President Trump has been racking up a number of wins recently.

President Trump has been racking up a number of wins recently.

Win Number One

It is no exaggeration to say that President Trump returned from the NATO meeting in triumph. Most notably, every member nation—except Spain—agreed to increase their contribution to NATO to five percent of GDP. In his first term, Trump had browbeaten member nations into meeting their two percent commitment in his previous term. President Biden, by contrast, failed to raise the issue during his four years in office. The new funding will provide trillions of dollars for the defense of Europe – including critical military aid to Ukraine. For those who believe Trump is too soft on Vladimir Putin (me included), this stands as a strong affront to the Russian madman, who is reportedly apoplectic over a reinvigorated NATO.

In addition to the funding breakthrough, Trump was met with high praise from many world leaders – most notably NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Trump’s strike on Iran was also widely praised. This should put to rest the Democrats’ false narrative that Trump is anti-NATO and would seek to dismantle the Alliance. Despite his tough rhetoric on funding, I’ve long maintained that Trump supports a strong NATO and has never had any intention of withdrawing the United States – even if he could. Supporting the addition of new member states and demanding increased defense spending are not actions designed to weaken NATO. When asked about Article 5 – the Alliance’s mutual defense clause – Trump emphasized that European members rely on America’s military strength.

Win Number Two

Trump has achieved remarkable success in securing the southern border. The number of border crossings and migrants admitted to the United States is now a fraction of what it was under the reckless and destructive policies of the Biden administration. Since Trump’s inauguration, illegal border crossings have dropped dramatically. In May of this year, there were 8,725 crossings compared to 117,905 in May 2024—a 93% decrease. The number of migrants released into the U.S. dropped from 62,000 in May 2024 to zero in May 2025. Total nationwide encounters with illegal border crossers averaged just 952 per day—the lowest ever recorded.

This dramatic and rapid shift proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the Biden policies were not merely misguided but willfully executed with malice aforethought. The open border, coupled with incentives such as jobs, schooling, housing, and de facto immunity from ICE, was a deliberate political strategy.

Win Number Three

The United States Supreme Court blocked an injunction that would have prevented Trump from deporting illegal aliens to countries other than their nation of origin. The injunction would have halted the removal of serious criminals whose home countries either refused to accept them or were deemed unsafe for the illegal migrants to return by federal judges. While the ruling is not final, such decisions often signal how the Court will ultimately rule. This is a significant win.

Win Number Four

In a separate case, the Supreme Court ruled that Trump could retain control of the California National Guard after a lower federal court had said otherwise. This decision undermines Democratic claims that Trump’s federalization of the Guard was illegal.

Win Number Five

Trump’s decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear sites has yielded two major outcomes. It has halted Iran’s uranium enrichment program – for now – and forced Tehran into a ceasefire and negotiations under threat of further action. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Hosseini Khamenei, will either agree to a harsh settlement or lose his grip on power—if he hasn’t already. (At 86, the world’s most notorious state sponsor of terrorism is not likely to remain in power much longer, regardless.)

Win Number Six

Despite dire economic predictions from Democrats, inflation has been steadily declining since Trump took office. It now hovers around 2 percent—the level at which Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell previously indicated rate cuts would be triggered. Powell has resisted Trump’s calls to lower interest rates, which continues to needlessly cost taxpayers billions of dollars. Powell’s term ends in June 2026—unless Trump finds a way to replace him sooner. Either way, Trump appears poised for another win. He recently told the press he has a few names in mind as Powell’s successor.

Summary

Trump continues to face fierce unrelenting political opposition from Democrats and the left-wing establishment, but they have yet to prevail. In fact, their strategy of demonizing Trump has been failing for more than eight years—and counting.  They can only hide behind false political narratives for so long   — and “so long” is running out of time.

So, there ‘tis.

AUTHOR NOTE:  Trump is still on a roll.  Since this commentary, the Supreme Court has handed President Trump a HUGE victory.  In the Birthright Citizenship case, the high court declared that District Federal Judges DO NOT have the authority to issue nationwide injunctions – as I predicted they would.  That will affect a number of cases Democrats have been filing.  This is the reason the Trump administration appealed the flurry of cases by partisan players.

The man who has been put through everything is winning winning and winning. The democrats are too stupid to get Trump. And isn’t our SCOTUS wonderful? Elections does have consequences.

One man’s honey is another man’s poison. The author’s rose-colored glasses tint his perceptions as he continues his progress from compassionate conservative of the Reagan variety to living the dream of the Felon King’s party, whatever that is. Just amazing how he paints America with his bias.

WN1: Trump’s NATO trip was a win. You know they just cringe when he comes. His success is described by the author as: “Most notably, every member nation—except Spain—agreed to increase their contribution to NATO to five percent of GDP.” Even more notable, but not noticed by the author is that this five percent agreed upon rise in military spending is by 2035. If it even happens at all. He got 5%, but not until ten years from now. And the extra spending says 3.5% for military, up from 2%. Then a new one, 1.5% for what they call “militarily adjacent” projects. I would call that roads, bridges, health care, etc. So really, it’s 3.5%, not 5%, and it’s 2035, not 2025. The first gut check on progress is not until Trump leaves office, 2029. See you then…..

In return, Trump signed off on the summit’s brief communiqué, which was unanimously approved and includes a restatement of the allies’ commitment to collective defense in Article 5 of the NATO pact which Trump has never before agreed upon in public. Quite the opposite, he has said he would “wait and see.”

Many Democrats, myself included, see this as a worthwhile win, especially to confirm Article 5. However, left off the table was Ukraine deliverables or mention of China. Also, Spain will not meet the 5%, ever and probably Slovakia and Belgium too as they noted the implausibility.

It’s still a great deal, IMO, and we will get an assessment one year after Trump leaves office, 2029. Check is in the mail….. But not the total win the author has stated, IMO. And yes, Rutte kissed his ass, publicly, but let’s face it —- he’s playing the “two more years” game and placating Trump in person, in public, is akin to a grinfuck —- if you catch my drift. Yes, it’s a win, but not exactly as the author portrays it IF he actually looked at the actual details of the deal.

Even Dunger speaking somewhat favorably about Trump? Just shows that even a blind squirrel can find a nut.

WN2: IMO, securing the border is another Trump win of mixed blessings. My research says 83% down, overall. I am guessing the author’s 93% is for the southern border where the closure rate is higher for ingress. But at what cost? “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” We have created a cruel, inhuman, reign of terror for effect. Because it makes for great TV and Trump is brand marketing his MAGA USA.

Trump likes great TV. Cruel and unusual punishment is his stock and trade. This is a guy who wanted to kill the Central Park Five later determined totally innocent. He’s a guy who wants to wipe out GAZA for condos. A guy wants to shoot them in the leg for crossing the Rio Grande. Is unapologetic for the faceplanting of a Senator asking a question. Calls his political opponents traitors and terrorists. What a great picture he thinks it would make. He actually signed an EO requesting the death penalty for any Federal Crime committed by the undocumented (a misdemeanor). He even pays extra for military transport because it’s so Darth Vader looking. I agree that stopping illegal crossings is great, but at what cost? The author seems all to willing to give up his humanity for the sake of some misdemeanors missed. Sluffs it off as braggadocio. Misdemeanors that the author would probably snitch on for less than 30 pieces of silver.

Remember, the crime is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $250 fine and up to 6 months in the poky. Instead, he shows the world how he is more than willing, almost joyful, to send them to their murderous death in a US-funded third-world death-camp gulag where, chances are, they will not come out alive. For a misdemeanor. We murder them.

OR for a living hell, he sends them to a third-world country at war where our victims will be treated as pariah who don’t even speak the language. This are heinous, cruel and unusual punishment that the founders would puke on. But the author calls them a win. He has changed. His heart is black.

Trump has basically ended asylum through restrictions. We are no longer a haven for asylum seekers, pretty much alone in that amongst developed nations. Perhaps the author likes us spitting on world-agreements that we have signed? Trump also shut down the ap that allowed asylum seekers a safer way to immigrate without coming in-country. He ended humanitarian parole for those in really dangerous places because Trump, and now America, is not a humanitarian country anymore. And he ordered asylum seekers to wait in Mexico. Again, no other developed nation puts that constraint on asylum seekers. They follow the agreement we all signed onto. This one will end up with the SCOTUS. He then declared us under invasion and militarized the border. He is now reducing some of that to fulfill his deportation daydreams. Again, IMO, a win, but at what cost? And, in the end, he cannot come even close to his 14,000,000 promise and when you see the price tag, you will gag. Our deficit will be blown out of the water.

WN3: So, the first two wins are overshadowed by cruelly draconian practices voiding our treaty signing in spirit, if not in law. But they are legal so far. This one also represents cruel and unusual punishment and is unconstitutional, IMO. Period. It is a ghastly approach to deportation. Should be illegal. The author’s acceptance shows he has crossed over to the dark side. He is willing to deport and dash people to countries that they don’t even speak the language. What’s next, send them to Antarctica dressed in a Speedo? I just hope they never pick up the author’s kids.

WN4: In choosing the dark side, the author counts as a win for a President to unleash the military for domestic tranquility. The founders would puke on this decision as they did when it happened in their time.

WN5: The author is impressed by a sneak attack like Pearl Harbor where the President said let’s set up peace talks, I will take 2 weeks to make a decision on war, and then 30 hours later sent in the bombers while his peace man was in the air to meet with the Iranians. The author boldly claims: “Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Hosseini Khamenei, will either agree to a harsh settlement or lose his grip on power.” There are a number of other possible outcomes too. So far, nothing has happened and the cease fire was broken on day one. Trump said he would unleash holy hell: TACO. But he did scream and the ceasefire is back on. For now.

My bottom line is the author sees wins, I see an inhumanity to man that we have not seen for generations. If ever. Remember that I said: doing the right thing the wrong way is wrong. Why? Unintended outcomes is one problematic aspect. I have said that one might understand a 4-year old separated from parents, never reunited, having a real hate on for the US of A and it’s citizens. How would you feel IF your parents were disappeared? Ready to vote Trump or go full Liam Neeson on somebody’s ass. Treating prisoners like property, shackling, hobbling, murdering, criminals and innocents alike without due process by the military operating on our streets as if we ARE a third-world autocracy run not by the people, but by the whims of a man. If I got out of that prison alive, I might come back acting like I was already dead. Because I might be, in my mind, and rightfully so. The fact the author is joyous in this tells me how fast a good man can go bad. And I have to say it: NAZI-like as we herd them up, shackle em down, send em off, and kill them in a foreign gulag or war zone.
