So much has been said about the Iranian nuclear deal, but the quote that best captures the Obama administration’s point of view came during the deal’s initial announcement.

Here is that passage:

“When you hear the inevitable critics of the deal sound off, ask them a simple question: do you really think that this veritable deal, if fully implemented backed by the world’s powers, is a worse option than the risk of another war in the Middle East?” ;

While the Obama administration clearly believes the Iranian deal will prevent future wars in the Middle East, Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei is adamant about the falsehood of such a claim.

Khamenei has published a new book called “Palestine,” a 416 page fulmination against Israel. The back cover credits Khamenei as “the flag bearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem.” He recommends is a long period of low-intensity warfare designed to make life unpleasant if not impossible for a majority of Israeli Jews so that they leave the country. In addition, the radical cleric describes the holocaust as a Western lie to garner support for Jews.

The book has not yet been commented on by the Obama administration, and there is little indication that the White House considers this book a reason to be concerned. ;

If a world leader consistently tells the international community of their intention to cause harm to others, there is reason enough to believe they are serious about actually committing such an act.

With Iran growing stronger and more adamant about the destruction of Israel every day, how long will it be before the Jewish State is forced to protect itself? ;On that unfortunate day, when war breaks out throughout the Middle East, Barack Obama will have to clarify his boastful, misguided quote for the international community.
