January 6 and Document cases dismissed … others crumbling

President Trump is on a roll – racking up huge wins.  Of course, his biggest victory was on Election Day 2024 when he won an amazingly huge comeback victory — arguably the greatest comeback in American political history.  It was particularly impressive because unlike most comebacks – which occur long after the loss – Trump won reelection to the presidency as he flew through unprecedented and intensifying political flak for the past four years.

The never-Trump coalition was maniacally desperate to stop Trump at all costs.  They pulled out every tactic and dirty trick in the book.  With the aid of a politically corrupt news media, the never-Trump coalition slandered him with the most absurd and fantastical narratives of insurrections, coup attempts, fascism, Nazism, Hitler comparisons and the fall of the American Republic.  And they failed miserably – as they well deserved.

After years of being on the ropes with two impeachments, a record number of court cases – many motivated more by politics than the rule-of-law – and constant demonization, Trump has prevailed.

Trump’s reelection to the presidency was not only an amazing political victory, but it was also a legal victory.  Cases that appeared to be politically motivated and were in process came to a crashing halt.  Protected by the presidency from lawsuits and indictments, the pending cases – many on weak legal grounds – were relegated to the trash bin.

Two of the most prominent cases – the charges that Trump led an insurrection on January 6, 2021, and that he illegally took government documents from the White House to his Mar-a-Lago home – were dismissed (without prejudice) by special counsel Jack Smith.  “Without prejudice” means that the cases can theoretically be restarted after Trump leaves office.  Fat chance of that.

It appears that in the inappropriately charged RICO case in Georgia, Trump will be removed.  That leaves the issues of the other defendants.  But without Trump, that case loses a lot of justification.

As important as the reversals in the January 6 and Documents cases may be, it was an earlier event that started to bend the trend in Trump’s favor.  Trump’s first big win prior to the election was the Supreme Court decision regarding presidential immunity.  The mavens of the left-wing had spun the ruling as if it were some dramatic innovation or unique reversal of past practices.  In fact, it was more of a clarification than plowing new ground.

The Constitution and the Supreme Court have long held that presidents are immune from prosecution while in office – and for acts performed as part of their presidential duties.  You just cannot have a President being hamstrung by endless politically motivated prosecutors and civil lawsuits.  That protection was mostly theory until Democrats broke tradition and used the courts as political weapons.  Thus, the clarification by the High Court.

The Founders had provided a way for a President to be held accountable for serious violations of law while in office.  It is called impeachment and subsequent removal from the office.  It was the Founders’ intention that impeachment only be considered in the case of the most serious “high crimes and misdemeanors.”  Unfortunately, there is no precise definition of “high crimes and misdemeanors.”   Current events have shown that a President can be impeached for political reasons at the whim of a simple majority of the House – even if the impeachment is the result of the partisan votes of only one party.

A number of Trump cases that reached a verdict in the past year or so are not entirely settled.  The campaign finance case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is still awaiting sentencing – and is under appeal.  Many legal experts believe the case has a good chance of being completely overturned on appeal.

The civil case brought by E. Jean Carroll has resulted in an extraordinarily high financial penalty.  That is currently under appeal.  Again, many legal experts believe the size of the judgment will be reduced significantly.

While the anti-Trump crowd suggest – or even erroneously say – that Trump was found guilty of rape … or sexual assault.  In fact, the plaintiff’s effort to have rape as part of the charge was rejected by the court.  Trump was not even convicted of sexual assault.  He was found guilty of defamation … slander.  It was this defamation case that the anti-Trumpers thought would be the political death blow to the presidential bid.  In fact, it had no impact whatsoever.  It did not even appear to impact Trump’s female vote.

There is an explanation for why none of these cases knocked Trump out of the race – and why they even appear to increase his support among voters.  The only conceivable reason is that voters saw them as politically driven.  Using the RICO law in George was a stretch.  The campaign finance case in New York seemed rigged from the start. The special counsel was appointed by the Department of Justice only after Trump started to run for a second terms.  In fact, all the cases were filed after he launched his campaign.  All by politically ambitious Democrat prosecutors.  And all in jurisdictions in which the jury pool was overwhelmingly composed of anti-Trump Democrats.  It would seem that a majority of voters saw the cases collectively as lawfare.

A year or so ago, political pundits were predicting that Trump would be taken down by the court cases.  That they would consume too much of his time and attention for him to campaign effectively.  Some suggested that even one conviction would abruptly end his quest for reelection.  There was some speculation that former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley continued her quest for delegates even though Trump had secured the nomination in the belief – or hope – that a conviction or two would force him out.

All those court cases – that once seemed like boulders descending on Trump — are now little more than dust at his feet.  His opponents often said that the reason he ran again was to get out of the court cases.   If that was part of his motivation, it worked.  However, I personally believe he had two other motivations – to get the last laugh on his opponent (and he did that big time) and to finish the job he started for the benefit of the American people (and he will now get that opportunity).

So, there ‘tis.

No. They will just deny most everything that happened, blame others for the remainder, find a new cause, and rebrand themselves. Just another government organization that will never go away.

And yet more partisan bullshit from the great oracle of Boca. While I am not a lawyer, so will not weigh in on the merits of most of the cases, I do have significant experience in government (specifically classification) something you have claimed to be an expert on in the past, but as we have come to understand by many of your previous statements, is a bald faced lie. The documents case is very straightforward, he stole documents from the WH he was not entitled to, many of them were classified (at the very highest level) and would provide serious risk to the US (and our Allie’s) if disclosed to the wrong people. The classified documents (in the 100’s) were totally unprotected at MAL. The only reason he was not convicted of this crime is he had a judge he bought and paid for in south Florida. And the only reason that anyone voted for the orange bastard after this crime came to light is A) the media fell down in explaining the seriousness of this crime to the American public or B) they just don’t give a shit about harm coming to informants or Allie’s with disclosure of this information (you fit into this last category). And no, neither the constitution nor the Supreme Court has ever weighed in on a president being immune from prosecution for their actions. The justice department (part of the executive branch) had made it their policy in the past not to charge sitting president’s. It is obvious that the prevailing thinking prior to the trump court ruling was presidents are not above the law. McConnell refused to advance trumps second impeachment while he was in office saying that he could be convicted in a criminal court afterwards instead, believing justice would be served in that way. Unfortunately it was not, and mainly due to high inflation, we have to deal with another 4 years of the worst president in the last 100 years (at least)

AF-As I noted below, you do not follow the news. Trumps Supreme Court has decided that some actions by a president may be lawful, even if they are completely illegal. This is not in any way based on the constitution, instead the 6 conservative justices did some hand waving and pulled this decision out of thin air-despite what Larry lied about above. While I definitely agree with you-nobody should be above the law, the Supreme Court muddied the waters on all the federal cases trump was charged in, forcing Jack smith to rewrite his cases, even the one as clean cut as the stolen classified documents case that trump is guilty in…

Mike, apparently you are not familiar with classification. Not in the least. POTUS is the ultimate classifying authority, he is free to classify an declassify on a whim, he can hand Putin our launch codes, his word is enough authority to do literally anything with classified documents. If he had them in his possession then they were automatically declassified sufficiently for that purpose. Classification is party of the bureaucracy that he was elected to run. Congress can impeach him, but no law enforcement can touch him.

On the other hand, when Joe Biden was Vice President, he was NOT the classifying authority and could be charged or censured. Hillary Clinton was also guilty with what he did sending classified information on her personal email server (which got people killed). However, when President Obama went on television and said “she didn’t cause any harm” that was instantly grounds for not having violated the law.

Also, members of Congress can become “whistleblowers” and reveal classified information if they think it is in the best interest of the country. They can only be kicked out of Congress, they cannot be prosecuted. One could argue that Biden as VP was elected, but mishandling would still be illegal.

This information is extensively briefed extensively in the intelligence community.

Actually, Joe, apparently you are not up-to-date with classification.

Obama added the VP as being able to declassify in 2009.

You were told before, must have missed that too.

Joe-Your ignorance of this matter is showing. There has never been an argument in court that trump declassified these docs. Trump has made the statement “if i declassified these docs…”. But he didn’t. Even if he would have made that argument, there is a process that yes, despite your ignorance on this matter, that must be followed. There is no record of any of that happening. And, knowing trump as we do, if he had any legal right to have those documents, he would have sued the government so fast that even your mindless head would spin. So please STFU unless you are writing to someone as stupid as yourself..

Oh my God, I cannot wait to see what Larry spews about Democrats in 2026. Will he still be blaming us for 2024-2026? This guy would pull the wings off flies for fun. Here he spews, accuse, and lambasts Democrats from what has been obvious since Trump announced his candidacy so early. He continues to claim mandate, no gay joke this time at least, but Sheridan opened a story about Manchin —- isn’t that what Larry has after meeting with Trump? Ba-dum-bump.

While I expect them to fall, Georgia and New York are on. New York went into delay during time in office, but is in the penalty phase and Trump is a convicted felon, the Felon Rapist King.

The Georgia case will probably, at minimum, be delayed, but Georgia is a toss-up state so, who knows, anything can happen. Although not sure where Horist drew his conclusion. Recently the case against Fanni Willis got shot down, was appealed by Trump, and last month the appeals court just dropped the session. Trump is appealing the entire case based on Federal immunity and there it tis.

Yes, there is a fair chance that, once again, Trump can slip the noose given the delays, his age, and the SCOTUS if his appeals reach there. Although it will be interesting to see the SCOUTS dip into the rights of the States.

The Federal ones, as Horist indicates, are on pause, can be redeemed after Trump leaves office, but again, age, health, and just being tired of the guy will probably let this RIP. Being tired of him has got him off the hook many times. Beyond Horist’s hateful rhetoric about “the other side,” who he claims is “ maniacally desperate to stop Trump at all costs,” the question remains: what are you so afraid of? Why do you not want your hero to have his day in court? Are we that good, is he that weak? You claim: “the pending cases – many on weak legal grounds,” but you are too afraid to show us in court. So, instead, you use your right-wing SCOUTS Presidential Immunity clause to pull a Hawley are run, run, run away like frightened school children. You can’t face the people in court. You claim all this bullshit, but you can’t step into the ring, toe the line, and face the truth — in court. Just another version of Captain Bonespur faking a deferment from Vietnam.

Say what you will, but you ducked court, using some bogus SCOTUS ruling that puts the President above the citizenry in the eyes of the law.

Ask yourself: what would you do if these charges were against Biden? Would you burn down the Capitol? I mean Biden legally pardoned his son: look at your hyperbole. Trump pardons his family, his team, and you say crickets.

And one thing will always be true: he is the Felon Rapist King. Always will be that guy you voted for. Bill Clinton says thank you. His record has finally been beat.

Oh yeah, Larry, when you say: “While the anti-Trump crowd suggest – or even erroneously say – that Trump was found guilty of rape … or sexual assault. In fact, the plaintiff’s effort to have rape as part of the charge was rejected by the court. Trump was not even convicted of sexual assault.” My God you are such a brownshirt. You know that NYS requires penis penetration for rape and that the jury could not conclude that so they went with sexual abuse finding guilty in around three hours. You also know that “In July 2023, Judge Kaplan said that the jury had found that Trump had raped Carroll according to the common definition of the word which did not require the alleged penile penetration. In August 2023, Kaplan dismissed a countersuit and wrote that Carroll’s accusation of “rape” is “substantially true”. This countersuit was stupidly brought by your Felon Rapist King against Carroll for defamation for suing for rape by penis. You cannot guild this lily.

Now that fact that the jury could not see Trump’s penis inside Carroll, well, that’s a fact we can conjecture about forever. Size does matter, apparently, ha ha.

But as you guild your lily, I will tell you the rose has wilted and the guy you let off, the guy you elected as your KIng,, got her alone in a dressing room, slammed her against the wall, pull up her skirt, pulled down her pantyhose, reached inside her panties, and shoved his pig fingers inside her vagina. Remember the Access Hollywood tapes, he thinks they are asking for it. And that’s what you want to sweep under the rug. You can’t. He is a felon. He is a rapist. And he is guilty of sex abuse and then defaming the women after she spoke up. He took control of her, he abused her, and then he used his full power to ruin her job, her life, whatever. You can’t hide from it.

But you know all this, we have done this dance before. ,

Do all crimes demand that there are witnesses in the room? And if those witnesses are liberals, do they still count? How will you ever arrest the Biden crime family, the Hillary cabal, or anyone IF you need a witness present.

Now, I do not spend the amount of time researching that you do. i have no sources in the Marines or at Gitmo and I dion’t even know what “the signal” is. And I don’t believe the internet carte blanche as you do, but I do know how to ask a question of “how do you get a conviction when you don’t have a witness in the room?” And AI says: “If you don’t have a witness to a crime, to secure a conviction, you would need strong circumstantial evidence that, when pieced together, points overwhelmingly to the defendant’s guilt, such as physical evidence like fingerprints, DNA, surveillance footage, or a detailed confession from the defendant, which can be enough to establish the “corpus delicti” (the body of the crime) even without a direct eyewitness.”

And that’s what happened. The jury, which had to include at least one Republican, heard Carroll. They did not hear Trump say much except he did not deny his statement and added: “Asked by Alina Habba, his lawyer, if he ever instructed anyone to hurt Carroll, Trump said: “I just wanted to defend myself, my family and, frankly, the presidency.” I am sure that helped his case…..not. Trump did not, I guess he could not, call any other witnesses to refute Carroll’s testimony. Carroll called 11 witnesses that all made Trump look bad. Many support Carroll’s claim via similar stories of sexual abuse, defamation, and many other things decorum does not allow. Trump brought no witnesses against them either.

The transcripts are all online, you do not need me to see for yourself. You metrics for judgement seem very different for Biden that you would string up today, as guilty, and Trump who is guilty, but you deny the facts in evidence. You even deny that Biden is real, or that he was duly elected in 2016 as President. Sure did not convince Trump or the 1/6-ers.

        I spell my name: danger.

I told you that under Biden, my total assets have never been higher. Yes we lost,. To my way of thinking, that does not absolve the president from past present or future crimes. I find the scotus decision immunizing the president from any and all crimes during his administration to be ridiculous. It’s even more political than the citizens United decision, another terrible Scotus decision. Instead of the rule of law, they want to toss it to the Congress for impeachment, which is a political circus and not a courtroom. I do not agree with that and never will.

Yet, these are the rules that we play by and that we abide by if we are indeed, a nation that is governed by the rule of law and not buy a single man, even if he is the felon rapist King.

But, the bottom line, is that border crossings are down, inflation is down, GDP growth is up, we have never drilled more oil, much more than under Trump, wages arising, unemployment is down, just had a pretty good jobs report, you name it. It is also true that most of the higher median income states are blue and the lower median income states are red. Perhaps you need a change of state? Or maybe a change of color?

The Founders said impeachment is a way to keep a sitting President accountable. However, an impeachment can only happen to a sitting President, the Democrats impeached Trump AFTER he was out of office which is against the Constitution and the laws, or WAS Trump still President and Congress knew it. I have said before and will stick to MY conviction that Trump has been the legal President since 2016 with a FAKE BIDEN in a fake presidency since 2020. Documents? Wow, as Trump was still President, Mar A Lago being his “White House”, all documents were perfectly legal and the FBI plus many in Congress hung themselves over all of the lawsuits and perhaps many of the public that wanted to believe Trump was and is a criminal. Trump called the FBI a few weeks before they invaded Mar A Lago for them to see the security Trump put on all the places the documents were stored and the FBI said it was good but to change one lock to a better lock so why did they need to invade the property? Remember, a man cannot be impeached when not in office. See where this is going? How many of Congress or the public are hiding some kind of criminality all the while trying to take down a President? It would be so good to find out. With Nesara and the EBS signal due to come, when people go to the redemption centers to exchange their fiat money for the new rainbow money, all of us will have to go through one of the nine stations which is designed to read their frequency that will tell what kind of person they are.

Trump was impeached (twice) before he left office, however Mitch refused to convene the senate for his trial before he left office-believing (or so he said) that a criminal trial would be more appropriate than impeachment. The trial was held after democrats assumed control, and in that trial there were 7 republicans who believes differently than you, and voted to convict, however, unfortunately not enough to prevent the bastardized from running for office

This article gets a Stop The Spin (STS) rating of 5. If this article were a sandwich, it would be a bologna sandwich! Actually after reading this article, it is worthy of a flush down the toilet. Again, poor journalism by Larry. Full of lies and spin. Here is why:

    1) I would argue that Truman vs. Dewey was the greatest comeback. Truman did not have four years to plan his comeback. And his Electoral College margin was much larger. This election occurred in the year Larry was born.

    2) Trump did cause an insurrection – Larry is lying on this one. And according to Trump’s first wife Ivanna, Trump used to have Hitler’s speeches by his bedside. Trump is a fascist and an authoritarian. He has never denied this.

    3) Trump was impeached twice. He only prevailed because of Mitch (mushmouth) McConnell who feared Trump’s retribution.

    4) Trump was convicted of digital rape on strong grounds. Trump was convicted of tax cheating on strong grounds. Trump was convicted of fraud on very strong grounds, sentencing was delayed until after his term. He is still on the hook. Smith asked Judge Chutkin to dismiss without prejudice which means the case can be fired up after his term. Smith did the same with the documents case. Trump is still on the hook in the GA RICO case. Larry is lying and spinning things on this one!!!

    5) The Jan 6th case has not been reversed. Larry is lying here. It is on hold.

    6) Trump was impeached on good grounds. Its just that the GOP held the Senate. Mitch McConnell stated in the second impeachment that he can be criminally prosecuted later. That was a lie.

    7) Larry pulled out one of his oldest spin tricks, the “its under appeal” trick. FACT is, the conviction stands. It is only the amount of Trump’s punishment that is under appeal and he will probably lose this appeal. Larry forgot to tell you this!!! Same with the Alvin Bragg case in NY. Trump was convicted, this is a FACT. Trump is trying to wiggle out of it under some supposed immunity. This won’t work. Trump will be sentenced after his term. Larry did not tell the facts, he tried to misdirect your thinking with his “its under appeal” trick. This shows how dishonest Larry is in his writing . He does not care about the full truth.

    8) Larry is lying about voters seeing through and viewing his convictions as politically driven. Larry has no data to support this. Fact is, the majority of voters viewed Trump as guilty of fraud and election interference 34 counts, tax evasion, and yes, rape and defamation of character. Get the real statistics at *https://www.politico.com/poll-trump-voters-opinion-fraud-economy* Larry is giving you post election polls, not pre-election polls.

What Larry does not discuss is all of the buyers remorse about Trump being exhibited now by many voters whom voted for Trump. There is serious nervousness by citizens and markets about his tariffs raising cost of living. Latino citizens are worried about their families being broken up. Many worried about losing health care. Housing industry worried about tariffs because much of our lumber comes from Canada. Trump has been rejected by the President of Mexico and Canada. European presidents and NATO are pushing back on Trump and threatening retaliatory tariffs. Economists say a Trump economy will not be good. Students and parents of all ages worried about Trump closing the Dept. of Education. Women worried about bleeding out on parking lots when something goes wrong with their pregnancy. Seniors are worried about Social Security and Medicare being cut. Many are worried about Musk having too much influence in our federal government. Many voters who voted for Trump to close the border are saying they did not vote for all of the other stuff he is going to try to do. Many feel duped. ALL of these worries did not exist during the Biden administration. Thanks MAGA!!!

Maybe next time that 13% of Dems that stayed home and did not vote will vote.

So there ’tis. Now you have the full truth that Larry refuses to give you.

And two other things I forgot to mention.

      1) Food prices will be going up and could go up as much as 40%

      2) African Americans, especially males, are very pissed and feeling betrayed. They broke for Trump and Trump has only given one cabinet level position to AA’s – the position is HUD Secretary. This is an insult to them! Hey Larry, how do all of your “black friends” you claim to have feel about this???

Tom … On my bs rating you get 100%. You lead with your usual childish insults.

        1. The election was not in the year I was born. More misinformation based on stupidity. And not sure the relevancy of my birth year. And it was not a comeback for Truman, he WAS the incumbent President and won a close election. And my opinion reflects was most pundits and pols have said. You seem along among millions with you disparate opinion.
        2. Sorry, you are lying. Not even special counsel Smith charged Trump with insurrection.
3 Trump was impeached by the two most political impeachments in American history (in my judgment) and was found not guilty by the Senate. Those are the facts. Your comment’s are spin …bs.
        4. Wrong. Trump was not ‘found guilty of “digital rape”. That is a lie. He was found civilly liable for defamation.
        5. You lying even as you say I am lying, Special Counsel asked that the case be DISMISSED without prejudice. That means it is dismissed unless refiled later…and that cannot happen for more than four years. And it is still possible for Trump’s attorneys to ask it to be dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. Not sure what you mean that the case was reversed. That only happens after a decision or verdict. You accusations are simply opinion based on apparent ignorance and arrognace at the same time.
        6. Your jaded opinion. The Senate did not agree ..and that is that facts of the case.
        7. A case is not finally settled until appeals are exhausted. You should know that. And your statement that he will lose the appeal is merely wishful thinking on your part. Most experts see the appeal as 50/50 with an edge for an overturn. Again you misinform. Lie??
        8. Post election polls are the latest … and most voters think the cases were politically motivated. Including guys like Senator Fetterman. Your opinion does not make it fact.

You claims of buyer remorse are fictional. Trump has a higher favorability rating since the election than before. You mist be one of that last MSNBC propaganda cultists since that is the only place i heard the “buyer remorse” nonsense. Given MSNBC’s 54 percent drop in viewership since the election, a think some folks are having left wing propaganda remorse. The only folks who need worry about their agenda are those on the left like you. You side lost and elections have consequences. Your party and your philosophy took a beating. And yes, 13 percent of Dems did not vote … because they did not wish to support their candidates. Duh.

Tom … you have your opinions and that is fine, But you support them with false claims and lies. Shame! Shame!

        OMG … more bs???
        1. You do not have a crystal ball so this comment is irrelevant. You opinion only. Can you prove it?
2.. You now speak for all Blacks … and Black men. This is where you lies connect with your arrogance. Pure personal bs.

I put you in the lair category because I think your are too smart to be so ignorant. But maybe I am wrong. LOL

And the beat goes on, second verse same as the first on the Horist merry-go-round. Or is it musical chairs, The music stops then look who’s left standing.
For a guy who didn’t like Trump as a person, Larry is all love and acceptance of Trump’s bad acts. Trump.in the court of Horist, is not guilty on all the several counts he has been charged with perpetuating. The immunity thing SCOTUS cooked up just for their buddy Trump was predictable. How could the 6 not decide for Trump’s benefit? Thee of the six owe there jobs to the wannabe King Trump. SCOTUS is an outrage for its politically partisan decisions. Apparently tje 6 “conservative” justices revel in poking the public in the eye by upending case law precedent the majority wanted upheld. Both Democrats and Republicans are counted in that majority.
Again, Larry, you are terribly transparent with your head over heels love fest celebrating all things Trump. Mandate spamdate, the general assessment of Trump’s win is that it was razor thin. What’s so mandate-ish about a slim win.
I agree he won. Which only commands a rotten raspberries cheer from this of us who have a clear eyed recall of Trump’s first term. He set the country back a decade or more in social justice and equal treatment under the law cases at minimum. I can’t believe conservatives really want their country set back to September 11, 2001. This time Trump will be inviting terrorist to dinner in the WH.
Larry, you’re making to much opinion commentary hay on account of Trump’s return and not just because he is wearing the Republicans imaginary new clothing.
Hyperbole is fine when it matches the facts. The truth is, the facts don’t match your appraisal. Trump did only receive a temporary reprieve with justice deferred. His legacy as President twice with an actual political mulligan the second time after missing it in 2020. Trump over shot the pin and it’s green after which he claimed the game was rigged as he attempted a win by dropping a new ball onto green, metaphorically speaking.
Trump famously cheats at golf and his golfing partner buddies know it and look the other way. It’s Trump being Trump. Like in every other endeavor Trump enters, politics included, others know there are Trump rules and there are the rules everyone else is expected to live by.
The world Trump grew up in enabled his outside all norms behavior. Now the wider world in general is being made to pay for the consequences of Trump being Trump, still. This time in his life he is crowding age 80 and not matured over his years but nonetheless has been returned to the WH by the Republican scant majority.
Defend Trump as you must for the next four years , but your articles will need a mountain of hyperbole used as cover hiding the uncomplimentary facts. Truth will not be in Trump’s wheelhouse. Truth be told when factchecking goes public.
What will your legacy tell after Trump is done after these next four years? Especially after he could be done as President sooner, you have placed all your ideological poker chips on the line now. Trump asked you to stand and let em roll. You’re all in and history will deal with that whichever way things turn out.
Frank and Tom among others I expect got all their work will not make you honest, that would be the turning of different screw for you.
Too many unredeemable pundits so little time to get it done. Them, why try, it’s futile.

I agree AC. Larry is three feet up Trump’s but and loving the air. It is we who must keep lying sack of poop Larry honest. Larry has no intention of being honest. This is why Larry needs us! Keep up the good work.

AC and Tom: thanks, very good reads. AC, long, to the point, and no weave as the author is prone to do. But I digress….

AC, your criminal summary was perfect; I may have to steal and call it my own, heh heh.

Tom, your spin cut like a knife. Very tight n terse.

AF: suggesting that Tom hire someone to do despicable illegal deeds is just wrong and calls for moderation. We all should exercise moderation in all things. Although I do find “up the butt and lovin the air” priceless. Especially given his head shot. Oh my but the Hemingway one is so much better.

The cases may be diminished, in hiding or soon to be gone, but what Trump does next is always the question. This Lazarus Lothario has more lives than a cat. Perhaps the best survivor of all time. Too bad it has to be over other people’s backs.
Often his own workers, suppliers, customers and fans.

Larry and his faithful believe in resurrection and the second coming of Trump. Horist can even forgive all his legal sins, or most of them, or enough of them to vote for him. Like the swing voters that put him over the top, soon, they will see what actions his words actually meant. I have contended this is not Trump 2016, this is Trump 2021, Insurrection Trump. Revenge and retribution Trump. Trump’s last stand and I am sure it’s a priority to figure out how to get more than four. Better than eight. Horist loves his policies and likes a lot of Project 2025. He said so. And both claim Trump has nothing to do with Project 2025. Bulllshit. It’s all about Project 2025, Project 2025 is the black heart and twisted soul of the Republican party. Larry likes most of it and Trump hires many from it. It is a work in progress over the last 50 years.

If Trump does not know Project 2025, and Trump hires most of his talent from Project 2025, then how would Trump know when and if his advisors are projecting Project 2025 into Trump policy, and does Trump have ANY policy that is not Project 2025? Since he says he never read Project 2025, how would he even know? Here’s a quick primer from a Danger-ous mind:

Eliminate up to a million federal jobs
Expect deep budget cuts, elimination and privatization of agencies and programs, hiring freezes, caps on the number of personnel. While Trump can hire and fire his appointees at the top, he will need new law, or to break old laws, to get at the lower echelons. The “swamp” is protected against party recrimination by EITHER PARTY.

Declare public unions illegal and take away union rights
They will attempt to hold public sector jobs outside the realm of Unions. The key will be IF they reinstate Schedule F, which reclassifies any career federal employee whose job connects to federal policy. Now they can hire and fire for political reasons. More than 500,000 employees could be affected.

Gut federal workers’ pay and benefits
The key is here replacement of the General Schedule and Wage Grade systems with a pay system that has different metrics like following orders, loyalty, whatever. The second key is cutting retirement benefits claiming “market match” which is doubly scary when one considers half the market offers no benefits. Usually in red states.

Make it easier to discriminate against people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ people
It’s all in the test, and how they test. Watch the test changes to see. Second, transparency, which we should watch everywhere. But here, for DEI, if you don’t count, how would anyone know.

    Dismantle and privatize federal agencies
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will be eliminated. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) would be privatized. The Department of Education will be eliminated and handed to the States. Good luck Louisiana and Mississippi. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be moved to the Department of Interior or the Department of Transportation if combined with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The costs of disaster preparedness and response would be shifted to states and local governments. Good luck Louisiana and Mississippi. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s regional labs and offices of enforcement and compliance and scientific integrity and risk information will be eliminated. Good luck Louisiana and Mississippi. Drink up Buttercup. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will be privatized and all many hospitals and clinics closed. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) would be taken apart and shifted to the States and other agencies. The Department of Justice (DOJ) would lose its independence and be under control of the Felon Rapist King. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be drastically reduced and split into two entities: one gathering scientific data and one making public health recommendations and policies. On this one, again, watch the transparency disappear at the data tracking is privatized and outsourced.

This is what they propose. Trump will attempt much of this. He has already said so. Just based on the magnitude of this sea change, there will be massive failures if he tries. Remember, we are talking about a guy who, if you add up all the attempts, has failed more than win in his business with failures abounding. Trump personally escaped the failures, only his workers, suppliers, and customers suffered. And then, please sir, can we buy some more? Trump water, Trump steaks, Atlantic City, Trump University, Trump Foundation, NJ Generals, 6 bankruptcies, 4,000 legal cases, Trump The Game, Trump Vodka, Airlines, GoTrump.com, Trump Mortgages, Trump Ice, Trump Magazine, and more. He close/sold Trump Tower Tampa, Trump SoHo, Trump Baku Hotel, Trump DC and more. His biggest win is being able to float his life, and failures, on other people’s money at ever increasing interest rates. Given his Presidency, probably feeling pretty good about his latest deal with the loan sharks. Bankers shun him and he’s left to sketchy investment brokers, mysterious men in shady South Florida.

    I spell my name: Danger.

I was on the wrong side of the street at the bad end of town where angles fear to tread. When I hit the streets the rain had already turned Newark nto a mud river. It was a short swim down Eastern Ave to my Tesla I had to get to Morristown in a big hurry. As I whipped on to 280, the lights were just twinkling on across the Secaucus Meadowlands I could barely make them out through the driving rain, then a hard right down the Canyon. My tires squealed as I hit Route 80. A right. A left. A left. Another right, a left to the body, a right and into a gas station. (brakes) Hey, Pop! You got a bathroom?
