Jade Helm 15: Innocent Military Training or Federal Takeover in Disguise?
The controversial military exercise known as “Jade Helm 15” began yesterday and is scheduled to last until September 15th. The domestic training exercise will span seven southwestern states, making it the largest of its kind to occur within US borders.
The clandestine operation involves more than 1,000 soldiers, including members of the Special Ops, Marines, and Navy SEALS. The goal of the exercise, according to the Pentagon, is to help soldiers practice “unconventional warfare.” The exercise itself is certainly unconventional. Secrecy is a huge part of the operation, which will be conducted under the mysterious motto, “Mastering the Human Domain.”
“They’re testing their abilities to basically blend in with the local environment and not stand out and blow their cover,” explained Texas chief deputy Roy Boyd. So instead of Humvees barreling down the streets, we’re going to see soldiers sneaking around at night?
According to an unclassified Army map, Utah and Texas will be considered “hostile territory” during Jade Helm 15. Texas is often used for military training due to its vast expanses of uninhabited land with conditions similar to those in the Middle East.
Citizens living in areas soon to be “invaded” grow nervous that the operation is more than just a training exercise. Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist and radio host in Austin, TX, announced that the exercise is not an exercise at all, but a federal takeover of Texas.
While he doesn’t believe in the takeover theory, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has taken action to protect the citizens of our country’s second-largest state. He announced earlier this week: “I’ve ordered the Texas State Guard to monitor Jade Helm 15 to safeguard Texans’ constitutional rights, private property & civil liberties.”
The media has been welcomed to take part in past military training operations, but this time all media access has been denied. Sites like InfoWars.com are trying to expose the truth of this suspicious exercise while being demonized by mainstream media.
The fact that no news coverage of Jade Helm 15 is allowed combined with the lies already associated with the mission has the public even more worried. Before the start of the exercise, Army officials had stated that private landowners came to them offering land for military use. It was soon discovered that the military had in fact offered money to said landowners in exchange for use of their property.
According to Army officials: “The public can expect little disruption in their day-to-day activities since much of the exercise will be conducted in remote areas. The most noticeable effect the exercise may have on the local communities is a slight increase in vehicle traffic and the limited use of military aircraft and its associated noise.”
According to Ted Cruz, “There’s nothing wrong with people questioning the government.” And that’s just what we’re doing now with this unprecedented military operation.
Even Chuck Norris has spoken up: “If you haven’t heard about Jade Helm 15, you need to. It is a multi-state training mission for special operations soldiers…with most of the activity happening on private property.”
