House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul was charged with a DUI Monday after he was involved in a collision Saturday night in Napa County, California.
The incident took place around 10:30pm when a Jeep traveling northbound on State Route 29 collided with Pelosi’s Porsche as he sought to cross the highway using Walnut Lane. Neither driver was injured or deemed at fault, but Pelosi was arrested on two misdemeanor counts: driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08% or higher.
The 82-year-old was released from jail early Sunday morning on a bail of $5,000.
Nancy Pelosi was in Rhode Island at the time of the accident and has made no comment to reporters. She was visiting the East Coast this weekend to deliver the 2022 commencement address at Brown University and was one of nine “distinguished leaders” to receive honorary doctorates from the school.
Nancy and Paul have been married since 1963 and have five kids.
Editor’s Note: Fox has been trying to find the mug shot and the police body cam footage. The local police refuse to release them. Yes, I realize that none of this is “news” per se and it will not affect the worlds as we know it, but such is our dislike of Nancy Pelosi that we want to publicize this and make her more miserable.
