As investigations into the Charleston church shooting progress, a disturbing racist website was found and confirmed as belonging to suspect Dylann Roof. Meanwhile, comedian Bill Maher had the gall to suggest that conservative media may have been a motivating factor in the hate crime. ;

The Last Rhodesian, a racist website owned by the 21-year-old murderer, displayed over 50 images, including pictures of the boy posing with a gun, hoisting a Confederate flag, and burning the American flag. ;

The website’s main content, however, was a manifesto in which Dylann proclaimed his racist opinions of blacks, Hispanics, and Jews. ;

“I was not raised in a racist home or environment,” begins the manifesto. The boy explains that he started developing racist views ;after learning of the Trayvon Martin case. Dylann then started to research racial crime online, citing the Council of Conservative Citizens’ website as inspiration. ;

According to the website, Dylann was trying to start a race war. ;The following words, from Dylann’s website, hint at the upcoming attack: “We have … no one doing anything but talking on the internet. Well, someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and I guess that has to be me.” ;

This senseless violence is no joking matter, unless you’re Bill Maher. Speaking of the troubled 21-year-old during his HBO show, the comedian says, “We can never know why someone snaps, but I bet you I know where he got his news,” hinting that conservative media such as Fox News could have contributed to the boy’s skewed view of reality. ;

Maher backed up his overreaching ;claim by saying that with all the stories about black people featured in conservative media, it could make an uneducated mind believe that blacks are “taking over the country.” ;

Shortly after his arrest last week, Dylann confessed to all charges against him after telling authorities that he “almost didn’t go through with it because everyone was so nice.” The hearing is scheduled for Friday afternoon. ;
