<p>The Islamic State has successfully founded a new capital in North Africa, spreading its influence outside Iraq and Syria and within sight ;of Europe. The coastal city of Sirte, just a few hundred miles from Italy, has now become the main hub for the Islamic State&rsquo;s Libya wing.</p>
<p>When asked on Meet the Press about the rise of the Islamic State in Africa, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) called the  ;U.S. military engagement in Libya &ldquo;Hillary&rsquo;s war&rdquo; and stated the rise of the Islamic State is not a result of President Obama&#8217;s inaction in the Middle East but the unintended consequence of the U.S. military engagement in Libya.</p>
<p>The former Secretary of State&rsquo;s push to arm militants with ties to al Qaeda would prove disastrous, when the very same groups which benefited from the financial and militaristic backing of America would kill four Americans in Benghazi. ;</p>
<p>After Ghadaddi&rsquo;s was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered &#8211; though not necessarily in that order &#8211;  ;in the streets by Clinton&rsquo;s freedom and democracy loving rebels, a power vacuum was created. Since the former leader&rsquo;s death, Libya has become a safe haven for Islamic extremists to thrive and rule.</p>
<p>The Islamic State&#8217;s conquest of Sirte proves that the so-called &#8216;caliphate&#8217; continues to grow, despite the Obama administrations half-hearted efforts to curb its growth. If Libya is any example of Hilary&rsquo;s decision making ability, her presidency is truly a terrifying proposition. That is, unless you&rsquo;re a Islamic extremist.</p>
