Jimmy Carter has Cancer
Former President Jimmy Carter, who is 90 years old, underwent surgery to remove a small mass on his liver. It was found to be cancerous. Mr. Carter has said “I will be rearranging my schedule as necessary so I can undergo treatment by physicians at Emory Healthcare.” More information will be forthcoming.
Jimmy Carter was President of the United State from 1976 to 1980, and former governor of Georgia, Democrat, nuclear engineer and peanut farmer.
While we at the Punching Bag Post disagree with most of Mr. Carter’s past political actions, there is no doubting his integrity, sincerity and good intentions. We wish Mr. Carter the best in his process of recovery.
