Newly Release FBI Texts Regarding the Hillary Probe – Bad This Time

The Justice Department has turned over more text messages from two FBI agents who were removed from Robert Mueller’s Russia probe investigation team after they were caught exchanging anti-Trump messages.

384 pages with approximately 9,000 texts from December 14 to May 17 of last year were sent by the FBI Director Christopher Wray to lawmakers on Friday, but according to Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, some of the messages got lost in the FBI’s system because of “misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI’s collection capabilities.”

In the latest messages handled over between the former FBI officials, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page prove that they were aware that Hillary Clinton would not be charged after the investigation into her email server even before the former Democratic presidential candidate was interviewed by the FBI.

“The two express displeasure about the timing of Lynch’s announcement that she would defer to the FBI’s judgment on the Clinton investigation. That announcement came days after it was revealed that the attorney general and former President Bill Clinton had an impromptu meeting aboard her plane in Phoenix, though both sides said the email investigation was never discussed,” writes the Associated Press.

On July 1 after Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced that the FBI would accept the conclusion of the investigation, Strzok said “(t)iming looks like hell. Will appear to be choreographed” and Page responded with “And yeah, it’s a real profile in couragw (sic), since she knows no charges will be brought.”

Then four days later, on July 5, the FBI Director at the time James Comey announced that no charges would be brought against Clinton, but made the infamous statement that her use of the private email server was “extremely careless.”

The text messages reveal the FBI officials’ bias stance on both the Clinton investigation and, again, their anti-Trump point of view.

“In one February 2016 exchange, FBI lawyer Lisa Page calls it “unbelievable” that the 2016 presidential race would come down to Clinton versus Trump. Peter Strzok, who led the investigation of the Clinton email server as the No. 2 official in the FBI’s counterintelligence division, responds, “Now the pressure really starts to finish MYE . . . ,” an apparent reference to “Midyear Exam” — the FBI’s internal case name for the Clinton investigation,” writes CNN.

In Johnson’s letter requesting the messages, he specifically asked about the five-month gap where the texts were not collected from Strzok and Page and asks about messages that can be discovered on non-FBI phones during that time.

“The loss of records from this period is concerning because it is apparent from other records that Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page communicated frequently about the investigation,” said Johnson.

Author’s note: These texts prove that the investigation was rigged. They both knew that the FBI would not file charges BEFORE they even interviewed Hillary Clinton, which was BEFORE the investigation was finished. What a fail of a cover-up.

Editor’s note: Further evidence of how partisan government agencies became during the Obama Administration. This is in addition to other instances of corruption in the DOJ, plus instances in the IRS and the intelligence community.
