Former Mexican President Is 'not gonna pay' for Trump's Wall
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox appeared on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings With Maria Bartiromo” to enforce that Mexico will not be financing Donald Trump’s wall to protect the border. He also called for Trump to drop out of the presidential race, saying “I would invite this guy to withdraw from the race and go back to his business.”
Fox criticized Trump for his lack of understanding when it comes to the relationship between Mexico and the United States, saying, “This very solid partnership that we have built together, three economies Canada, United States and Mexico. And he should learn that Mexico buys from the United States over a half a billion U.S. dollars worth of trade. And this is what he should consider. Building a wall is stupid. It will go against your best interest.”
Fox called upon Trump to stop attacking minority groups including women, Muslims and migrants and instead focusing on finding a positive solution. The former president insisted that the President of the United States should be respectful and full of class, and Trump does not fit the bill, instead trying to create fear in the hearts of Americans.
As the conversation began to heat up, Fox insisted once more, “I am not gonna pay for that f—ing wall, I am not.”
Another former President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon has also said “Mexican people, we are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall! And it’s going to be completely useless.”
According to Bloomberg, Eduardo Sánchez, a spokesman for Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto said, “Of course it’s false.”
Somehow we suspect Mr. Trump is enjoying this.
