
<p>Over a year ago, during his first State of the Union address, President Trump criticized the Biden administration for spending millions of dollars on lab experiments involving mice to see how gender development is affected by different hormones. Trump’s comments outraged liberals who advocate gender change in both adults and children and are supportive of such experiments. But now conservatives are questioning why public funding has been renewed for the same kind of gender-change research using mice in the labs.</p>



<p><em>Just the News</em> (March 30) reported that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has approved funding for at least one transgenderism research involving mice. The project in question that is getting 584,117 in research grant money from the NIH is called “androgen effects on the reproductive neuroendocrine axis” and is being carried out by the University of California San Diego. The brief description of the experiments reveal them as cruel and abusive: injecting castrated mice with testosterone before drilling into their brains and eventually cutting off their heads.</p>



<p>The story clarified that the NIH is not legally bound to provide any new funding to this project after November 30, 2025 when a court ordered the agency last year to continue funding for the experiments that had already been approved under the Biden administration.</p>



<p>Responding briefly to the story of the new NIH funding for this project, Republican Congressman Paul Gosar of AZ called for ending such waste of public finds on “woke pseudoscience.”</p>

<p>Justin Goodman, Senior Vice President of White Coast Waste, expressed outrage at the new funding by the NIH and questioned Trump’s Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for allowing it.</p>

<p>Conservative podcaster Laura Loomer, a loyal follower of President Trump, cited Goodman’s criticism of RFK Jr. and NIH and added that this funding actually defies Trump: “HHS is defying President Trump @POTUS by spending even more money to keep Fauci’s disgusting beagle abuse alive, misleading the American people, and saying HHS is reducing animal tests when they aren’t.”</p>

<p>Last month, White Coast Waste also filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Department of Defense (the Department of War as it is called by the Trump administration) over the department’s abusive experiments on monkeys. As announced on its blog (March 26), White Coast Waste is demanding the release of photos, videos, and other records of these experiments in the DOD-run ; labs in the U.S. as well as those in Peru and Thailand.
