Russia’s use of Butterfly Mines in Ukraine is a War Crime

This small, brightly coloured, plastic device known as a butterfly mine because of its shape and often mistaken as a toy by children indiscriminately kills and maims thousands of children every year. Those fortunate enough to survive face life with the loss of lower limbs, shattered dreams and a life of pain.
