<p>You may have heard Donald Trump&rsquo;s contested claim that he &ldquo;watched in Jersey City, NJ, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering&rdquo; as the Twin Towers collapsed. While that number may be exaggerated, nine sources have been found that lend credence to his ;words. ;</p>
<p>While there were likely far less than &ldquo;thousands and thousands&rdquo; of Muslim Americans cheering as the World Trade Center burned, the following news sources prove that yes, there were people celebrating during the tragedy we now know as &ldquo;9/11.&rdquo; ;Our first source is Rudy Giuliani, former mayor of New York. When interviewed by CNN&rsquo;s Alisyn Camerota, he said that Trump was &ldquo;exaggerating&rdquo; but yes, Muslims in New York were celebrating. Shortly after the interview CNN&rsquo;s Chris Cuomo stated: &ldquo;Were people celebrating on 9/11? Yes. Is it wrong? Yes. Should you say thousands were? No.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p>Although left-wing news sources like MTV covered it up at the time, reports covering Muslims celebrations have since been unearthed. Now the media is busy trying to spin the story to make Donald Trump look like a liar; but the fact is these reports exist and they had been covered up. ;</p>
<p>Consider this snippet taken from a ;<em>Washington Post</em> ;story published on September 18th, 2001: &ldquo;In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the [Hudson] river.&rdquo; ;</p>
<p>Or a similar story from the ;<em>New York Post</em>, published on September 14th that same year: &ldquo;Here in New York, it was easy to get angry listening to Egyptians, Palestinians, and the Arabs of nearby Paterson, NJ, celebrate as they received word of the murderous attack in New York and Washington. But Mayor Giuliani (who has been tireless and magnificent in this crisis) rightly warned New Yorkers that it would be wrong to take out their anger on the city&rsquo;s Arab and Muslim residents.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Further evidence includes a vast number of witnesses and radio reports. While DC Media managed to cover it up for 14 years, we now know the truth. Donald Trump may have exaggerated, but it was the media that lied. ;</p>
