<p>White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has resigned his post&comma; effective the end of next month&period; He tweeted &&num;8220&semi;It&&num;8217&semi;s been an honor &amp&semi; a privilege to serve &commat;POTUS &commat;realDonaldTrump &amp&semi; this amazing country&period; I will continue my service through August&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to the Washington Post&comma; Spicer said that he resigned to give the president a &ldquo&semi;clean slate&rdquo&semi; moving forward&period; Asked if he had any regrets&comma; Spicer answered&colon; &ldquo&semi;None&period;&rdquo&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A Fox News reports said Spicer&&num;8217&semi;s departure might be linked to President Trump&&num;8217&semi;s hiring of Wall Street financier Anthony Scaramucci as the new White House Communications director&period; Reports have circulated that Scaramucci has had less than cordial relationships with Spicer and Chief of Staff Reince Priebus&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While Spicer&&num;8217&semi;s daily briefings were prevalent during the first part of the Trump administration&comma; lately briefings have been handled by Deputy Press Secretary Sara Huckabee&comma; and have been less frequent and off camera&period; These changes were in response to the heating up of rhetoric surrounding Former FBI Director Mueller&&num;8217&semi;s independent investigation of contacts with Russia&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While a surprise to some&comma; it appears President Trump is quick to make changes when he sees a problem or an opportunity for improvement&period; This is a mark of a business style&comma; rather than a political style&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Editor&&num;8217&semi;s note<&sol;strong>&colon; We do not care to repeat all of the backbiting speculative nonsense being put out by &&num;8216&semi;anonymous sources&&num;8217&semi; in the liberal media&period; If you believe their reports the White House is in chaos&comma; all activities&nbsp&semi;are in gridlock and everyone is throwing chairs&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I suspect the reality is the occasional dust up between passionate Trump loyalists&period; But I don&&num;8217&semi;t have any actual sources either &lpar;and am not inclined to make them up&excl;&rpar;&comma; all I know is that Trump is keeping his campaign promises&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
