Hillary's Emails Contained Top Secret Data on North Korean Nukes
The Washington Times reports one of Hillary’s emails contained spy satellite data on North Korea’s nuclear status. This is likely sufficient to establish she violated federal law.
Earlier revelations have indicated leaks regarding Haiti, China, and Sudan, and summaries of confidential conversations with foreign diplomats, which is “born classified” information. Born classified means that by its nature it cannot be other than classified. This latter category of violation, if revealed could easily destroy the credibility of the Office of the Secretary of State.
The case is mounting and may prove unfortunately timed for Clinton. Releases of information are scattered through the coming months. After delays of two years in the release of this information could lose her chance at being elected President if the stream of revelations moves into the Spring 2016.
Federal statute “18 U.S. Code § 793 – Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information” says, in part:
“Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer … Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. “
So far at least six federal judges are hearing lawsuits for the release of Hillary Clinton’s emails in 16 different cases. The Obama administration is so overwhelmed they are asking for a “coordinating judge” to attempt to combine them into a single case.
Author’s note: This information, if leaked to the North Korean’s (likely was), would mean the North Korea knows better our capabilities for monitoring them and be able to better hide their intentions. Considering the 10’s of billions we put into these capabilities, and the lives that would be lost by not having this advantage, its a serious breach.
In wartime, this kind of leak would be grounds for execution.
