what a health care crisis this would be for women if they were blocked from going to Planned Parenthood.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In response to Planned Parenthood&rsquo;s attempt to be seen as more than abortion clinics, The Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) is releasing ads to expose the organization for what it really is. ;</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Live Action, a human rights organization against abortion, does ongoing investigations on Planned Parenthood.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Live Action&rsquo;s new video ;series ;titled, &ldquo;Planned Parenthood: The Abortion Corporation,&rdquo; reveals former managers of Planned Parenthood affiliates discussing that most of their clinics did not offer OB/GYN services, pre-natal, and other basic healthcare services for women,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Breitbart.</em> &ldquo;Despite the fact that Planned Parenthood has marketed its &ldquo;pre-natal services,&rdquo; Live Action&rsquo;s undercover investigators were turned away for those services at 92 different facilities where the staff said they do not provide pre-natal care, but do specialize in abortions.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So will the federal government finally defund Planned Parenthood?  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The house is supposed to vote on a resolution that would remove Obama&rsquo;s regulation halting the government from defunding organizations based on political reasons.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;The House Rules Committee passed the resolution Tuesday along a party-line vote, 7-4, and the full House will likely vote on it later this week,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">The Hill.</em> ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Now that Republicans have majorities in both chambers and a GOP president, they&rsquo;re facing increased pressure from anti-abortion groups to move quickly on their promises to cut funds to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So, things are not looking good for the pro-abortion organization.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;The American people elected a president and Congress committed to stopping taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion businesses,&rdquo; says Marjorie Jones ;Dannenfelser, president of SBA List. &ldquo;We urge Congress to continue working towards this goal. Planned Parenthood is a profit-driven, abortion-centered business that does not need or deserve taxpayer dollars, and redirecting their taxpayer funding to community health centers would be a win for women&rsquo;s health.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> ;<strong>Author&rsquo;s note:</strong> If Planned Parenthood is defunded, this doesn&rsquo;t mean women are barred from visiting these clinics. The organization is causing hysteria by creating a false narrative that they are the only women&rsquo;s healthcare provider. If the organization would stop killing babies, then it would likely keep getting federal funding.</p>
