FBI Admits to Investigating Clinton's Private Email Server

The FBI has been rather cryptic previously when asked if they agency was looking into Clinton’s past use of a private email server. However, a letter filed in court this Monday confirmed that they are “working on matters related” to the presidential candidate’s email usage.

That’s pretty much all the details the agency revealed. James Baker, the general counsel for the FBI, kept it ambiguous and said that the FBI has not “publicly acknowledged the specific focus, scope or potential targets of any such proceedings.”

As always, the reason for little detail regarding the investigating, was because the agency could not say anything else “without adversely affecting on-going law enforcement efforts.”

It was reported early in 2015, that Clinton was using an outside email service, instead of a more secure government system. As the Secretary of State, she continues to receive tremendous criticism for this error. This government position is the 2nd intelligence target in the world, so communications should always be especially guarded.

This just proves that this was so much more than a “security review “as Clinton has claimed. So should she be trusted as the president? National security is something a future president should take very seriously. Yet, Clinton has previously put highly classified information at risk. If this mistake is made again, who knows what the repercussions could be.
