Letitia James and Adam Schiff are in deep sh** … trouble

Letitia James and Adam Schiff are in deep sh** … trouble

Two prominent Democrat figures—New York Attorney General Letitia James and California Senator Adam Schiff—face federal investigations that could result in criminal indictments. The allegations against them are serious, rooted in mortgage fraud and –in the case of James — potential civil rights violations.

Following up on the Criminal Referrals received from the Federal Housing Finance Authority (FHFA), Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed Ed Martin as Special Attorney to investigate the charges.

Letitia James

James is accused of falsifying mortgage documents to obtain favorable loan terms on properties in Brooklyn, New York, and Norfolk, Virginia.  According to the Criminal Referral she:

  • Misrepresented the number of units in a Brooklyn property to qualify for a lower interest loan.
  • Claimed a Virginia property as her primary residence while serving as AG in New York—a legal impossibility.
  • Signed documents with her father falsely listed as her spouse in a 1983 mortgage application.

These allegations are backed by documentation—loan applications, property records, and building permits. Mortgage fraud cases are notoriously difficult to defend when the paper trail is clear.

Civil Rights Charge

Letitia James is also under investigation for allegedly violating Donald Trump’s civil rights through her civil fraud case against him. The DOJ is probing whether her office used its authority to deprive Trump of legal rights under the guise of law.

This charge is more nuanced. Prosecutors must prove that James acted with intent to discriminate or retaliate, not merely that she pursued aggressive litigation. Still, the fact that subpoenas have been issued and a grand jury is involved suggests the DOJ sees potential merit.

Adam Schiff

Schiff faces similar allegations. He allegedly:

  • Claimed both his Maryland and California homes as primary residences on mortgage documents.
  • Received homeowner tax exemptions in California while certifying the Maryland home as his principal residence.
  • Engaged in a “sustained pattern of occupancy misrepresentation” across five Fannie Mae loans.

The FHFA referred Schiff to the DOJ in May, and a grand jury in Maryland has been convened. Schiff’s defense—that both homes are occupied year-round and thus qualify as primary residences—is legally tenuous. (That is a euphemism for bs).  Mortgage fraud statutes are clear. Only one primary residence can be claimed as a primary or legal residence for favorable loan terms with significant financial benefits.  This is especially significant in Schiff’s case because, as a member of Congress, he must have his only legal residency in California.

Political Prosecution vs. Legal Accountability

Defenders of James and Schiff argue that people who commit mortgage fraud are rarely prosecuted. That’s irrelevant. The law does not excuse criminal conduct because others get away with it. Selective enforcement may seem unfair politically, but it’s not a legal defense.

Both officials claim they are being politically targeted. Schiff called the investigation “baseless political retribution,”  James’ office said the DOJ’s actions are “weaponization of the justice system,”  Claiming political motivation, however, does not negate evidence of a crime. If the documents suggest fraud – as they do — the cases proceed.

Political Retribution or Justice?

There’s no denying the political backdrop. Both James and Schiff were aggressive in their pursuit of Trump.  James campaigned on a promise to “get Trump”.  She successfully secured a $354 million civil judgment against Trump for financial fraud – which is currently under appeal.  Schiff led Trump’s first impeachment and was censured by the House for allegedly spreading false accusations about Trump’s conspiring with Russia in the 2016 election – an accusation Special Counsel Robert Mueller debunked.

The irony is thick.  Those who once declared “no one is above the law” are now seeking to exempt themselves from the scrutiny of the law with defensive arguments that seem less founded in law and more in the spirit of political whining in the court-of-public-opinion.

If indictments are issued, the political fallout for James and Schiff will be immense:

  • James could lose her position and face prison time if convicted of wire fraud, bank fraud, or making false statements.
  • Schiff’s Senate career could be derailed, and he may face disqualification if residency fraud is proven – and possible prison time.

However, it is very unlikely that either of them would be sentenced to prison even if convicted.  They still enjoy the privilege of power.

A Reckoning Ahead

Both Letitia James and Adam Schiff are facing serious legal peril. The DOJ grand juries are convened, and subpoenas are flying like confetti in a parade. When the Criminal Referral was sent to the DOJ from the FHFA, I predicted the Justice Department would take up an investigation (strike one).  Since I have gone that far out on a limb, I predict that both James and Schiff will be indicted (strike two).  If that comes to pass, James and Schiff will face federal prosecutors’ 90+ percent conviction record (strike three)

So, there ‘tis.

I know that they can and should be prosecuted. But I will have to see if to believe it. That’s why the left is corrupted. They get away with too much shit. Dating back to Tammany Hall and the earlier days of Chicago when the motto was “don’t forget to vote and vote often “. It seems like people are getting their eyes opened and their heads out of their ass. But hopefully, they will throw the book at the James and schiff shit show. Who knows? It might be a domino effect. Like coming after Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Wow!!!! Can we only imagine?

Prosecute them? Where are the Epstein files and why did Maxwell get the white glove treatment? What does she hold over Trump? I see Harold has his enemies list ready to go….. Still wants Pelosi, oh that dirty boy.

Harold: once again I ask: if all liberals disappear tonight, as you and many of yours would love, would your life be better? Do you really think it’s all Democrats and only Democrats breaking the law, twisting the law to retain power? You claim Tammany Hall, and it was egregious, it was Democratic, but are you really so naïve to believe it’s only Democrats? Even Tammany Hall had a Republican contingent feeding it, profiting from it. I will say that even with Trump’s egregious acts to pick and choose winners and losers federalizing everything, wresting more power in the Presidency over the over supposed equal branches of government than even seen in our Republic since King George ruled; it has not affected my personal life much. Can’t imagine Biden touched yours that much. I have changed my investment strategy to be Trump focused as in capitalizing on his mercurous actions like playing Tesla during his spat with Musk for some quick bucks, but I changed strategies for Biden too, no big deal. But overall, not many changes.

And for you to assume there are only Democratic political machines seems naïve. So I looked. For a real Republican political machine, try early 1900’s Philadelphia where: “the Republican bosses and machines had come to dominate Philadelphia government. It is important to first look at the Vare brothers.” *https://seventy.org/our-history/republican-bosses-and-machines* NYC had Tammany Hall, Philadelphia has the Vare’s. Of course, that was back when Republicans could take a major northern city, days of old, when you were bold. There are plenty of cases of “the Republican machine,” just the Democrats were better at it. Not for the lack of Republicans trying.

As always, I agree, go after James and Schiff to the full extent of the law. Given the prevalence and the issue of two homes for Congress, the right thing to do would be investigate ALL of Congress rather than just targeting Trump’s targets. But investigate away, send a message, either change the law or follow the law.

On the mortgage stuff, sure looks bad and I am sure a slap on the wrist is due. Nickle dime stuff just to make Trump be able to say: see, everyone does what I do (even though his is much more egregious). As to the other, for James, good luck. But try you must because the Trump sycophant circus is in town and they all are vying for the ringmaster’s favor by picking off people from his enemies list, and the list is long. This time it’s William Pulte trying to curry favor. Pulte, whose business paid $13.6M in a 2012 construction defect lawsuit in AZ, $4.7M in 2019 in FL for construction defects, lost a gender discrimination and retaliation lawsuit filed in 2023 and currently faces a shareholder lawsuit seeking access to internal investigation documents related to the wrongful termination of Brandon Jones by Pulte. Yeah, Mr. Law and Order, a righteous guy building faulty houses.

But ask yourself, why is Trump’s DOJ only going after Trump targets, only liberals, only to the left? If you say because only Democrats are bad, the facts say different and only using the law to go after half the country is not the right thing to do. The thing the founders would do. The thing that a “law and order” President would do. But on the mortgage scandal, what do you think: no one else in Congress is doing this, and if they are, they are all Democrats? Surely you can’t be that naïve. Why aren’t they investigating everyone in Congress on this?

HB says: “Who knows? It might be a domino effect. Like coming after Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Wow!!!! Can we only imagine?” No HB, I do not think we have to imagine today’s reality. And you are not alone in the concept of targeting Democrats alone. Be careful what you ask for. They may come for me, but they are lying to you to control you while they give you beans and live high on the hog on the spoils. Turnabout is fair play, November 2026 is fast approaching, we will send a message then, and close it all down starting in January of 2027. And you will still have your beans.

Dunger I want libturds out of power because of their embracing Marxist ideology. I know that you don’t believe that. Of course both parties are imperfect. But the thoughts of kumbreath Harris becoming president is scary. I know that the bitch isn’t running again but we dodged the bullet. But you never say anything about why democrats would do better. All you do is spout hatred for Trump. The truth is that you’re not good enough to kiss his ass And he will always have MAGA. Now and forever. But go ahead and tell us what you haven’t been telling. How is socialism going to help us in the long run? You don’t even know how to answer that. I can expect a babbling word salad. But nothing true. You don’t explain anything. Just lecture without saying anything.

Haroldunger Blankashit: of course I do not believe that liberals embrace Marxist technology ideology because I know that you cannot prove one policy or program that Democrats have passed that is a Marxist program or policy. BUSTED

I see no need to highlight Democratic programs and policies now, if for no other reason that you own all three branches of government: in other words, the ball is in your court. But for the record, in history. Social Security System, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Public Works Administration (PWA), Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Medicare, Medicaid, Civil Rights Act of 1964, Voting Rights Act of 1965, Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, Job Corps, Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA), and Food Stamp Act of 1964. That’s just to 1970. And yes, there have been issues, especially issues cropping up over time, some have issues with funding, but all in all, these are programs that help the country.

I wonder about your fascination with ass and people kissing it. Special personal issue here?

You ask about socialism, you ask about Marxism, you say I am both, you are being foolish. I am a capitalist. I have capital. I invest said capital in capitalism. My career spans decades as a P&L product line manager for a Fortune 100 company. Pretty sure that defines capitalism. I started by the Japanese and South Korea’s how to compete in the capitalist US market. Then I entered my career teaching American capitalist companies how to compete with foreign telecom manufacturers. As much as I repeat this, your head remains firmly implanted up your ass, which I am sure pleases your ass worship to no end.

America has always been a mix of capitalism and socialism. Starting with Benjamin Franklin’s library system all the way out to Social Security. Let’s face it, even the army can be considered as a socialistic endeavor. Perhaps you need to look up the definition of these terms. I will wait but I’m pretty sure you cannot provide one program or policy that Democrats have passed that is a Marxist program or policy. Matter of fact, I am pretty sure it would be a solid wager against your even knowing what Marxism is. I know I don’t.

The fact that you define more than half of the country as turds pretty much says it all. You hate many, if not most of your countrymen. I do not hate Republicans. I do not like Trump as a professional or as a person based on prior and present deeds and actions. I detest his character and lack of integrity. But what I am after discussion of ideas. You appear to not be able to step up to that since you don’t have a clue.

Not sure what this has to do with James/Schiff and mortgages, but hey, your other topic was ass.

Back to the issues, try it.

Here goes Dunger. Gimmee gimmee to illegal wet backs. Spread the wealth around as per bathhouse Barry. Gun grabbing. Open borders to help usher in communism so they can throw the immigrants under the bus later. The lead candidate for New York mayor wants the city to own businesses and has been saying that private property should become property of the government. Also your party shows hostility to anyone who opposes them. We get called Nazis and fascist. But it’s not our party who assaulted people and almost killed a woman in Cincinnati. Our party didn’t burn and loot during the so called summer of Floyd the druggie. And the list goes on. But no matter. You’re to fucking stupid to understand. But understand this. We’re not having any of it. We are MAGA and we aren’t going anywhere.

  4. Frank danger

Willdunger: Name a marxist program or policy that Democrats have made law.
