<p>Donald Trump, The 69- year-old businessman, investor, television personality and author, announced he was running for president on Tuesday. &#8220;So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again,&#8221; Trump told the crowd in a lengthy  ;45-minute speech in front of a New York audience.</p>
<p>Trump has considered the idea of running for president for decades, but now has made it official to a packed room in his Trump Tower building in Manhattan. &#8220;Sadly the American dream is dead, but if I get elected president I will bring it back,&#8221; Bigger, better and stronger than ever before,&#8221; stated trump at the conclusion of his announcement speech. ;Mr.Trump now is set to play a prominent role in the upcoming nationally televised Republican debate in August.</p>
<p>Mr. Trump claimed, If he were to win, he would be &#8220;the greatest jobs president that God ever made.&#8221; As required by campaign finance law, Trump revealed his net worth to be 8.73 billion dollars. Such a number certainly indicates Donald Trump knows a thing or two about jobs. ;</p>
