Up to nine members of Joe Biden’s family may have profited from human trafficking operations, claims the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
“I just saw evidence of human trafficking,” said Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) after reviewing more than 2,000 pages of financial records provided by the Treasury Department. “This involved prostitutes, not only from here in the US but from foreign countries like Russia and Ukraine.”
The Oversight Committee launched a probe into the Biden family last year shortly after Republicans won control of the House. Republicans on the committee have been reviewing suspicious activity reports to determine whether President Biden was aware of/ involved in his family’s schemes and if those schemes comprised national security, while Democrats on the committee have ignored the investigation entirely.
A suspicious activity report or “SAR” is a type of document that banks are required to submit to the Treasury Department. Last year, Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said his team had evidence that Hunter Biden had repeatedly tried to evade such reports.
“As part of our investigation, we have evidence that the finances, credit cards, and bank accounts of Hunter and Joe Biden were commingled, if not shared,” said Comer. “And on some accounts, at least red flags were raised by banks to the account owner or owners indicating suspicious or illegal activity.”
“The records I saw seemed to show Hunter Biden’s corporate account paid for escort services that may have been tied to human trafficking,” laments Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN). “They were buying those services using company money. It’s sick, and there needs to be real accountability for this, even though the liberal media doesn’t seem too keen on covering it.”
As I noted in a previous article, the Oversight committee received considerable pushback when requesting documents from the Treasury Department but was granted access by a Chinese bank almost immediately. The documents obtained from Cathay Bank show millions of dollars flowing from China to Biden family members and raise serious concerns about the family’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
“It’s wild the number of family members involved,” said Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC). “It’s insanity to me that it’s not been investigated in the way that it should be.”
Though documents suggest President Biden played a pivotal role in his family’s schemes, it is unclear if he was aware of the details or involved directly.
“The Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family,” continues Comer. “[The] Committee will continue to pursue additional bank records to follow the Bidens’ tangled web of financial transactions to determine if the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors and if there is a national security threat.”
Separately, Hunter Biden has been the subject of a federal investigation since 2018 regarding tax evasion, money laundering, wire fraud, and violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
The family has also been tied to human trafficking regarding the treatment of unaccompanied minors (UAMs) sent to Florida.
Earlier this month, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody called on Congress to investigate the Biden Administration for human trafficking in regards to the “horrible conditions” experienced by UAMs that were dropped off at Florida airports beginning in 2021.
A Florida Grand Jury recently released its third presentation on the matter, accusing the Biden Administration of:
- “Losing track” of more than 20,000 children
- Failing to conduct background checks on the kids’ sponsors
- Human trafficking
- Child abuse
“A Florida Grand Jury found shocking and horrible evidence of the Biden Administration facilitating human trafficking and child exploitation of unaccompanied minors,” said Moody, noting that the Department of Health and Human Services refused to provide certain documents requested by the jury. “It should enrage everyone that any child is being exposed to such dangerous and terrible conditions.”
Perhaps the most gruesome story related to these accusations is the death of a Florida resident who claimed to be the father of a 24-year-old boy who was falsely labeled as an UAM. The boy arrived in Jacksonville, FL in the middle of the night along with an airplane full of children. Days later, he violently murdered his sponsor by beating him to death with a chair.
The jury was convened last year after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) demanded that improvements be made to state laws to better handle illegal immigration and the treatment of UAMs.
