<p>Yesterday&#8217;s Democratic primary in Iowa is a complete debacle. In one of the greatest embarrassments in electoral history, the Party&#8217;s new mobile app, meant to streamline voting in the caucus process that Iowa uses, has apparently failed and is not reporting its &#8220;three sets of data&#8221; correctly.</p>

<p>The Iowa Democratic Party has stated that this is not a hacking problem but rather a &#8220;quality control&#8221; problem, and that they found inconsistancies in their data.</p>
<p>From the Iowa Democratic Party: &#8220;We found inconsistencies in the reporting of three sets of results. In addition to the tech systems being used to tabulate results, we are also using photos of results and a paper trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have confidence and accuracy in the numbers we report. This is simply a reporting issue. The app did not go down and this is not a hack or an intrusion. The underlying data and paper trail is sound and will simply take time to further report the results.&#8221;</p>
<p>The candidates have each given their &#8220;victory&#8221; speech and left the state.</p>
