Inspector General Confirms Clinton Emails Contained Most Secretive Intel
According to a letter sent last week by Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III to senior lawmakers, the emails on Hillary Clinton’s homebrew server contained information that was more than secret. In fact, a recent review conducted by intelligence agencies located several dozen emails that contained intelligence classified as SAP (special access programs).
To give you an idea, SAP is one step above TOP SECRET. “There is absolutely no way that one could not recognize SAP material,” a former senior law enforcement member told Fox News. “It is the most sensitive of the sensitive.”
The SAP intel in question was so sensitive, in fact, that McCullough and his aides had to obtain special clearance just to be read in on the info before viewing the sworn declaration regarding the Clinton emails.
Meanwhile, Hillary and her campaign team continue to whine that the information wasn’t sensitive at the time. Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon blames Republican lawmakers for continuing to “selectively leak materials in order to resurface the same allegations and try to hurt Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.”
Access to SAP is generally restricted to individuals with a “need-to-know” based on the fact that exposure of the information could reveal the source, putting people or methods of intelligence collection at risk.
“To date, I have received two sworn declarations from one [intelligence community] element. These declarations cover several dozen emails containing classified information determined by the IC element to be at the confidential, secret, and top secret/SAP levels,” the IG told lawmakers. “According to the declarant, these documents contain information derived from classified IC element sources.”
