John Kerry Must Resign

Secretary of State John Kerry’s outrageous statements concerning the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack make it very clear he is not fit to be Secretary of State.  If we are to have any credibility with our allies in the fight against terrorism, John Kerry must resign.

His statement was “There’s something different about what happened from Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that. There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of – not a legitimacy, but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, okay, they’re really angry because of this and that.”

This statement blaming the victims for the attacks is reprehensible. Is Kerry next going to blame rape victims for being raped?

Are we apologizing for terrorists now?  Is Kerry so naive he believes terrorism is OK as long as you can make up a good excuse? Is he so heartless as to blame the victims with the Charlie Hebdo magazine for their own deaths?

Kerry is not naive, he is not making off-handed remarks. This statement reveals an inherent weakness in his character, that his policy is terror attacks occur because we have done something wrong, we have somehow offended radical Islam and therefore any acts are justified.  In short, its our fault.

Kerry doesn’t seem to realize radical Islam follows the precept that it must expand, conquer its neighbors and either kill them or convert them to Islam. Any reason they provide is merely a pretext. And if you look hard enough I am sure you will find someone, somewhere who has provided a pretext for the more recent attacks in Paris. (If you want to see their strategy for undermining a country, read this).

His lack of spine and mealy-mouthed character were evident in his negotiations with Iran, resulting in the worst possible deal.

Chris Christie told him to “get some sleep and shut up.”  This is good advice.
