Ronna McDaniel hired and fired exposes leftwing hypocrisy

Within a nanosecond of NBC’s hiring former Republican National Chairman Ronna McDaniel as a political analyst, the entire leftwing media mob went bonkers.  The unprecedented on-air outrage of the New York media elite was ultimately successful in cowing NBC top brass to reverse their decision and fire McDaniel after only one appearance on the Network.

Chuck Todd, the former host of MSNBC’s “Meet the Press” got the black ball rolling while guesting on the show he once anchored.  He claimed that McDaniel has “a credibility problem.”

(I have to digress. Can you imagine anyone complaining about another person’s credibility with less legitimacy than Chuck Todd – other than the rest of the lineup at MSNBC, that is?)

Todd said:

“There’s a reason why there are a lot of journalists at NBC News uncomfortable with this because many of our professional dealings with the RNC over the last six years have been met with gaslighting, have been met with character assassination.”

Ironically, McDaniel also appeared on “Meet the Press” ahead of Tood. The new anchor Kristen Welker began the McDaniel interview by saying it was scheduled “weeks ahead” of her being hired by NBC.  In a bit of an apology, Welker said, “This will be a news interview, and I was not involved in her hiring.”

In his later appearance on the show, Todd said:

“I think our bosses owe you (Kristen Welker) an apology for putting you in this situation. Because I don’t know what to believe. She is now a paid contributor by NBC News, so I have no idea whether any answer she gave to you was because she didn’t want to mess up her contract.”

The staff rebellion was most notable in NBC’s “Rosemary’s Baby” offspring, MSNBC.  Rachel Maddow, the network’s uber left “preachy female” (as Democrat strategist James Carville dubbed the ladies of the left) declared the hiring to be “inconceivable.”  It was so inconceivable that she declared it so repeatedly.

Maddow said that initially MSNBC management had accepted the parent company’s decision but has since changed its mind.  According to Maddow – with great emphasis and pride — MSNBC will not allow McDaniel to appear on any of the network’s shows.  She is banned … censored.

This is consistent with MSNBC’s consistent leftwing philosophy of censorship.  Maddow had previously announced – with great emphasis and pride – that the network would not cover Trump’s speeches.

Virtually the entire MSNBC lineup of leftwing personalities piled on – including Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Niccole Wallace, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jen Psaki,

MSNBC –from management to the working staff — is a disgrace to journalism, the Constitution and is a threat to the fundamentals of democracy.  They are what the media is like under tinhorn dictators.

Perhaps this is what James Carville was referring to when he accused leftwing Democrats of being “too censorious.” (That country boy knows some big words.)

Maddow claimed opposition to McDaniel is not about politics, which means it is ALL about politics – and unimaginable hypocrisy.  Lest we forget, this is the station that already has a former Republican National Chairman, Michael Steele, on its payroll.  He is acceptable for one obvious reason.  He has converted to the MSNBC playbook for the paycheck.

MSNBC is rife with other politicos playing pundits for pay.  Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has her own show on MSNBC.  Symone Sanders-Townsend, former spokesperson for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and later spokesperson for Vice President Kamala Harris, has her own show.  The list of paid “contributors” is filled with ex-political operatives from the far left.

Hiring former political personalities is not unique to MSNBC and is not new.  ABC’s George Stephanopoulos was White House Communications Director under President Clinton.

There are two possible reasons why NBC may have hired McDaniel – and only one why they fired her.  They may have initially seen the need to add balance and journalistic integrity to their reporting. (If you find that incredulous, remember I said, “may have.”)  The other is to improve their ratings against the more conservative and more balanced FOX News – which has crushed MSNBC’s ratings for years.  Apparently, MSNBC is so permeated with radical left employees that dogma trumps both ratings and journalistic principles.

In firing McDaniel, NBC lowered the nadir of leftwing media hypocrisy and political depravity – establishing that MSNBC’s commitment to censorship and one-sided propaganda is the tail that wags the dog.  Perhaps this is an example of what Democrat operative James Carville meant when he said, “There are a lot of people on the left that would rather lose and be pure because it makes them feel good, it makes them feel superior.”

To paraphrase the Washington Post tagline, “Journalism dies in broad daylight.”

So, there ‘tis.
