<p>The Department of Health and Human Services recently released plans to increase the price of health insurance, even Obamacare and Medicaid.</p>
<p>The new price hike means that premiums will now cover medical treatments such as genital mutilation and hormone therapy for anyone who is going through a gender transition.</p>
<p>According to the Free Beacon, the &ldquo;Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities&rdquo; rule &ldquo;prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability; enhances language assistance for individuals with limited English proficiency; and protects individuals with disabilities.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Under this new regulation, medical professionals cannot deny &ldquo;health care or health coverage based on an individual&rsquo;s sex, including discrimination based on pregnancy, gender identity, and sex stereotyping.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The fact sheet that deals with the sex discrimination portion of the regulation states that medical providers have no right to deny any service related to a sex change including but not limited to hormone therapy, breast implants and genital surgery.</p>
<p>The regulation also touches on the new gender bathroom debate, stating that all &ldquo;individuals must be treated consistent with their gender identity, including in access to facilities.&rdquo;</p>
<p>This regulation means that even though senior citizens must live their final years in pain without access to funds for hip or knee replacements, those who want to transition are free to do as they please. What a world we live in.</p>
