Hillary: Unborn Children Don't Have Rights
Yesterday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Democratic frontrunner and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed the “unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights.”
Considering her support of Planned Parenthood and her stance on abortion, Hillary’s words are not surprising – but they are still galling to hear.
Host Chuck Todd spoke to Hillary regarding Donald Trump’s botched interview on the same subject, saying, “He had five different positions that we’ve counted up this week on abortion.”
He then asked Hillary for her “straightforward” stance on abortion. “Women have a constitutional right to make these most intimate and personal and difficult decision based on their conscious, their faith, their family, their doctor…” she replied.
Todd then asked her about the constitutional rights of the unborn child, to which Hillary hesitantly responded, “Well, under our laws, currently, that is not something that exists. The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights.”
So the woman has constitutional rights, but the child does not? Hillary, if you could, please explain to me what changes occur between the moments just before birth and those after that imbue a person with constitutional rights. I certainly don’t remember learning that in History class.
We know Plannned Parenthood believes the same thing. That’s why they were able sell body parts of aborted babies without any regard for the humanity of it.
Editor’s note: This is the crux of the problem. Sweeping statements like this ignore all kinds of true facts. We have existing laws in most states that prohibit late term abortions. And it is a fact that a baby at five months is perfectly able to survive outside the mother’s womb with proper medical care. And what changes from the five minute before a baby is born until the five minutes after? People have been charged with murder for killing the baby inside a pregnant woman. Yet Hillary believes a baby can be aborted just before it is born and that it was never a person.
