Seattle Police to Residents: We Can’t Protect You

The Seattle Police Department won’t be protecting residents or their property during demonstrations this weekend thanks to a new ordinance blocking the use of pepper spray and other non-lethal munitions.

“The legislation gives officers NO ability to safely intercede to preserve property in the midst of a large, violent crowd,” wrote Chief of Police Carmen Best in a letter to residents. “Seattle Police will have an adjusted deployment in response to any demonstrations this weekend – as I will never ask our officers to risk their personal safety to protect property without the tools to do so in a safe way.”

This is a shocking development for Seattle, especially after they witnessed the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) and the violent crimes spawned by the lack of a police presence.

In a separate letter to the City Council, Best warned of the coming violence:

“It is a fact that there are groups and individuals who are intent on destruction in our City,” she wrote, citing  events on July 19th and 22nd that “included wide-scale property destruction and attacks on officers, injuring more than a dozen, some significantly.”

Several demonstrations are planned for this weekend, likely involving the same “violent actors from recent days,” continued Best. “There is no reason not to assume we will continue to experience property destruction, arson, looting, and attempts to injure additional officers throughout the weekend and beyond.”

It would be “reckless” for the SPD to “confront this level of violence” without the tools “they have been trained to use to protect the community and themselves,” she wrote, adding that the ordinance will also prevent SWAT teams from carrying less-lethal tools.

“As the City Council’s legislation goes into effect, it will create even more dangerous circumstances for our officers to intervene using what they have left – riot shields and riot batons.”

All precinct buildings in the city are being boarded up to protect against potential damage from protestors.

Author’s Note: Seattle will be lucky if property damage is the only violence to occur this weekend. I expect to see rape, burglary, homicide, and other crimes increase until the ordinance is overturned.

Lol! To those citizens of Seattle who still retain some semblance of sanity – get out now or you will regret it. Remember you and your neighbors voted for this and now you have it. The BLMKKK and Antifa murderers will be out in full force – if you stay, arm up and video ALL interactions.

It’s as if we are watching a city commit suicide by letting these agitators take over. What will they have when it’s done? Nothing. Who will deliver food and goods? Nobody. The city is now being turned into a huge ghetto and the silent majority let it happen. No bailouts for this city, ever.

Washington State and Seattle are handing over control to domestic terrorist communists. Governor and mayor and city council are aiding and abetting acts of terrorism. They should be arrested and face trial for their crimes.

The only way to stop this idiocy is to get the democrats out of power once and for all. If people are unwilling to do that, America will cease to exist as we know it.

Let them have Seattle, burn it to the ground. And after homeowners start blowing the rioters away, then the city council can walk the streets and maintain “the law “. And all those professionals who play sports and stood by and did nothing except to bad mouth the police can play with them selves (most would have to have their mommy show them where it is).

The demand to disallow police from using effective means of fighting a riot and its destruction, from using smoke canisters, tear gas, batons, pepper spray, etc. ; is like demanding that firefighters be disallowed from using water, carbon dioxide, foam, or other EFFECTIVE means for fighting fires and its destruction !!! People making such demands only prove that they want the damages to happen ! They might next demand that ambulance attendants (Emergency Medical Service) be disallowed from using CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary-Resuscitation) and electric defibrillators on heart attack victims, because such means are “rough treatment” on people receiving those. People who resist what is most needed for helping specific problems are truly IGNORANT ; and are ARROGANT in making such ASININE demands !!!

Tell the rioters to just take up residence in the City Council offices since they are already running the show. Or take the Mayors mansion. Just move in. They own it now. Everyone else better leave. The city is lost to the lawless mob.

Apart from disputes over the windmill, there was the question of the defense of the farm. It was fully realized that though the human beings had been defeated in the Battle of the Cowshed they might make another and more determined attempt to recapture the farm and reinstate Mr. Jones. They had all the more reason for doing so because the news of their defeat had spread across the countryside and made the animals on the neighbouring farms more restive than ever. As usual, Snowball and Napoleon were in disagreement. According to Napoleon, what the animals must do was to procure firearms and train themselves in the use of them. According to Snowball, they must send out more and more pigeons and stir up rebellion among the animals on the other farms. The one argued that if rebellions happened everywhere they would have no ned to defend themselves. The animals listened first to Napoleon, then to Snowball, and could not make up their minds which was right; indeed, they always found themselves in agreement with the one who was speaking at the moment.
