Trump seems to have changed his tune regarding Planned Parenthood. While his previous, contradictory comments hinted that he was uninformed, his opinion after watching the undercover videos is concrete: federal funding should stop if abortions continue. ;

GOP candidate Donald Trump discussed his thoughts on Planned Parenthood this weekend during an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd. ;Should the abortion giant continue to receive over $500 million a year in taxpayer funding? Trump says that federal funding should be cut unless PP stops performing abortions. “It has to stop with the abortions,” said Trump. ;

While originally okay with ;abortions, the billionaire says his beliefs have ;“evolved” and that he now considers himself pro-life. ;

Trump spoke with Todd about the “outrageous,” undercover tapes, saying they were “terrible, disgusting by any standpoint.”

“They talked about it almost like we’re making widgets or gadgets,” he said. “They talked about it like we’re doing cars or something. And it was inappropriate. I didn’t like what I saw.”

Trump has yet to decide whether or not he would support a government shutdown in order to defund Planned Parenthood. He ;made sure to mention during the interview that his views against Planned Parenthood do not make him anti-woman.

“Women’s health issues to me are very important. I cherish women. My mother was this incredible woman. I have great children. I have a great wife. I have such great respect for women. I understand the importance of women. I have many executives in my organization that are women that frankly get paid more than many of my men executives. They’ve done great with me,” said Trump. ;
