Hillary Clinton says we Should Take in 65,000 Syrian Refugees

Hillary Clinton wants to take in 65,000 Syrian refugees during the next year. At least that’s what she told host John Dickerson Sunday on the CBS News program “Face the Nation.”

“We’re facing the worst refugee crisis since the end of World War II,” said Hillary, “and I think the United States has to do more, and I would like to use us move forward from what is a good start – with 10,000 to 65,000 … I also want to see the United States lead the world.”

Her call to action is already being countered by GOP candidates who understand, aside from the risk of terrorism, that America simply can’t handle that many reufgees right now.

Scott Walker, who just dropped out of the race, thinks that the 70,000 Syrians we’ve already taken in is more than enough. “I think we need to stop bringing in more refugees,” he said during a radio interview on Sunday.

It’s no secret that Syria is a breeding ground for terrorism in the name of Islam. Many Americans worry that taking in more Syrian refugees increases the number of potential jihadists within the United States.

I for one fail to see how the United States – a country already drowning in immigrants – could possibly handle 65,000 Syrian refugees.
