<p>White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has resigned his post, effective the end of next month. He tweeted &#8220;It&#8217;s been an honor &; a privilege to serve @POTUS @realDonaldTrump &; this amazing country. I will continue my service through August.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to the Washington Post, Spicer said that he resigned to give the president a &ldquo;clean slate&rdquo; moving forward. Asked if he had any regrets, Spicer answered: &ldquo;None.&rdquo;</p>
<p>A Fox News reports said Spicer&#8217;s departure might be linked to President Trump&#8217;s hiring of Wall Street financier Anthony Scaramucci as the new White House Communications director. Reports have circulated that Scaramucci has had less than cordial relationships with Spicer and Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.</p>
<p>While Spicer&#8217;s daily briefings were prevalent during the first part of the Trump administration, lately briefings have been handled by Deputy Press Secretary Sara Huckabee, and have been less frequent and off camera. These changes were in response to the heating up of rhetoric surrounding Former FBI Director Mueller&#8217;s independent investigation of contacts with Russia.</p>
<p>While a surprise to some, it appears President Trump is quick to make changes when he sees a problem or an opportunity for improvement. This is a mark of a business style, rather than a political style. ;</p>
<p><strong>Editor&#8217;s note</strong>: We do not care to repeat all of the backbiting speculative nonsense being put out by &#8216;anonymous sources&#8217; in the liberal media. If you believe their reports the White House is in chaos, all activities ;are in gridlock and everyone is throwing chairs.</p>
<p>I suspect the reality is the occasional dust up between passionate Trump loyalists. But I don&#8217;t have any actual sources either (and am not inclined to make them up!), all I know is that Trump is keeping his campaign promises.</p>
