<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;" align="center">Steve Koonin, the former Energy Department Undersecretary, admitted that the former administration manipulated &ldquo;climate change&rdquo; to influence public opinion to support political initiatives. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> ;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;What you saw coming out of the press releases about climate data, climate analysis, was, I&rsquo;d say, misleading, sometimes just wrong,&rdquo; said Koonin to <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">The Wall Street Journal</em> on Monday.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Koonin gives an example. The National Climate Assessment in 2014 falsely reported that hurricane activity had increased from 1980, blaming &ldquo;global warming.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;What they forgot to tell you, and you don&rsquo;t know until you read all the way into the fine print is that it actually decreased in the decades before that,&rdquo; said Koonin.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The theory of &ldquo;climate change&rdquo; has been argued for years. Environmentalists have been on a mission to address this &ldquo;problem&rdquo; at all costs. Obama&rsquo;s administration slapped strict regulations on several industries to limit carbon emissions in an effort to combat global warming.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">However, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reported that there &ldquo;is limited evidence of changes in extremes associated with other climate variables since the mid-20th century&rdquo; and the current data shows &ldquo;no significant observed trends in global tropical cyclone frequency over the past century.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Obama&rsquo;s press officials worked with National Oceanic Administration (NOAA) and NASA to mislead the public with manipulated data. ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Nonetheless, Koonin believes climate change is real, but there isn&rsquo;t enough evidence about it to impact policy.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;Climate change is real and affected by human activity, writes a former top science official of the Obama administration. But we are very far from having the knowledge needed to make good policy,&rdquo; writes <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">The Wall Street Journal</em>. &ldquo;Our best climate models still fail to explain the actual climate data.&rdquo;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Koonin also condemned NASA and NOAA&rsquo;s actions because &ldquo;&ldquo;public opinion is formed by the data that is formed from those organizations and appears in newspapers.&rdquo;<br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" /> <!--[endif]--></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&ldquo;You&rsquo;re a scientist and it is your responsibility to put the facts on the table,&rdquo; said Koonin. ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A whistleblower at NOAA claimed that agency scientists rushed a release of a global warming study to influence policymakers. Now the NOAA is being looked at closely.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Lamar Smith, Texas Republican Rep. and the committee&rsquo;s chairman, will be asking the NOAA to provide documents included in a subpoena from 2015 in reference to data tampering.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Author&rsquo;s note:</strong> How much more evidence do we need to prove these agencies have been &ldquo;adjusting&rdquo; records to perpetuate this theory of climate change? Like Koonin points out there isn&rsquo;t enough evidence to prove global warming, so policy shouldn&rsquo;t be drafted to fight it.</p>

Their rules were strict and the oversight was close, because they were not allowed do any propaganda that might possibly influence Americans.  ;Present day, Obama turns a federal agency into his own propaganda tool, designed to influence Americans. We are fortunate the new EPA chief is actually anti-EPA in its Obama Administration form. ;</p>
