<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;" align="center">Not only will the Obamacare repeal bill improve the healthcare system, but it will also eliminate Planned Parenthood taxpayer funding.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Planned Parenthood legislation would be in our reconciliation bill,&rdquo; said House speaker Paul Ryan in response to the question about if Congress would be defunding Planned Parenthood.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Last year, the GOP passed similar legislation but it was vetoed by President Obama. The bill repealed sections of Obamacare, while also defunding the organization. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> ;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This was in the wake of the disturbing undercover video footage leaked revealing that Planned Parenthood not only profits off selling fetuses after performing abortions, but also has questionable moral standards.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">One of the videos was particularly cringe-worthy, where President of the Planned Parenthood Medical Director&#8217;s Council, Mary Gatter discussed the &ldquo;less crunchy&rdquo; techniques to remove the fetuses to keep them better intact for selling.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">However, it finally looks like the organization will be losing federal funding, after receiving $553 million in funding from taxpayers last year.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;The Planned Parenthood defunding measure will be attached to what is known as a budget ;reconciliation ;bill, which is a way for the House to pass a federal budget while bypassing a Senate filibuster and limiting the amount of time the bill can be debated. If the reconciliation bill passes the House and a simple majority in the Senate, it will go to the president&#8217;s desk for him to sign,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">LifeSite News.</em> &ldquo;Upcoming ;budget reconciliation legislation will ;include a provision to reallocate taxpayer funding away from Planned Parenthood to comprehensive health care centers.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The current Obamacare repeal bill will need to get the signature of the soon to be president Trump, who is expected to sign. Trump pledged on his campaign trail to defund Planned Parenthood.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The GOP and Ryan have been applauded for reallocating the funds from the reproductive health services organization, which performs over 300,000 abortions a year. The group consistently claims that abortion is only 3% of their entire services, but 94% of their pregnancy-related services are abortion according to the Planned Parenthood&rsquo; annual report.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Today&rsquo;s commitment by Speaker ;Ryan ;to re-direct the abortion giant&rsquo;s taxpayer funding to community health centers is a victory for women&rsquo;s health care,&rdquo; said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List in a statement. &ldquo;Community health centers provide far more services than Planned Parenthood and outnumber them 20 to 1 nationwide. We commend Speaker ;Paul Ryan ;on his continued resolve to fund women&rsquo;s health care, not abortion.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Planned Parenthood took this as a declaration of war.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Ok folks &#8211; the fight is on &#8211; Paul Ryan says defunding Planned Parenthood in first congressional bill &#8211; going to take us all to stop,&rdquo; tweeted Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of Planned Parenthood. ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Well, the organization needs to prepare for some strong opposition.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;We are very excited about getting to work and hitting the ground running in 2017 to put this country back on track,&#8221; said Ryan following a meeting with Trump in December. It looks like defunding Planned Parenthood is one of the first steps on the GOP&rsquo;s agenda.</p>
