It is increasingly obvious … Biden is losing it.

It is increasingly obvious … Biden is losing it.

Any references to President Biden’s physical and mental decline are met by Team Biden with over-the-top claims of super-human abilities.  MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough says Biden is “better than ever.”  White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly brags about Biden’s energy and mental abilities.  “We can hardly keep up with him,” is the cliché exaggeration.

To keep up the superhuman narrative, Biden’s handlers insulate him from as much unscripted impromptu exposure as possible.  His public statements are mostly read from the teleprompter in a closed environment.  He holds fewer press conferences than any modern President – and has virtually dispensed with taking questions from reporters.

Biden has become famous for note (cheat) sheets that provide instructions of the most basic level – like “greet guests” and “take your seat.”

Even with the guardrails, Biden frequently gaffes, misstates or seems to be pausing in some sort of senior moment. He appears confused at times.  He often appears to be unsteady on his feet – and occasionally falls.

Like Franklin Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, the manipulation of family and staff can conceal a great deal of reality concerning both mental and physical conditions.  That is because Biden has not lost it completely – but appears to be in the early stages of mental decline.  Anyone who has had parents, friends or a partner going down the road of mental decline knows the symptoms.  There are good days and bad – or sad – days – with the latter becoming inevitably more frequent.  And one thing we are for certain. It will only get worse in the future.

Because the President of the United States is not accessible to the people – and lives in political isolation – he can be figuratively bubble wrapped.  Rather than an interactive President, we can be left with a virtual President whose appearances are increasingly crafted …staged … produced like a character in a movie.

But … there are limits. The fact that the more frail and diminished Biden is occasionally seen through cracks in the façade demonstrates that no amount of control and craftmanship can completely disguise the obvious.

Even more telling was a recent report in the Wall Street Journal that went backstage – revealing more serious concerns expressed by those interacting with Biden in business meetings.  At the White House celebration of Juneteenth (nine days ahead of the actual holiday), Biden appeared to be statue-like – with a Sardonic smile — for a prolonged period as those around him danced and clapped vigorously to the music. That is not normal.

Let me be perfectly clear.  I do believe because of the nature of the office, the surrounding of handlers and the benefits of modern technology, Biden can – at this moment – function well enough to perform the duties as President. He can have his good days.

But … more and more he seems to lose his train of thought … appears confused … freezes … mumbles incoherently.  If you compare videos of the 2020 Biden with today, the change is obvious and dramatic.

If these were his last days in office, there would be no issue to raise.  Giving him four more years, however, would be reckless disregard for the office of the President.  The only justification would be a willingness or desire to have President Harris in the future.

Biden has not yet lost his ability to function with a lot of help and protection.  But he is in the process of “losing it.”  That is undeniable.  And he will not improve in the future.

So, there ‘tis.

Horist may be jumping the shark on this one :>)

In another reality, on the planet Trump, a conversation from “THE MIND OF TRUMP.”

“It’s a problem, sir. They want us to make all-electric boats. The problem is the boat is so heavy it can’t float. Also, it can’t go fast because of the weight.” Then he wavers and waxes on about how wrong it is to mandate electric boats when no regulation exists. He dithered on: “So I said, ‘Let me ask you a question, and the guy (who does not exist) said, ‘Nobody ever asked this question,’ and it must be because of MIT, my relationship to MIT —very smart. (ok, his “relationship to MIT is his Uncle who he lies about to indicate how smart he is because he has a smart Uncle) Trump continues ‘What would happen if the boat sank from its weight? And you’re in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery is now underwater and there’s a shark that’s approximately 10 yards over there? By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately, do you notice that, a lot of sharks? I watched some guys justifying it today. ‘Well, they weren’t really that angry. They bit off the young lady’s leg because of the fact that they were, they were not hungry, but they misunderstood what who she was.’ These people are crazy. He said there’s no problem with sharks. ‘They just didn’t really understand a young woman swimming now.’ It really got decimated and other people do a lot of shark attacks. So I said, so there’s a shark 10 yards away from the boat, 10 yards or here, do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking? Water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking. Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted? Because I will tell you, he didn’t know the answer. He said, ‘You know, nobody’s ever asked me that question.” (NO JOKE) But wait, Trump had more “I think it’s a good question.’ I think there’s a lot of electric current coming through that water. But you know what I’d do if there was a shark or you get electrocuted, I’ll take electrocution every single time. I’m not getting near the shark. So we’re going to end that.”
Don’t blame me for storytelling of the embellishment variety Horist, this one is one your vote: Trump. But you like the policies. Author Steven King noted: “This is like listening to your senile uncle at the dinner table after he has that third drink.” (I was also reminded of a classic Grandpa Simpson harangue.)

This is not Trump’s first, or probably last, time to go after electric boats. First for the sharks though.

Personally Mr. Horist, I will take a some old timer’s memory loss over bat shit crazy stupid any day of the week. Hope you liked the personal story…. See, everyone who is anyone does it. Do you like my policies now? :>)

In terms of commentary and analysis, I’m not even sure where to start, though it’s worth emphasizing that Trump first started worrying about electrocuted boaters several months ago in a speech in Michigan. Those remarks, however, didn’t include any sharks.

I wonder if Trump was talking about the General Dynamics facility in the Northeast where they build submarines. The division is called “Electric Boat”. This off script wandering of thoughts may be another sign of his demential See *https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-dementia-evidence-overwhelming-top-psychiatrist-1881247*. I’m sure as Trump keeps repeating this story he will embellish it more…. so lets wait and see! Here is a top psychologists diagnosis on Trump’s comments and behaviors at *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apBYSBO2axc* You will find it interesting!

Before Milwaukee comments, Forbes had Trump ahead of Biden by 2%. The Economist had Trump ahead of Biden by 1%. Newsweek has Biden ahead of Trump by 1 point. I would bet Trump lost quite a few votes from Milwaukee when he called Milwaukee a “horrible city”. Of course Lara Trump and her GOP minions scrambled to put out different stories of what Trump said demonstrating the statement Larry made in this article when he said, “Like Franklin Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, the manipulation of family and staff can conceal a great deal of reality concerning both mental and physical conditions. ” Seems like Larry should be writing this statement about Trump! If you want to hear more on Trump’s psychosis, see *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwvkXyPp-_g* Its interesting! It gets indepth about Trump’s pathology showing in his policies rather than informed decision making. Seems like Larry resonates with Trump’s pathologies!

The latest 6/15 polls are showing voters are gaining trust in Biden’s ability to handle the economy. Latest data indicates inflation is slowly coming down a little and that Powell will be lowering the interest rate by later this year. In my area food and gas have both come down a little but I am still looking for lower. There is still plenty of time to lower inflation.

I agree and many Indies would agree to choosing slow normal aging decline over batshit crazy!

Your Potato Devil boy Bidunce gets smoked in a hotter lower hell than Trump is going to. Jesus Christ HATES pedophile Joe Biden. Moron Joe better sleep because that 45 IQ retard is getting severe damnation and in punishment in the lowest hottest hell and the monster deserves it. Biden will never sleep or rest for all eternity and not a drop for burning tongue for all eternity. God won’t suffer his BS forever. Judgement and damnation is coming on that moron potato. I’m rejoicing already at the eternal destruction of Biden and the satanic vile left. Good riddance in advance lefties.

        • Tom

Not sure why you wrote this comment to me. I am an Independent just reporting what is truthful. I do not care who likes it and who does not. I do not like either candidate. But on that issue of fiery hell, check your bible and you will find that Jesus dislikes a judgemental person more than a left leaning president. And he also hates those who bear false witness against their brother. So get ready! I hear its hot down there.

By the way, Jesus was a left leaning in the way he treated others. Who else do you know would tell God to forgive the people nailing him to the cross? MAGA would scream for the rule of law and revenge! But Jesus stayed silent and took the pain so we did not have to.

          • Archir

Christ came to fulfill the plan of salvation. And anyone who received Jesus would never arrive in hell. We will never be perfect humans but Christ forgives us of past, present and future sins. Meaning? There’s nothing that Biden or Trump could or have done that Jesus wouldn’t forgive. So if you’re without sin…. Throw stones!!!!!

      • larry Horist

Tom … I just learned that you gave Olivier the “Horist Idiot Award” in response to an Olivier commentary. LMAO You and Frank do a lot of talking ABOUT me gratuitously — even when I am not involved and your contribution is limited to irrelevant sophomoric insults. I am flattered that I occupy so much of your mind — as pitiful as that is. Of course, there is a lot of empty space to occupy. I know you are obsessed for some reason — and cannot help yourself. So, I forgive you.

        • Tom

Larry ole son, rest assured, you occupy very little of my mind. Sorry. Oliver writes ridiculous spin just like you. But hey, I support your right to think you are a legend in your own mind. Go for it. Glad I could give you some joy!

          • larry Horist

Tom … Even your attempt at insults is feeble. And you are writing on a thread that is more than two weeks old. So basically this is a personal communication. LOL

    • Harry

You are a joke and yet you cant recognize a joke!!

Vote Joe for US total Destruction, why? Because we are over 1/2 way there thanks to the last 3.5 years of Biden!

  2. Jake macz

Biden has always been a dim bulb. Do remember that he graduated 76 th. out of 85 students from the University of Syracuse Law School. He’s be on a downward trajectory since then. His poor performance from his gaffs has always been complicated by his continuous lies.

  3. larry Horist

Frank Stetson … Once again you deflect from the topic to engage in your typical whataboutism rant. You say you will take Biden’s memory loss. I am pleased that you recognize it and agree with the point of this commentary.

    • Frank stetson

I appreciate you reading my post and it pleases you. But I think you are jumping the ahark by only covering half the “losing it “ angle so glad to add what your old age made you forget.

      • Tom

Yes, Larry is doing a lot of forgetting these days! And his data is old like him. But I agree, nice to see that he is reading your posts! Like I said, he has a “Secret Frank Garden” !!! Good that you reminded him of Trump’s freaky speeches.

I am not clear what Larry feels is “whataboutism”. All you did was repeat what Trump said; which is also documented. By the way, FOX did not run that part of the speech so Larry may be under-informed on this one.

  4. jefz

Anyone stating “Biden with over-the-top claims of super-human abilities, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough says Biden is “better than ever.” merely reflects they are not only dishonest, totally untrustworthy and likely ignorant as well .

  5. Robert Richey

Better than ever? Unless you’re grading on the curve better than ever and energy and mental abilities are way down on the grading scale. I’m a little older than Joe and have lived in the same world. For me, it’s easy to see that Joe has no business in the White House. I have to remind myself daily to not blame Joe for the dumb things coming out of the White House as anyone with a lick of sense knows Joe is not responsible for any of the nonsense.

  6. Evelyn

    Biden name = criminal

  7. Darren

Wow, hard to believe smart people can be so stupid in the face of facts.
But then who ever stated that these individuals were ever smart to begin with?
This would include people who do not believe their own eyes, ears, and fail to comprehend
what is taking place in front of them.
Respond if you are one of these people!

  8. kri

So glad this vile sadistic devil boy monster gets incinerated for all eternity in the lowest hottest hell for all eternity. Jesus hates Joe Biden with perfect hate! AMEN!

  9. Jim wampler

After Trump becomes president Trump again Tom and Frank will need to refer to him as president Trump. But Biden should never be called president Biden because he’s not really in leadership because he’s too stupid to make decisions. He’s put up to everything. Also he wasn’t duly elected.

  10. AC

This article and the various persons commenting in Reply establish what we all know. Larry, Frank, Tom, and others have pre-established opinions on Biden and Trump relative to each gent’s mental capacity.
Comparison between the two rises and falls in direct relation to one’s party affiliation. It a ludicrous topic when Republican Larry sets fingers to keyboard in a written attempt to voice his opinion on the opposition party’s presumptive candidate. Given Larry’s backstory it’s no shock that yet another opus of Larry’s on his fav subject, Biden. No surprise, but predictable is this further foray into Larry’s Biden as told in fictional tale style.
Horist work as it concerns Biden reminds of the researcher studying Biden searches through available data on Biden, but began his study with a predetermined answer to the hypothesis’ central question. His data gleaned from reference material when seen as a whole points in one direction. Well, well, the sum of the data supports Larry’s original working title.
His theory he proved with diligent scholastic investigative research, therefore his facts tell the true story. Why would someone question the article’s backing. In point of fact, Larry has no need for form and references are irrelevant. Any question? Don’t bother Larry with them.

    • Tom

Larry is a legend in his own mind. As for me AC, I am an Independent who’s only goal is to call out Larry’s often lies, spin, and dishonesty by omission. I try to create balance to Larry’s article. And he appreciates my Stop The Spin rating system – he has told me so. Personally, I do not like either candidate. And I do consider Larry a colleague. And I like your hypothesis! I agree. Larry starts with his opinion, and searches for ways to fill the box of his opinion.
