Only One Reason Democrats Oppose the War in Iran … Trump

Most of the Democratic Party leadership and the radical left-wing establishment are on an obsessive 24/7 endless loop in opposition to the military action in Iran. There can be only two possible reasons. Either they affirmatively want the Iran regime to survive and continue their quest for “the bomb” and its campaign of terror against Israel, the United States, and most of the civilized world … OR they hate Trump so much that that are willing to throw the security of the United State and allies under the bus to demonize him – and to weaken him and the GOP politically in order to gain power in the midterm elections.

In criticizing the military effort, Democrats are lying on many fronts – and they ignore and even deny Iran’s long history of deadly terrorism on a massive scale. The regime in Tehran has been widely recognized as the world’s number one exporter of terrorism – a fact that even Democrats conceded until recently. Now they drop that issue from their vocabulary. In fact, they claim that Iran was not – and is not – an imminent threat to the United States. Ironically, Iran proudly boasts it is—and always will be. That is the substance of its “Death to America” mantra. It is a major component of their national policy.

The left-wing news media are in constant criticism of the military. They talk about the cost of oil as a catastrophe – which it is not. They repeatedly bring up military lives and injuries – which are remarkably low. (For the record, as a person who lost a marine grandson in Afghanistan, I do not make light of the human cost of wars. But it is one of the unfortunate consequences of war.) They repeatedly replay the loss of the school children in an inadvertent hit on a school – terrible outcome due to the fog of war. (My grandson was killed by “friendly fire.” Shit happens.)

Democrats claim that the attack on Iran is likely to expand into a larger conflict – even a third world war. At the same time, they say Trump took action without the participation of allied nations other than Israel. So, which is it? Do Democrats not want more nations involved or do they? Their only consistency is criticism.

Democrats take up Iran’s claim that its only interest in atomic energy is for peaceful purposes – even as all the evidence suggests otherwise. They falsely claim that the Iran deal entered into by President Obama prevented Iran from every getting nuclear weapons. They are lying. Former Ambassador Michael McFaul was on MS NOW saying correctly that the agreement prevented Iron from building nuclear weapons only for 10 years – and Iran was secretly violating even that agreement before the ink was dry.

Iran never stopped enriching uranium to weapon grade levels. Iran, itself, said they had sufficient enriched uranium to build 10 bombs within weeks. It was a blunder on their part. Apparently, Iran’s leaders assumed the revelation would coax the Trump administration to rush into a deal. Instead, it established the pretext for the war.

The Democrat talking points, sound disturbingly similar to Iran’s propaganda. They are merely parroting the line from Tehran. According to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, his is opposition to the war is based on three points – that (1) America was pressured into the war by Israel, (2) Iran is not, and never was, an imminent threat to the United States and (3) that negotiations were progressing in a positive manner and Iran was negotiating in good faith. Sound familiar?

Amazingly, the left-wing establishment is still proposing negotiation as the better way. Former National Security Advisor under President Biden, Jake Sullivan, was on “Morning Joe” selling the failed negotiations approach. His strategy is to negotiate the nuclear issue only. As a tradeoff, the United States would ease up on sanctions. The buildup of conventional weapons and the terrorism issue would be left to future separate negotiations. In other words, go back to where we were under Biden but with fewer sanctions. The Sullivan approach would also re-establish Russian influence in the Middle East via Iran.

At the same time Democrats are propagandizing in support of Iran, they are refusing to fund the most fundamental and critical services of the federal government – national security. Again, in pursuit of narrow partisan issues, congressional Democrats are holding up funding for the FBI, the CIA, ICE, TSA, Secret Service, etc. These are services that are especially critical in a time of military conflict. Whether they agree with the war or not, undermining the entire American security community is tantamount to sabotage.

Democrats criticize the cost of the war even though it is one of the least costly and most efficient military actions in modern times. But Democrats will say anything – tell any lie – to misinform the public.

Democrats are working overtime to create public opposition and hostility to the war effort. Because it seems inconceivable that any American would put narrow partisan interests — and an irrational hatred for Trump – ahead of the security and safety of the American people, many accept the Democrats’ false narratives and propaganda at face value.

Democrats are using every opportunity available to them to give aid, comfort, and encouragement to the despotic regime in Tehran. They are actively working to keep the current regime in power by ending the war short of victory – and to kick the can down the road on the nuclear issue and re-establish Iran’s ability to rebuild its military and rain terror on the world – especially the United States.

One of the clear signs that Iran is losing the war is their effort to close the Straits of Hormuz. It does create temporarily higher gas prices in America. But it hurts other nations even more – and especially Iran’s supposed ally China. Iran’s leaders are only willing to do that out of desperation.

Is not 47 years of being sucker punched by the Iranian regime enough – 47 years of disruption and death — enough. Yet, Democrats – out of perceived narrow partisan political interests are willing to sell out not only America’s national security but the security of the civilized world.

Iran is not winning the war – and cannot. In fact, it is losing more and more every day. Yes, they still have the abilities of a wounded animal. But that will end if America, Israel, allies .and partners in the region follow through.

The United States should take up the goal of 80 percent of the Iranian people, who chant “Death to the Regime!” The only chance Iran has in remaining a viable terrorist nation, is the hope that Democrats and the left-wing domestic establishment will mount sufficient public pressure to force a legislative end to the war – a precipitous pullout reminiscent of the surrender in Afghanistan. And we know how that worked out.

Whether it is intentional or Democrats see it as a necessary consequence of a larger anti-Trump political strategy, the effect is the same. Democrats are supporting the Iranian regime, and the Iranian regime is supporting the Democrats partisan political ambitions.

I am not talking about the millions of American citizens who call themselves Democrats, or even all of the Democrat political leadership. But I am calling out the left-wing establishment that currently has dominance in the Party and controls a significant portion of the news and entertainment media. I am calling out those in the Democratic Party who see pursuit of power at any cost as their foundational mission. But this is a case in which the cost is too high.

So, there. Tis.

What a bunch of crap! Trump started this mess (with strong encouragement from Netanyahoo) without consulting any of the democrats in Congress. He started acting as a dictator on Day 1 of his second term, announced that our fighting men could win this war without any assistance from anyone else, and all that shows is the bunch of ass kissers that he has around him, who are afraid to tell him that this was a bad idea. None of the last three democrat presidents considered doing this, mainly because they realized that it was going to be very difficult to pull off successfully, and now you expect them to support something that they all realized was a fool’s errand? It appears that trump has realized (too late) that he has started something that he cannot successfully finish, which is why he is asking (demanding?) that our allies help him-unfortunately, rather than cultivating friendships with people that are considered to be our friends, he has insulted and demeaned them (both verbally and monetarily), so they are reluctant (at best) to come to his aid. The leader of Iran that he bragged about killing in the early days of his war was quite old (as old as you Larry), so a reasonable person would have realized that he was probably not long for this world. It is possible that had we not attacked them, they would have chosen a leader more positive to the west-instead we attacked and they have dug in their heels with a leader at least as extreme as the old one. Of course, there were ongoing negotiations in Switzerland when Trump decided to start his bombing campaign-and we had fools speaking for us in the form of Witkoff and Kushner-is it any wonder that Iran refuses to discuss any settlement with us at this time? Of course you don’t care about the Iranian casualties (or the US soldiers who have been killed or injured) during this ridiculous war. No,, democrats are not against the war because of trump specifically, we are against it because it was an unjustified attack by an idiot sitting behind the resolute desk, and his equally ignorant secretary of defense. If you can’t see that, then you are just as ignorant as they are….

The truth hurts. But you people lie. Ignorance? You idiots supported a retard for president in 2020 and helped steal the election. But your token ho fell on her commie ass

UT: the only proof of “stealing the 2020 election” comes from Georgia where Trump’s legal team pled guilty to charges of attempting to rig the election saying they would testify against Trump as they were “in the room.” Case has been dropped as Republicans took over the prosecution, but the plea stands and they stand guilty of doing it and claiming it was Trump at the top.

You got nothing on the rest, no evidence, as Trump steals voter data from many States destroying State’s Rights as a Federal Dictator. You may be happy about that until we ascend the throne and use your voter data against you as you used it against us. Or worse.

Trump was found guilty of attempting to rig the 2016 election; twas a felony. It’s the Stormy Daniels Hush Money Case, better known as the Spanking Sex Sins Case. Gee, Spanky was famous round here too.

Beyond the 65 failed Republican Court cased over the 2020 or the half dozen failed Republican recounts over the 2020 or the failed Republican insurrection to stop the vote in 2021; what else you got that’s a legal decision of cheating in the 2020?

    Crickets I bet.

Lots of dead people voted. And the Georgia case is unraveling. But give us Trump over demoncraps every day. But Dunger would rather have a retard in the White House

Uncle Tom-you misunderstand-we do have a retard in the WH-he proves it on a daily basis (and a liar, and a grifter, and a narcissist….). Our former Allie’s (including those that showed up in droves after we were attacked on 9/11) are fleeing en-mass due to one person-that fool who sits in the oval office. We need Allie’s (which numb nuts just figured out when he pleaded for assistance in opening the straight of Hormuz). Ignoramuses like yourself (and Larry of course) are too effing dense to see the disaster that our country is facing due to one wannabe dictator….

Mike F as in Fantastic. I am sorry but I have to disagree with you calling Trump a retard. He’s a highly functioning sociopath, not a retard. You might draw that conclusion because he’s mentally breaking down due to age. Like Larry, he’s very old and becoming more infantile by the day. Just like Larry. He has trouble walking now, mostly seen sitting, slurs his speech often, and is known to go on rants and flights of fancy talking about ridiculous stuff. He has funny marks on his hands, swollen ankles, etc. and even said his issue is taking too much aspirin.

Like his mistaking an excursion for his incursion. Or telling us the War in Iran is over, we won.

I hope he gets better, but think age is catching up to him, not retardation.

Uncle Dungie: do you believe anything they have to say? Are you really that much of a sheeple? Only a complete idiot would say what you said and not even bother to look it up for confirmation. Dead people voting, lots of em. It’s a zombie apocalypse. Fact is there are many dead people on the roles. Does that mean they voted? You see the roles and go, “uh, yup, and then they drank my beer. I know, because it’s gone.” You idiots will believe anything. Worse yet, you are more that the useful idiots to spread this bullshit. Putin’s ploy works, he can bring us down by filling you up with bullshit.

First the Trump Georgia 2020 election rigging scam: The guilty pleas in Georgia stand, Trump’s Republican lawyers, and others, pled guilty for attempting to rig the 2020 election. Trump was found guilty of similar 2020 election rigging in the Stormy Daniels Hush Money Case where the sin of spanking sex occurred. With a magazine. At his request. The rest of the Georgia case was dismissed days after the Trump-lover took over as Prosecutor. Funny thing, he was the supervisor but could not find anyone to take the job so stepped in himself. It’s over, you won for Trump. The other guys are tossed under the bus. But he said what he said and sure looks guilty. His lawyers said they could implicate him, they were in the room with him.

How do dead people vote? Seems odd. How do dead people vote, much less in great numbers? Can you even explain that process? You actually don’t prove it, you just spew it, without a source or confirmation, or numbers. Truth, is dead people don’t vote except in the mind of morons who believe this debunked, disproven, load of dung. BUSTED for being a dunger.

        Proof: some news.

12/21 The Guardian: “Trump claims 5,000 dead people voted in Georgia – but the real number is four.”

12/21 PBS: “Exhaustive fact check finds little evidence of voter fraud, but 2020’s ‘Big Lie’ lives on”

10/20 Stanford Institute for Public Policy: “Dead people don’t vote: Study points to an ‘extremely rare’ fraud.”

In 2014, the GAO “conducted a literature review of studies into in-person voter fraud. “Five states provided us with investigative studies that focused on specific types of election fraud. … The one study that included some information on allegations of in-person voter fraud examined instances of votes cast in the name of deceased persons in one state. It examined about 200 questioned votes that were cast in the November 2010 election and ultimately determined that all but 5 of the questioned votes could be attributed to errors by state or local officials.”

Brenan Center says: “A 2007 investigation of about 100 “dead voters” in Missouri revealed that every single purported case was properly attributed either to a matching error, a problem in the underlying data, or a clerical error by elections officials or voters.”

Your guys agree: The Heritage Foundation’s Voter Fraud Database shows the number of times where one or more individuals were found to have voted or attempted to vote in the name of a deceased voter. Here’s the database back to 1982 and only two possible cases uncovered.

If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there. Our Iran War strategy.

Sounds like WMD’s all over again. Or maybe those Kuwaiti babies taken off the incubators. Or that tiny-wittle-motorboat attacking our battleship in the Gulf of Tonkin. All good reasons to send our kids in. Sorry folks, I’ve been here a few times in my life with brainless hawks like Larry. If Lindsey Graham is for it; I question it. Like so many others, after 9/11, I was gung-ho for Iraq and Afghanistan; both party’s Presidents let me down going for regime change, and failing miserably. One thing is sure, if George Bush Sr. accepted the lie from Kuwait and the incubators, if Johnson couldn’t get the truth from the Gulf of Tonkin, if we all got taken by Cheney in Iraq, and if Obama could let Afghanistan go on and on, what chance have we got over finding 456kg of Uranium by bombing the fuck out of the country. That’s three or four basketballs in size. At this point, if it does exist, it was gone when the first bomb fell and lost to us. I mean if we can’t find Guthrie’s mother in one State, what chance do we have to find four basketballs in all of Iran, or the world by this point. Yup, Iran was in the box and now it ain’t. Good job, mission accomplished. Trump said we won, we don’t need no stinking help. His top counterintelligence guy said they were not an imminent threat and we took Israel’s bait. Think we weren’t baited? Then how did Lebanon become part of OUR excursion into Iran?

On the enriched uranium. They had it to 60%, that’s the lion’s share of the hard work and thus, only a week or two to spin it up to 90%. Almost as it they went to a line, told us they were close in our discussions, but not there for some reason, and our response was to assassinate their leadership and bomb the fuck out of them. And then we asked them to give up, let the people take over, and then we bombed Lebanon. Why did they do the heavy lifting to get it to 60%: this probably took them near five years to do. Why did they stop when it would only take a couple of weeks to go from 60% to 90%? 60% is a weak bomb, a dirty bomb; 90% is the real thing. Why did they stop, why did they tell us during the talks?

I am not going to talk possibilities, but note that you are believing Iran, known liars. Maybe they had, maybe not. Maybe they took the two weeks and made it 90%. Maybe they have nothing. Who knows. And then you are believing Witkoff, a guy who tells us to believe Putin tells the truth. Yeah, sure, I trust that guy. Or Kushner who sells his company when doing Trump’s diplomatic work. And don’t forget that, according to Trump, supposedly, most of the uranium formerly known as “obliterated” is buried deep. There are no signs of Iran digging for it. It’s obliterated as well as their capabilities to make more. Is the 456kg above ground or deep in the rubble of the obliteration. Of course this all comes from the same guy who you believe when he said the “excursion” in War is over, we won. Face it, everyone is lying, posturing, positioning.

Now it comes out from Oman and confirmed by the UK member who was in the room, Iran had made many deep concessions during the talks, and it appeared a deal was about to hit the table. Perhaps Oman and UK lie too. What does Witkoff and Kushner say about that. If this is true, I would guess Israel handed Trump an opportunity he could not refuse. He thought he could run a Maduro-like excursion and either the Iranian protestors would go American revolutionary on their asses or Iran would gratefully capitulate to Trump’s demand. He was so sure he forgot the Straights of Hormuz.

The Iranian leadership are bad actors; glad they are gone. I just wish we didn’t have to do it via assassination, like we assassinated their general, or abducted Maduro. I would rather that we convict them before we launch our vigilante strikes. Face shooting, back shooting, death by excursion will never be my style. I ride with the Duke.

I do not understand Larry’s article. I think I know what he means, but most of his sentences do not make logical sense. It’s a weird word salad of diverse concepts that don’t seem to logically hang together. Pretty sure you can dart-board a sentence and I can show the illogic, but here’s an example: “There can be only two possible reasons.” Larry lists over a half dozen reasons Trump went to “excursion” but one two reasons to be against? That does not seem fair; I’m against more than two of Larry’s six. Why does he get six, but I only get an either/or. One of the reasons Larry notes is: “they hate Trump so much that that are willing to throw the security of the United State and allies under the bus to demonize him – and to weaken him and the GOP politically in order to gain power in the midterm elections.” How does hating Trump throw not only the security of the US under the bus, but all of our allies security? IS IT TREASON now to be against war? Our allies are running away from us for security reasons. How can you toss all our security out the window over standing up over one little excursion? Pointing out Trump’s weaknesses to win the midterms, sure, why not, he does it and has started already. I mean he’s using pictures of the Dignified Transfer to raise bucks to get elected. Could have been Larry’s hero son if another war. That’s just sick and depraved, you think he backs off at a perceived weakness? Does Larry? But really, how is this throwing our security under the bus? It’s weird and just does not make sense, as the case for much of this piece.

I honestly think there’s a way out of this, have posted same, and believe our best path through Iran starts with Larry’s first dream: getting out of Iran by winning the war in Ukraine against Iran’s major ally, Russia.

Well hello there. I am so hurt by you using coercion to block me from your regular postings. You do not play fair. You show that you must be in love with Stetson or you would allow me to get your emails – ALL the time, but you do not. Do you have the guts to explain, in truth, why you play these illegal and childish games? Danger is so biased and suffers with aa big class of TDS yet you have mostly kicked me out? Do you think I, at nearly 80 years old should be treated the way you do? Is it because I am female or is it because you love lies? A lot of crap on here from certain commenters are lies and deep Democrat deep state rhetoric. I absolutely DO TELL THE TRUTH on your sites. Why do you not like truth? You are all very hateful and hurtful to some of us. I will NEVER forget what you did to me. Ever! I am watching as much as is allowed with you not emailing me anymore except mostly for ads.
