I don’t recall Republicans giving Democrats much chance to speak when they impeached Bill Clinton. That was strictly a partisan affair, and Republicans paid the price. Hey, guess what, elections matter.
There is no defense for of what President Trump has done. Republicans are grandstanding away their opportunities to find out the truth, because they don’t want to hear the truth. And regardless of whether or not a lone whistleblower is unmasked, President Trump tried to coerce Ukraine, withholding millions of dollars of military aid, to get a “favor”, a bribe in the form of dirt on Joe Biden. Extortion and bribery are two sides of the same coin, and are a sign of the corruption of this administration. Trump’s own people, who were running this shit-show, said “there was no dirt on Biden, that was fake”. Little by little, Schiff, as much as you hate him and call him names and call his process unfair, is drawing the net tighter and closer to Trump.
Trump has no friends – he cut loose Manfort and Cohen and most recently Stone – as soon as they were in legal trouble, it’s “I barely knew them”. Guiliani, Sondland, Volker, Perry, Pompeo, and Bolton – these guys know Trump will happily let them go to jail, and not lift a finger to help them. They will have no loyalty to Trump when the choice is him or jail. They also know that there are many witnesses, and they can’t lie their way out of this. So, the only alternative is to tell the truth, and all fingers will point to Trump demanding payment for something he didn’t own in the first place.
Shame on Horist for attacking the process and ignoring the crimes committed by President Trump, and shame on all the people who still think Trump has done nothing wrong. They are blindly following a smooth-talking traitor.
Clinton was 20 years ago, you were barely alive then.
The President has no defense because he needs none, there was no crime.

All I hear is bla bla bla in your discussion. Now lets get down to brass tacks. “IF” the Biden’s are found guilty of criminal activity in the Ukraine is it not one of the duties of a POTUS to root out corruption in our government? Are the Democrats throwing up this Impeachment to stall or impinge the investigation into such an investigation? If the Biden’s are found guilty then what do you presume we should do?
