Florida Congressman Files Articles of Impeachment Against Biden

Florida Congressman, Greg Steube, recently announced that he filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden. Steube, who belongs to the Republican Party, cites reasons such as high crimes and misdemeanors, fraud, obstruction of justice, and bribery.

This is not the first time articles of impeachment have been filed, and it is unclear how far this will move forward. In fact, it has happened over a dozen times. Biden denies all.

Steube is vocal about his concerns regarding the current president. “It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden,” he expressed. He believes Biden has compromised the reputation of the presidential office and acted against the interests of American citizens.

Supporting this, Steube stated, “He has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America’s citizens.” He further claimed that Biden used his influence as vice-president to benefit his son, Hunter Biden, and shield him from legal repercussions.

According to Steube, evidence is accumulating, hinting that Biden and his family have financially benefited from his government positions through dubious means. He mentioned on a social media platform that the reasons for his move to impeach Biden include bribery, extortion, obstruction of justice, fraud, and financial ties to drugs and prostitution.

In the wake of this, Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel to look into Hunter Biden. The House Republicans are also launching an investigation into Hunter Biden’s business actions. Despite these efforts, there isn’t concrete evidence linking President Biden’s son’s activities to him.

The Congressman also commented on an incident where drugs were found in the White House, even introducing a bill named the ‘Helping Understand Narcotics Traces at the Executive Residence (HUNTER) Act’ concerning this matter.

Notably, Steube is an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump and endorsed him for his 2024 presidential bid. “He’s widely supported in my district, widely supported in Florida and I’m honored to add my endorsement to the long list of endorsements for President Trump,” he stated.

In reaction to these developments, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the administration’s focus remains on improving the lives of Americans and that the economic data is positive due to the president’s efforts.

It is tough to say when any of these articles of impeachment will get traction. With the media on Biden’s side, and the notion that Kamala Harris would be President if Biden were indeed impeached, it is understandable why Republicans are reticent.

Let Kamala steer the ship as it be.
She can not do much worse, the damage has been done.
The Democrat’s will not mind throwing her under the bus.
It will make a transition into Trumps Presidency that much more favorable.
