<p>Chants of &#8220;don&#8217;t shoot, don&#8217;t shoot&#8221; echoed throughout Dallas, Texas last night as a large crowd ;gathered in peaceful protest of recent police shootings. The protest appeared to be over when snipers opened fire, shooting 12 police officers and killing 5. ;Dallas police have taken three suspects into custody. ;</p>
<p>Chilling eyewitness remarks: ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;All of a sudden I saw and heard 6-8 shots&#8230;it looked like two officers went down.&rdquo;</p>
<p>&ldquo;It looked like an execution, honestly. He stood over the officer after he was already down shot him maybe 3-4 more times in the back&hellip;very, very disturbing to watch.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The most disturbing part of this tragedy was the fourth suspect, who engaged in a standoff with police in a nearby parking garage. ;&ldquo;Our hostage negotiator did an exceptional job getting this suspect to talk before he died,&rdquo; says Police Chief David Brown.</p>
<p>According to Brown, the ;gunman announced that &ldquo;the end was coming&rdquo; and proclaimed that he was upset with Black Lives Matter and the recent shootings. ;&ldquo;The suspect said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers&#8230;The suspect stated that we will eventually find the IEDs. The suspect stated that he was not affiliated with any groups.&rdquo;</p>
<p>To avoid sending more officers into danger, Dallas police sent a &ldquo;robot bomb&rdquo; to the gunman&rsquo;s location. He was killed at 5:00am by the detonation. ;</p>
<p>President Obama calls the tragedy a &ldquo;wretched reminder of the sacrifices police make,&rdquo; while Donald Trump considers the event proof that our nation has become divided. ;</p>
<p>&ldquo;Last night&rsquo;s horrific execution-style shootings of 12 Dallas law enforcement officers&hellip;is an attack on our country. It is a coordinated, premeditated assault on the men and women who keep us safe,&#8221; writes Trump, adding that racial tensions have gotten worse, not better. ;&#8220;We must restore law and order. We must restore the confidence of our people to be safe and secure in their homes and on the street.&#8221;</p>
