
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yes, I know that the public hearings of Speaker Pelosi’s kangaroo Select Committee on the Capitol Hill riot will not begin until June 9<sup>th</sup>. ; But … other than the rising of the sun tomorrow morning, there is nothing more predictable than the findings and recommendations of the Select Committee.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The hearings will be nothing more than a partisan dog-and-pony show – the script of which was written when Pelosi announced her intention to create the Committee. ; We already know the conclusions because every member of the Committee has told us what they intend to “prove.” ; And just to keep their preconceived narrative going, they repeatedly stated or leaked their alleged findings on a weekly and daily basis.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If anyone had any doubts about the objectivity of the Committee – or lack thereof – one only needs to look at the House members who serve on it. ; Pelosi picked the most strident partisan and anti-Republican … anti-conservative … anti-Trump members of her Democrat causes. ; Members like California Congressman Adam Schiff, who told a big lie when he claimed that he had seen hard evidence of Trump’s conspiring with the Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. ;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If the Democrats on the Committee look familiar, you will remember they are the same faces that were part of the team to twice prosecute the impeachments of Trump – two of the most partisan political impeachments in American history. ; They are the rabid dogs of the racial left.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Former Senator Claire McCaskill, appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” inadvertently revealed the truth when she said that Pelosi’s Committee is composed of some of the best prosecutors in the nation. ; Get it? ; The Committee has only one mission, to prosecute a case against Trump &;Co. without any opportunity for a defense position. ; It is in no way an investigation. ; That is why I call it a “kangaroo Committee.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In an unprecedented move, Pelosi used – actually abused – her power as Speaker to appoint the Republican members of her Committee. ; Of course, she selected the most outspoken Trump-haters on the GOP side of the aisle – Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger and Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney. ; While they officially align themselves with the Republican Party, they bring no balance, objectivity, or fairness to the work of the Committee.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nowhere in the American legal system do you have an adjudicating body so biased … so committed to a preconceived verdict … so stridently partisan … and so devoid of defense witnesses, testimony and evidence. ; Only a hopeless partisan or complete moron would claim that Pelosi’s Select Committee is anything more than an inquisition panel … a hanging jury. ; It has no credibility – and should not be given any.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But … the left-leaning media will be all over the hearings and any final report as if they are the product of fair inquiry and deliberations. ; They will heap endless praise on the work of the Committee. ; The Democrat-friendly media will promote the Committee’s one-sided propaganda as if the members are a collection of Moses on Mount Sinai getting their information from God Almighty.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The product of the Committee will be impressive in its style and manner. ; The various witnesses will be arranged for maximum impact. ; There will be lots of questions designed to elicit the most damning version of events – and again, no one to say otherwise. ; All the evidence will be carefully selected and interpreted (spun) for the same purpose. ; There will be no tough questions for “friendly” witnesses – no questions impugning the accuracy and integrity of those witnesses – because there will be no one on the panel to ask such questions. ; Conversely, any witness who does not testify in support of the Committee’s preconceived narrative will be challenged and slandered – pilloried in public.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It will most certainly be a major attempt to make Trump and others look bad. ; How could it not? ; It is like hearing only one side in the case of Depp v. Heard. ; What would that court case look like if only one side could present their arguments and witnesses? ; Ponder that, and you will understand the malicious quality of Pelosi’s kangaroo Select Committee. ; You can rest assured that it will be a very slick propaganda narrative – with lots of graphics and video recordings. ; A made for television reality show.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Finding?</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Oh yeah! ; They will find that Trump and others are guilty of insurrection, a coup attempt, and various criminal activities. ; That is a no-brainer. ; And it is only possible because the entire Committee operation is political and corrupt – one of the most outrageous examples of congressional partisanship in American history.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is political and partisan because the Committee operates in a highly politicized court of public opinion, where there are no rules-of-evident and defendant rights. ; In many ways, it will be a lot of “sound and fury signifying nothing.” ; ;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Congress cannot indict anyone. ; It can send “criminal referrals” over to the Justice Department – and even that is easily abused since the “referrals” often have no basis for adjudication. ; It just sounds ominous in the court-of-public-opinion. ; It can be – and in this case, definitely is – a political stunt. ; But rest assured that there will be referrals.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Above all, we must keep in mind the REAL purpose – the sole purpose &#8212; of Pelosi’s Select Committee. ; It is a desperate effort to influence the outcome of the 2022 midterm elections … period. ; It is a campaign stunt on the grandest scale – designed to scare voters away from Republican candidates across the country who have nothing to do with the riot on Capitol Hill. ; The Committee could only be conceived of – and pulled off – by an extremely strident and viciously partisan person. ; Oh … did I mention Nancy Pelosi.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I have never been disappointed in my trust of the American people over partisan politicians, elitist establishmentarians, and politicized members of the Fourth Estate. ; That is why I think this elaborate shameful propaganda production is not going to work. ; They will get a lot of publicity from a crony news media, but I doubt it will move the needle much in the upcoming midterm election.</p>
