<p class="MsoNormal">When it comes to black conservative Republican Congresswoman Mia Love, the left-leaning media has gone color blind. ; While there are a lot of black conservative Republicans, including South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, they are rarely seen on MSNBC, CNN or quoted in their print companions, the <em>New</em> <em>York Times</em> and <em>Washington Post</em>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The world should know that Mia Love is about to break a glass ceiling that has existed since 1909. ; That was Abraham Lincoln&rsquo;s 100<sup>th</sup> birthday, my late father&#8217;s real birthday and the year that Teddy Roosevelt was handing the presidency over to William Howard Taft.  ;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So, what is the record breaking accomplishment?  ;Drum roll, please. ; Love is the first woman to be in the lineup for the Republican team in the annual Congressional Baseball Game on June 14th &ndash; a breakthrough the Democrat team has yet to accomplish. ; Okay, it is not exactly like the first woman President or the first woman on the Liverpool football team (soccer, to us Yanks), but still pretty neat.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">FOX News did not miss this story. ; In an interview with FOX and Friends, Love said that she will be playing second base. ; She sees running as her big advantage since the older guys&rsquo; legs are not in as good shape has hers &ndash; speaking of performability, of course.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In view of the multiple political assassinations attempted on the Republican practice field in advance of the 2017 congressional match up, Love is displaying a bit of courage. ; Of course, it is reasonable to expect that this year&rsquo;s practices have been very well guarded.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Democrats should not be fooled by Love&rsquo;s soft femininity. ; She is a former track star. ; The Republicans are hoping that she is the personification of that old Beatles song, &ldquo;All you need is Love.&rdquo; ; The nation will be watching in wild anticipation to see just how many Democrats can get to second base with Mia Love.</p>
