“We are at war,” announced ;French Prime Minister Manual Valls in the wake of the attacks in Brussels last week. But what did our president do? ;Less than one week after two bombings in the EU’s capital left 30 dead and over 200 wounded, President Obama has reaffirmed his plan to import more Middle Eastern refugees into the United States. ;

“As we move forward, we have to wield another weapon alongside our airstrikes, our military, our counterterrorism work, and our diplomacy – and that’s the power of our example,” he said in his weekly address to the nation. ;

President Obama ;made it clear that he will not back off his promise to allow 100,000 Syrian and Iraqi refugees make new homes in America – despite the fact that a majority of Americans oppose the idea. ;Apparently he didn’t notice what happened to Germany and Sweden after they opened their ;gates…

“Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL’s violence; our determination to win the battle against ISIL’s hateful and violent propaganda – a distorted view of Islam that aims to radicalize young Muslims to their cause,” are central to the fight, he continued, adding that American Muslims are our most important partners in this plan. ;

We must “reject any attempt to stigmatize Muslims Americans,” he said. The comment ;may have been a shot at Donald Trump, who proposed banning Muslims from entering the United States until the situation with Syria and ISIS becomes more stable. ;Such efforts, said ;Obama, “are contrary to our character, our values, and to our history as a nation built around the idea of religious freedom.” ;

Editor’s Note: This is foolhardy on Obama’s part. I can’t imagine anything more dangerous.
