Numerous Arabic
language websites posted a twitter message from the official account of Abu
Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Caliph of the Islamic State.
The translated
message reads:
” It is
permissible for the mujahid (jihadi) to enjoy young boys in the absence of
women.”
The Islamic State
leader continues by quoting Koran 52:24:
“There will
circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were
pearls well-protected.”
While female pedophilia
is a prominent theme in the Quran, very little is said regarding male on male pedophilia.
Adult homosexuality has never been tolerated by Islam, but this new exception
Baghdadi has created has catastrophic consequences for the youth of the Middle
East.
Muhammad, who married a seven year old girl,
is supposed to be the model every Islamic male should strive for. To date, all
throughout the Arab world, from Northern Africa to the Gulf Sates, young women
have been taken to serve as child brides and domestic slaves by extremist followers of
Muhammad. The explicit permission to extend this practice to boys only
increases the crisis.
