President Trump has been racking up a number of wins recently.

Win Number One

It is no exaggeration to say that President Trump returned from the NATO meeting in triumph. Most notably, every member nation—except Spain—agreed to increase their contribution to NATO to five percent of GDP. In his first term, Trump had browbeaten member nations into meeting their two percent commitment in his previous term. President Biden, by contrast, failed to raise the issue during his four years in office. The new funding will provide trillions of dollars for the defense of Europe – including critical military aid to Ukraine. For those who believe Trump is too soft on Vladimir Putin (me included), this stands as a strong affront to the Russian madman, who is reportedly apoplectic over a reinvigorated NATO.

In addition to the funding breakthrough, Trump was met with high praise from many world leaders – most notably NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Trump’s strike on Iran was also widely praised. This should put to rest the Democrats’ false narrative that Trump is anti-NATO and would seek to dismantle the Alliance. Despite his tough rhetoric on funding, I’ve long maintained that Trump supports a strong NATO and has never had any intention of withdrawing the United States – even if he could. Supporting the addition of new member states and demanding increased defense spending are not actions designed to weaken NATO. When asked about Article 5 – the Alliance’s mutual defense clause – Trump emphasized that European members rely on America’s military strength.

Win Number Two

Trump has achieved remarkable success in securing the southern border. The number of border crossings and migrants admitted to the United States is now a fraction of what it was under the reckless and destructive policies of the Biden administration. Since Trump’s inauguration, illegal border crossings have dropped dramatically. In May of this year, there were 8,725 crossings compared to 117,905 in May 2024—a 93% decrease. The number of migrants released into the U.S. dropped from 62,000 in May 2024 to zero in May 2025. Total nationwide encounters with illegal border crossers averaged just 952 per day—the lowest ever recorded.

This dramatic and rapid shift proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the Biden policies were not merely misguided but willfully executed with malice aforethought. The open border, coupled with incentives such as jobs, schooling, housing, and de facto immunity from ICE, was a deliberate political strategy.

Win Number Three

The United States Supreme Court blocked an injunction that would have prevented Trump from deporting illegal aliens to countries other than their nation of origin. The injunction would have halted the removal of serious criminals whose home countries either refused to accept them or were deemed unsafe for the illegal migrants to return by federal judges. While the ruling is not final, such decisions often signal how the Court will ultimately rule. This is a significant win.

Win Number Four

In a separate case, the Supreme Court ruled that Trump could retain control of the California National Guard after a lower federal court had said otherwise. This decision undermines Democratic claims that Trump’s federalization of the Guard was illegal.

Win Number Five

Trump’s decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear sites has yielded two major outcomes. It has halted Iran’s uranium enrichment program – for now – and forced Tehran into a ceasefire and negotiations under threat of further action. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Hosseini Khamenei, will either agree to a harsh settlement or lose his grip on power—if he hasn’t already. (At 86, the world’s most notorious state sponsor of terrorism is not likely to remain in power much longer, regardless.)

Win Number Six

Despite dire economic predictions from Democrats, inflation has been steadily declining since Trump took office. It now hovers around 2 percent—the level at which Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell previously indicated rate cuts would be triggered. Powell has resisted Trump’s calls to lower interest rates, which continues to needlessly cost taxpayers billions of dollars. Powell’s term ends in June 2026—unless Trump finds a way to replace him sooner. Either way, Trump appears poised for another win. He recently told the press he has a few names in mind as Powell’s successor.

Summary

Trump continues to face fierce unrelenting political opposition from Democrats and the left-wing establishment, but they have yet to prevail. In fact, their strategy of demonizing Trump has been failing for more than eight years—and counting. They can only hide behind false political narratives for so long — and “so long” is running out of time.

So, there ‘tis.

AUTHOR NOTE: Trump is still on a roll. Since this commentary, the Supreme Court has handed President Trump a HUGE victory. In the Birthright Citizenship case, the high court declared that District Federal Judges DO NOT have the authority to issue nationwide injunctions – as I predicted they would. That will affect a number of cases Democrats have been filing. This is the reason the Trump administration appealed the flurry of cases by partisan players.
