Terrorist Attack in NYC Injures 4, Terrorist in Custody

<p>The New York Police have a suspect in custody after a bomb exploded under the New York Port Authority&comma; injuring the terrorist and 3 others&period; None of the injuries was life threatening&period; The man had the explosive strapped to his body&comma; and he had burns to his hands and abdomen&period; The others injured were suffering from ringing in the ears and headaches&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The police have identified the man as Akayed Ullah&comma; a 27-year-old&comma; who lived in Brooklyn&period; He is possible of Bangladesh&nbsp&semi;origin&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The attack happened in an underground passageway&comma; under 42nd street between 7th and 8th avenues &lpar;near Times Square&rpar;&period; The passageway&nbsp&semi;was crowded and filled with black smoke from the explosion&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Officials said that he was inspired by the Islamic State&comma; but they had not found any direct connection to them yet&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It is not clear at this time if the bomb was intended to go off at this point or was accidentally discharged prematurely&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
