Donald Trump, The 69- year-old businessman, investor, television personality and author, announced he was running for president on Tuesday. “So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again,” Trump told the crowd in a lengthy  45-minute speech in front of a New York audience.

Trump has considered the idea of running for president for decades, but now has made it official to a packed room in his Trump Tower building in Manhattan. “Sadly the American dream is dead, but if I get elected president I will bring it back,” Bigger, better and stronger than ever before,” stated trump at the conclusion of his announcement speech. Mr.Trump now is set to play a prominent role in the upcoming nationally televised Republican debate in August.

Mr. Trump claimed, If he were to win, he would be “the greatest jobs president that God ever made.” As required by campaign finance law, Trump revealed his net worth to be 8.73 billion dollars. Such a number certainly indicates Donald Trump knows a thing or two about jobs.
