
<p>Democrats are going to new extremes in desperation to stop President Trump from running in 2024. After failing to take Trump off the ballot in Colorado, they have now attempted it in Maine.</p>



<p>On Thursday (December 28), Maine’s Secretary of State (SOS) Shenna Bellows, a Democrat, announced that she will not allow President Trump on the ballot in her state. In her statement, she repeated the accusation that President Trump engaged in insurrection – an unproven and discredited claim that Democrats have made the slogan of their political war on Trump. Bellows was cited saying:</p>



<p><em>“I am mindful that no Secretary of State has ever deprived a presidential candidate of ballot access based on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment. I am also mindful, however, that no presidential candidate has ever before engaged in insurrection.”</em></p>



<p>The measure of Bellows taking Trump off the ballot came on top of a big defeat for the Democrats in Colorado whose liberal State Supreme Court ruled to take Trump off the 2024 ballot earlier this month. But the ruling has been appealed before the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) by President Trump’s legal team and Trump was put back on the ballot until the SCOTUS rules on the case.</p>



<p>In Maine, this move from Bellows comes as a big attack on the constitutional rights of Americans as the SOS single-handedly decided to ban Trump from running for presidency in her state without any indictment or conviction for insurrection in any court of law. On Friday (December 29), Jack Posobiec shared a clip from a video conference including Bellows to show that her ballot measure against Trump was not as single-handed as it may seem and is in fact part of an organized scheme of liberal groups to stop Trump from running in 2024.</p>

<p><em>The Gateway Pundit</em> called Bellows “Maine’s psychotic Democrat Secretary of State” and reminded that Trump has not been charged with insurrection. <em>Breitbart</em> reported that CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig admitted on Anderson Cooper’s show that Bellows’ decision to bar Trump from the ballot was based on “YouTube clips, news reports” and “things that would never pass the bar in normal court.”</p>

<p>Maine’s Independent Senator Angus King, who caucuses with Democrats and voted to impeach Trump, also came out against Bellows on the ballot ban that targets Trump. He was quoted by <em>The Epoch Times</em> as:</p>



<p><em>“I believe the decision as to whether or not Mr. Trump should again be considered for the presidency should rest with the people as expressed in free and fair elections.”</em></p>



<p>John Andrews, Maine’s Republican lawmaker called Bellows’ decision “hyper-partisanship on full display” and vowed to pursue impeachment of Bellows next week when the legislature resumes work.</p>



<p>CBS reported on Friday that President Trump plans to appeal Bellow’s decision as with Colorado’s ruling. <em>The Independent</em> noted that Bellows’ decision has been suspended until the Superior Court rules on any appeal, or the time to appeal the decision – which is five days – has expired.</p>



<p>Conservatives on social media slammed Bellows in strong words and shared her pictures with Obama, Biden, and other radical liberals. DC Draino called Bellows a fascist.</p>

<p>On Gettr, Bellows was called out for being a narcissist who engaged in the political stunt for attention.</p>

<p>Reacting to Bellows’ frantic attempt to ban Trump from the 2024 ballot, conservative commentator Owen Shroyer had laughter to share in the face of the Democrats as he proclaimed that Donald Trump will be on the ballot in Maine. And he had a message for Trump-hating liberals: cry harder!</p>
