Evidence of Anti-Trump ‘Secret Society’ in FBI

<p>Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson on Tuesday told <em>Fox News<&sol;em> of a &ldquo&semi;secret society&rdquo&semi; within the FBI that holds clandestine meetings apart from the rest of the agency&period; If true&comma; his claim could spark charges of treason&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Johnson&&num;8217&semi;s claim is based on 384 pages of text messages provided to lawmakers last Friday&period; The messages&comma; sent between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page&comma; suggest both agents knew Hillary would not be charged&nbsp&semi;in the email investigation before she was even interviewed by the FBI&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The level of bias revealed in the texts is &ldquo&semi;stunning&comma;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;said Rep&period; Trey&nbsp&semi;Gowdy &lpar;R-SC&rpar;&period; &ldquo&semi;It is manifest bias not just against Trump&comma; but against his kids&comma; against his business interests&period;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&ldquo&semi;What this is all about is further evidence of corruption&comma; more than bias&period; Corruption of the highest levels of the FBI&period; The secret society &ndash&semi; we have an informant talking about a group that was holding secret meetings off-site&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said Johnson&comma; adding that Robert Mueller is &&num;8220&semi;in no position to do an investigation over this kind of misconduct&period;&&num;8221&semi; Johnson also said the messages between Strzok and Page suggest they were having an &ldquo&semi;extramarital affair&period;&rdquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Johnson is not the first person to speak of a secret society within the FBI&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&ldquo&semi;We learned today about information that in the immediate aftermath of &lbrack;Trump&rsquo&semi;s&rsqb; election&comma; that there may have been a secret society of folks within the DOJ and FBI &ndash&semi; to include Page and Strzok &ndash&semi; that would be working against him&comma;&rdquo&semi; said Rep&period; John Ratcliffe &lpar;R-TX&rpar; on Monday&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking with&nbsp&semi;<em>Fox News&rsquo&semi;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;em>Martha MacCallum&comma; Rep&period; Gowdy pointed to specific messages sent the day after Trump won the election&period; &ldquo&semi;There&rsquo&semi;s a text exchange between these two FBI agents&hellip&semi;saying that perhaps this is the first meeting of the &lsquo&semi;secret society&period;&rsquo&semi;&rdquo&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Lawmakers are also asking questions about a time period of about five months during which no messages were collected&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking with&nbsp&semi;<em>Fox News&rsquo&semi;<&sol;em> Bret Baier&comma; Johnson said he was &ldquo&semi;suspicious&rdquo&semi; about the missing data&period; &ldquo&semi;The loss of records from this period is concerning because it is apparent from other records that Mr&period; Strzok and Ms&period; Page communicated frequently about the investigation&period;&rdquo&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The FBI claims technical issues with its retention software prevented the agency from collecting messages sent from December 14th to May 17th&period;&nbsp&semi;This gap conveniently covers Trump&rsquo&semi;s inauguration&comma; the firing of Michael Flynn and James Comey&comma; and the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel in the Russia investigation&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>On Monday&comma; AG Jeff Sessions promised to &ldquo&semi;leave no stone unturned&rdquo&semi; in an investigation to determine how and why the messages are missing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
